Very peaceful nice walks along the river and over the suspension bridge totally relaxing holiday,we would definitely return Darren from Peterbrough (11 August 2017)
We have stayed on the site many times but our usual cabin was no longer available and others did not take pets. The park itself is wonderful, the kids love playing in the river with the dog and builth is not far so a shop for food is a short drive. If your looking for somewhere to eat out etc then other than local pubs there will to be anything.less than an hours drive to breacon and that's a great plus. The cabin was spotless and while dated decor it didn't matter- most of the cabins are slightly old fashioned. Oven immaculate. Wendy kindly provided towels, that was extremely helpful with a family of things to pack anyway. We cut our holiday short as our daughter was poorly and were so upset to leave. The only addition that would be very useful is wifi- simply because there is no phone signal, meaning when you have something g important to deal with such as calling a doctor it's almost impossible. Emma from West Sussex (30 June 2017)
A place to relax and unwind in a lovely chalet in beautiful surroundings. Brian from Norwich (23 June 2017)
Excellent chalet, wonderful location, really convenient for brecon beacons and the hay festival, really comfotable wellequipped chalet and lovely site Sian from Haverfordwest (02 June 2017)
Nice chalet, well looked after, good location.very central for exploring the area.would have no hesitation in visiting again. Neil from Kingsteignton (14 October 2016)
Very peaceful and quiet site, lovely relaxing couple of days, thankyou Confirmed Guest (21 September 2016)
Good location to builth wells, if any in family fish the river is lovely. The owner catherine, thought of the little add on, wash up, tea bag , all linen etc; she is also a very helpful person. Wendy from Risca (29 August 2016)
Area surrounding and campsite were great. Campsite was noisy at night till late. Main bedroom very small hardly space to dress. Electric meter in cupboard in main bedroom made noise in night. Boiler pilot light constantly flickering noise. Decking area dirty and full of cobwebs. Crockery had to be washed before use Mark from Northampton (19 August 2016)
Lovely short break. Apart from smoke detector going off when we used the cooker/oven (even boiling eggs !!) we were more than happy. chalet decor a little dated but definitely value for money. Ruth from Barnsley (28 July 2016)
Wonderful little hideaway I would go back again and again Maria from Cwmaman (11 July 2016)
We all loved our break. The rabbits were great the location was very peaceful and lovely. Unfortunately the living area wasn't the cleanest for us. The sofa smelt which didn't make it 100% comfortable for us but that's the only fault I have got and appreciate that other people stay there so its not going to be towards my own personal standards Caroline from Neath (28 August 2015)
It was really great, so peaceful and quite. We will be going back again. Terry from Eastleigh (03 August 2015)
Excellent property and ideal with dogs. it would have been lovely to have somewhere to eat. I know there was a hotel next door but if your disabled you are unable to walk across bridge and its states you can walk to the village but with a disability scooter and no pavement for half the trip not very safe. Shirley from Bournemouth (26 June 2015)
Great chalet for a base for use for the week. Beautiful location. Lucy from Lincoln (29 May 2015)
We enjoyed a lot our stay at chalet 51 and it is a lovely place for a family to relax as well to explore around; however we noticed that chalet 51 was a bit poor with equipment when we compared to our other self-catering holidays. Sakine from London (07 April 2015)
