Beautiful peaceful cottage with stunning views Pope from Chelmsford (04 August 2017)
Lovely views, the pictures don't show quite how secluded and spectacular this cottage is. . . excellent hot tub, and facilities. . . the farm track leading to the cottage is annoying, very bumpy, steep and with 3 gates you'll need to open and close to keep the loose sheep in place. It's an experience watching all the sheep run away from you as your driving along the track though! . . other than that that, the lounge sofa isn't the most comfy. . . we'd happily come back though. Really enjoyed our stay. David from Poole (14 July 2017)
Had a great stay at geulan, Scott (07 July 2017)
We had a wonderful stay at guelan cottage, the views really make it. Peter and lesley were both very friendly and helpful, and their dogs are just gorgeous too! the hot tub had just been cleaned and refilled as we arrived, so it wasn't warm enough to use the first day, but we went in 2-3x a day the rest of the week and loved it. Would recommend only heating to 38oc as any hotter requires breaks and that resulted in 21 mozzie bites in one evening! they had provided plenty of towels and gowns, for bathroom and hot tub, and wood for the wood burning stove as well as a really lovely welcome hamper. Their dedication to the cottage is evident. The only tiny improvements that could be made would be a comfier sofa in the main lounge (current one looks good but is very upright and formal), and to perhaps negotiate with the farmer to redo the track up to the house- our car isn't low yet it scraped all the way along. We spent most of our time at the cottage, enjoying the views, but also went to the local beach (yummy fish&chips and ice cream) for a walk despite rain, caernarfon castle and town for a mooch and more ice cream by the marina, zip world, and of course up snowdon. We did a big food shop before we arrived and recommend this- the local coop 15mins away is very small. This enabled us to have 3 meals a day on the terrace, even in the rain- the view was so good it was worth wrapping up to sit outside! for us the location was perfect, but bear in mind it is about 30mins from any bigger areas- for example we considered eating out on our last night but chose to enjoy more views instead of wasting time driving. I've been raving to everyone about this place since staying, and can't wait to go back. Peter and lesley- thank you so much x Lucy from Leeds (30 June 2017)
The cottage was lovely and in a very picturesque spot but unfortunately we had no heating or hot water from the taps for the first night of our 2 night stay. The owners were very apologetic and were waiting for an electrician when we arrived but he didn't show. We had use of a log fire for heat but the bedrooms were very cold so the first night was very uncomfortable. The owners did bring a heater on the second day and once the heating was repaired the second night it made such a difference. To add to our problems the owners had taken the instructions away to update so we struggled trying to work out the cooker and hot tub. The garden was very secure for our dog and it is in a very secluded spot with gorgeous views. We would go back for the seclusion and views as long as the heating was working! Excellent cottage, fantastic location, would love to spend a full week there Phillip from Bristol (04 June 2017)
Great cottage, beautiful views, plenty of interesting places not to far, hot tub was a bonus, access track was a bit tricky, but overall a very enjoyable holiday. Beryl (26 May 2017)
Fabulous holiday cottage with stunning views overlooking mountains & lake. a welcome hamper together with milk, tea coffee etc was most appreciated. Do take provisions as the shops are a drive away. this is probably the best cottage I have stayed in comfort, views & of course the luxurious hot tub. everything is there for your enjoyment, even robes & towels especially to use in the hot tub. . I would rate it 10/10 & would definitely love to return. Ann from Walsall (05 May 2017)
Excellent cottage with a fantastic location (especially from the hot tub!), very comfortable and well equipped. Highly recommended! Confirmed Guest (28 April 2017)

Perfect cottage and perfect location. Have already booked to go again. Can't praise it enough. Idyllic. Tim from Hadfield (23 March 2017)
We had a fantastic time. Our only gripe was that the living area sofas were not that comfortable otherwise. Beautiful location lovely cottage great price. Bianca from Wirral (17 March 2017)
Great place to stay!!! Confirmed Guest (12 March 2017)
Stop!! no need to search any more this cottage is perfect in everyway. The pictures do not do this cottage justice, we was amazed when we first walked in, simply stunning. There is so much to do, everything within a half hour drive and plenty of shops to stock up within a 20 min drive. The highlight for us was the walk (climb) up mount snowdon a must if u stay at this cottage the soak in the hot tub afterwards was much needed. Best break we have had as a couple by far already thinking of a date to return. Just a thought, some may like the luxury look of the sofa already in the cottage but a more comfy sofa to relax in the lounge after a long day out would be good. Reece from Birmingham (02 March 2017)
A wonderful gem of a cottage, we had a really relaxed few days, amazing hottub brill walks one of the best cottages we have stayed in. Richard from Pucklechurch (17 February 2017)
can't rate this cottage high enough. We booked for a 8th wedding anniversary to spend some time together away from the busy lives we lead. This place is everything, you are in a field in the middle of nowhere, no traffic noise apart from the sheep. Over looking the mountains. Every window has a story where you find yourself just standing there looking at the view with your mouth open. The hot tube was amazing, drinking champagne talking which we realised we haven't talked this much in ages, loved the log fire and comfy blankets, great time together. Already booked for next year. Sarah from Walsall (12 February 2017)
Absolutely great! - we really enjoyed our stay! thankyou Rob from Sheffield (10 February 2017)
Had a great time at geulan, the cottage was cozy and had everything we needed, the bathroom was beautiful with a free standing bath. The view from the cottages is awesome especially taken in from the hot tub. Can't wait to return Diane from Leamington Spa (03 February 2017)
