A really lovely cottage in a fantastic location! the cottage is warm, cosy and provides everything you need on a holiday in snowdonia. The owners have very tastefully decorated the place and are extremely helpful with any queries. We will definitely come back! Stefanie from Berlin (04 August 2017)
A truly wonderful cottage with everything you need. In a great location shops and restaurants close by. Just one thing, the outside space although there's lots of it, it does need tidying up to make it look more appealing to the eye and maybe garden furniture updating. However this hasn't stopped us wanting to go back and stay there because the cottage more than makes up for the outside space. Lovely owners who provide welcome gifts. Denise from Newton Le Willows (16 June 2017)
No problem with the cottage, it was lovely and warm, comfortable and very clean. the only slight drawback was one of our cars was unable to access the parking area due to its width. however, overnight parking is available in the nearby public car park for 50p. the location of the cottage was ideal for local pubs, cafés and shopping. a good location to explore the area. This was our second time here. An absolutely fabulous place to stay. Lovely layout with a large dining room next to the kitchen to socialise. Owners left a lovely welcome gift of welsh cakes wine and milk. Ample parking too. Lynne from Mexborough (01 May 2017)

Comfortable cottage. Good location. Pete from Caerphilly (15 October 2016)
The layout of the cottage was nor right for us, but still a lovely cottage and location was great. David from Grimsby (26 August 2016)
A lovely house in a splendid location, we enjoyed our stay very much!. there's plenty to do all within a reasonable driving distance around betws so our kids had a fab time too. Confirmed Guest from There'S Plenty To Do All Within A Reasonable (12 August 2016)
We recently stayed at bryn awel in bewtsy - coed north wales and whilst we thought the cottage was lovely there were a couple of things that dissapointed us. . firstly the description of the property fails to mention how tight the driveway is and how difficult it is to manoeuvre a car on to it from the road. . we scraped our car on the wall and it was a perilous start and end to each day manovering the car in and out of the driveway. . secondly the description says the cottage has an "enclosed patio area with outdoor furniture overlooking meadow". . this is not the case as there buildings at the back of the property that block any view of the meadow. The garden furniture is also tired. . the cottage itself is spacious clean and comfortable. But unfortunately we would not return or recomend it to anybody due to the problems with the driveway. Chris from Northampton (05 August 2016)
We had a fantastic stay at bryn awel, it had everything we needed and more. Small touches to welcome you were lovely, house was clean, tidy and all linens, towels etc were provided to a high standard. Location was perfect for us, everything was within walking distance, including some lovely places to eat. . cottage was perfect for the 2 families, as it was well spaced out and 2 bathrooms!. the only problem we had was the driveway. It is very tight, which resulted in a nasty scratch to an audi a3 and our 4x4 being parked in a 'pay & display' car park 200 yards away, incurring extra costs. Pat from Shrewsbury (29 July 2016)
Lovely accommodation, clean and comfortable in a great location. Would stay there again. Confirmed Guest (18 April 2016)
Very comfortable for a family of five. Convenient for local shops and a short drive into snowdonia. The owner went beyond the call of duty to make our stay happy. The cottage is much more spacious than it looks from the photo of the front as it is arranged over three floors. Dave from London (08 April 2016)
The house is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside as it is 3 floors at the back and 2 at the front. A good sized parking area with an open fronted canopy area which was great for storing the trailer and would be good for bikes. Entrance at side of house is rather tight best approached from the bridge end of the road to give space for the turn. Inside large dining area on lower ground next to kitchen, also a shower and toilet room. The dining room could do with some brighter lighting, the gas fire really warms up the room quickly. On the ground floor is a large well furnished lounge and a double bedroom and shower / toilet. The 1st floor has two bedrooms which are nice and bright, this is where the heating controls are. That is a bit of a pain and it would be more convenient if they were in the lounge. The location is excellent a couple of minutes walk to the royal oak and shops. Plenty of walks from betws y coed without having to drive out, waymarked route from back of st mary's church up to llyn elsi (lake). nice walk from the house along the river towards swallow falls. John from Melling (15 November 2015)
This was the perfect cottage for our group of 5 adults, a toddler, and an infant. the place was beautiful, comfortable, and in a perfect location! we were provided with an infant cot, which made traveling much easier. while there, we hiked mount snowdon, visited conwy castle, and saw swallow falls. we also loved the cute town of betws-y-coed. overall, it was a fantastic experience!! Molly from Brandon (07 September 2015)
Excellent cottage full of all necessary equipment and bright and cheerful only downside no grass to sit on in back garden but you can't have everything! Jacky from Manchester (26 June 2015)
The cottage looked lovely from the outside and when we opened the door and walked in what a super cottage inside.everything we needed was there all in all a fabulous time. Andrew from Tamworth (27 December 2014)
