Amazing place to stay. Friendly owners met us on arrival. The pictures don't do the barn conversion justice. It was beautiful. We will definitely be booking again . Mrs Corfield (August 2017)
5th time here says it all. Mr Bishop (August 2017)
Value for Money. Very friendly host. Mr Bethavolu (April 2017)
Wheal Hart was very comfortable, warm and centrally located- we will definitely be coming back! Ms Whitehouse from Farnham (October 2016)
Second visit to this complex stayed in smaller wheal rose couple of years ago said we would return and booked wheal hart this time so freinds could join us. Both parties impressed with accommadation cleanliness, space, seperate en-suite bathrooms and little touches like books, jigsaws and a welcome bottle of wine and milk. Would recommend to all looking to stay in Cornwall Mr Ogram from Hull (October 2016)
Beautiful converted barn in a tranquil country side location. Very well equipped and very warm and cosy. Will definitely go back again. Mr Thompson from Manchester (September 2016)
We were so impressed with this property. Spotless, beautiful and lovely helpful owners. Couldn't fault it and will definitely return. Many thanks for great service and a great holiday. Mr Evans from Ipswich (August 2016)
This was our second visit to Wheal Hart and we were once again delighted. Every aspect is exemplary, the location, the welcome, the property, the equipment and the standard or cleanliness. We will very likely be back. Mr Adams from Radstock (April 2016)
I particularly liked the décor and cleanliness of the cottage and it's tranquil surroundings. The cottage has tremendous character with the beams and exposed brick. I liked the little finishing touches the owner placed around the cottage. Mrs Coward from London (January 2016)
A lovely quiet location with beautiful views. Wheal Hart was an extremely comfortable place to return to after a busy day exploring Newquay and it's surrounding areas. The owners were always on hand if you needed them and nothing was too much trouble for them. Mrs Jones from Stoke-On-Trent (September 2015)
A truly amazing cottage and so are the owners. I can not praise this cottage enough. It is like being in a home from home. Everything which you need it is there and more. The cottage is out of the village but only 5 minutes drive and about 7 minutes from the main road if you go the other way up the lane but we liked this. We could get to the beaches quickly through St Newley and the main road on to the Dual carriage way the other way. A perfect place to stay if you want to explore and so peaceful it is unbelievable. The only sounds were a tractor, owls and birds of pray flying high in the air. Just perfect for families, friends and couples of all ages. Emma S (September 2015)
I would recommend this property to anyone.I cannot explain to people how perfect the cottage was.The property was extremely clean and well furnished. The kitchen was just amazing, It had everything you could wish for and more.It was the little things that made the differences.BBQ charcoal was there, along with lighter fluid and matches (all separate), a bottle of wine waiting for us as soon as we pulled up.The owner came over and introduced himself. He shown us where everything was, how everything worked and then got a map out and recommended places. We had an issue with the fridge breaking which the owner resolved in minutes. This cottage is perfect. Mrs Snowden from Heywood (August 2015)
Liked the quality and location of the property, and for our family it was a perfect week. The owners were more than happy to advise and help with any questions we had regarding the local area or the property. Mr James from Hastings (August 2015)
This was our 5th visit and will be going again. Perfect holiday with or without kids if you want to stay in this area of the UK. Mr Cropper from Littleborough (July 2015)
A lovely barn conversion in the middle of nowhere, but close enough to visit all the Cornwall attractions. Two bedrooms, both with en suite which was very useful with 3 teenage daughters. Very home from home, everything you need for a comfortable stay...they had Sky fitted the day we arrived & the Wifi was a must after a full day out, the girls disappeared into their room on their tablets!! Happy girls means happy holiday!! thechinns (July 2015)
This holiday cottage is in a superb location overlooking fields and hills and is very peaceful. The cottage was spotlessly clean and the owner was very helpful and provided plenty of information. Would definitely like to return someday and would highly recommend. Ms Anderson from Gillingham (May 2015)

This lovely barn conversion has everything you need and is very modern and comfortable. The outlook from the back is gorgeous with nothing but sheep and grass. Easily assessible main roads despite the quiet location. It has supermarkets within a few miles and plenty to do nearby. The owners who live next door were helpful but did not interfere.