Best cottage we have stayed in so far. Local to all the snowdon paths and the seaside. Great views from the hot tub. Cottage heating was perfect and cosy. The driveway is not as bad as thought, take it easy no issues in my zafera. Some of the kitchen cutlery was broken, but we always have camping cutlery. Stunning views, well kept, the best week away in a long time, I am never one to return, but I would return here and recomend. Loved it, thankyou to the owners for sharing, best regards, carl, jo and thornton xx Carl from Hinstock (25 November 2016)
Lovely cottage. Nicely decorated. Hot tub and views are absolutely amazing. Great welcome pack. Had a lovely, peaceful relaxing break. Not far from shops, beach etc. The drive is a rough track, but we had no issues at all, just take it slow. Garden is great for dogs, completely secure but nice big space. Good communication from owner before hand when I had a question. Will definitely return. Area to improve if i'm being picky: the hot water didn't last long enough to fill the bath, had to fill it half up then let the water warm up again and finish filling. Emily from Staffordshire (13 November 2016)
I can't really think of anything to say other than this place is simply stunning in every way. Very remote, everything is a drive away.. except the views. Hot tub, bottle of fizz and the views. Can't ask for anything else. Will definitely return. James from Sheffield (31 October 2016)
Cannot fault the cottage, best ever. lovely to stay somewhere where there are no hidden costs - fuel, pets etc. the only negative (which I do not believe the owners can do anything about) is that the track/drive to the property is very very bad - quite unnerving in the dark and not good for the vehicle. would be difficult to walk up let alone drive. would definatly book again and a friend is already looking to book this property. thank you for a brilliant week :-) Sally (28 October 2016)
What a beautiful cottage and setting for a short break. Lovely touch the welcome hamper. We will be back x Mitch from Swindon (21 October 2016)
This cottage is just beautiful. We wanted a quiet get away and this was exactly this. . the hot tub amazing, the views to die for and the rooms beautiful. Nothing was wrong but we were not there lol no enough. We will definitely return to geulan Val from Macclesfield (25 September 2016)
Superb accomodation and location, well equipped for self catering, the view from the decking is beautiful and the hot tub is superb with its built in bluetooth for playing music while you relax. , will definitely go again. Brian from Market Drayton Shropshire (23 September 2016)
A fantastic cottage which was well equipped. Plenty of things to do within a ½ hour drive. We could easily have spent another week here, and our 16 month old daughter loved the place too! the owners clearly care about their customers having a relaxing and enjoyable stay! Andy from Bath (16 September 2016)
Overall the cottage was very well equipped, however, to make it that little bit more like home from home I would recommend a couple of things: . a tray for the kitchen,. another chopping board,. better cutlery set - the handles of the knives kept falling off,. a large cafetière or filter machine,. bottle opener that works,. a couple of recliners for the garden - there wasn't anywhere to lie and relax (except the bed). the cottage was warm and comfortable and it was nice to have a heating control that was accessible and easy to use. The welcome hamper was exceptional - never had one like that before. The only thing that spoils the location which you probably can't do anything about was the rubbish as you go up the drive and general junkyard mess of the farm. . the location otherwise was superb with the views across snowdonia. . we also enjoyed the hot tub - what a great place for one. . we had a fantastic holiday and would certainly recommend the cottage. Thank you. Kara from Winchester (02 September 2016)
Everything fantastic ,comfort ,views they thought of everything.even though your halfway up a mountain & feel your miles away from shops ect your only ten mins away from shops& beaches & half of an hour to other destinations such as mt snowdon & angesly beaches.yes we will return again!! Gillian from Skidby ,East Yorkshire (05 August 2016)
Lovely cottage in a great location with stunning views, had everything we needed and more. . would recommend to friends and family, we took our 5 month old baby, there was plenty to do only a short drive away. Jessica from Rochester Kent (22 July 2016)
Amazing views, delightful well equipped cottage. After a long walk, the hot tub relaxed away the aches and pains with the added bonus of looking out at the views. Only negative was the track road up to the cottage, you have to take this slow and easy. I would definitely stay again when in the nantlle area again. Kath from Isle Of Man (15 July 2016)
Wonderful holiday, so peaceful and the most amazing views from the best hot tub we have had on a holiday Gill from Derby (01 July 2016)
Fantastic place to stay, beautiful views from the house and hot tub. We stayed here with our dog and two children (2 years and 7 month old) accommodation is toddler friendly (as long as the door to the stairs was closed) . . hot tub was lovely and can easily fit 6 adults, beds were comfy and kitchen fully equipped with everything you need. The home from home extras were brilliant including bath toys for the children and blankets for the dogs. . . property is only a short drive to most attractions and shop only a 5 minutes drive into the village. . . only negative is the drive up but if you take it slow or have a 4x4 it's fine. Confirmed Guest (24 June 2016)
The cottage was absolutely beautiful. Could not find any fault with the cottage or its facilities. Highly recommend this cottage. View is amazing especially from the hot tub! my partner and I stayed here for relaxation and a walk up snowdon. Only a 30 min (tops) drive away from llanberis path for people looking for this type of accommodation. Drive through the farm path slowly to save the underside of your car but apart from that, no problems! Sam from Loughor (20 June 2016)
Gorgeous cottage, beautiful location, hot tub fantastic after day out. decking area brilliant but rest of garden slightly like a building site, which was a shame. The lane to the cottage to be approached with caution. Christine from Staffordshire (17 June 2016)
Wow abit of welsh magic, fantastic, the accomodation, views and the tranquility are all first class. The owners have done a wonderful job. Would highly recommend. Sue from Chorley (06 June 2016)
