As an academic I need to be able to retrieve emails and I had marking and a lecture to write whilst away. My husband is self employed and also needed to be able to retrieve emails and keep up to date with social media. After the first 24 hours of trying to connect to the internet I asked at the pub across the street who I think we're the owners of the cottage. I was told that the cottage had not had internet for weeks. To add to this where we were staying was a complete black spot for mobile phone signal, thus we were completely black ops until we had driven roughly 15 mins from the village. Although we were due to stay 4 nights we cut our trip short as I was behind with work and my husband was losing money! He almost lost out on a very lucrative contract! This is 2019, people expect to be able to communicate with the outside world. If you are marketing a property that is so remote and cut off please inform potential renters what to expect. When deciding to leave early I rang your company to express my disappointment. I was then made to feel as if I was lying as I was quizzed as to why I had not been in touch earlier. The conversation was along the lines of "So you could get a signal when you left the village? As I'm just wondering why you haven't contacted us before?". I was also told that someone would be in touch after they had contacted the owners. This so far has not happened. I am very disappointed with not just my stay at the cottage but with your customer service. Moreover, as busy people my husband and I often book weekend breaks and this experience has put us off from having any further dealings with your company. Mrs Lawton (March 2019)
But fantastic base, great scenery, the two pubs where lovely would turn back to the area again, but not to this cottage Ms Crossley (August 2018)
Needs redecorating as wallpaper peeling away from the wall and quite dated. Evidence of mould on walls and around windows. Not the best cottage but we paid a discounted price so not too bad. Miss Peacock (March 2018)
We had a wonderful 3 night stay over Christmas with the dog. The location is perfect for walking, beautiful scenery all around. The cottage was well equipped with plenty of logs and coal for the wood burner which made it so cosy. Some great touches on arrival made us feel very welcome and we wished we could’ve stayed longer! We completely recommend this cottage to couples looking to get away from their busy lives. Amanda N (December 2017)
The cottage was perfect for us really. The location, the size, everything we wanted for a peaceful, relaxing holiday away from the kids Mr Tomlinson (September 2017)

Lovely cosy cottage. Had every facility we needed. Lack of wood for fire resolved quickly and easily by the owner. No complaints whatsoever. Will be back! Mrs Allen (March 2017)

Excellent base for exploring the area Ms Woolley from Mansfield (August 2016)
We particularly liked the ease of booking it and the cosiness of the property. It was the perfect size and was always nicely warm, having the fire available for the evenings was a lovely bonus. There were available walks all around, without having to drive and really lovely friendly people all round. Could not have asked for better! Mrs Fish from Doncaster (October 2015)
A stylish little cottage equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. My dog and I used it as our base for a walking holiday, particularly exploring the lakes/villages Bala and Vyrnwy. Oswestry is a very interesting place to visit, including the hillfort/old castle site within walking distance of the town. The Llangynog pubs are very good and food is available most of the day and reasonably priced. Saturday night was 'lively' until very late but other nights were very quiet. The only difficulty I had was that lights from cars using the car park opposite came straight into the bedroom, this continued throughout the night .I have recommended the fitting of a blackout blind! Penny B (October 2015)
A lovely little cottage set in beautiful surroundings. The views are stunning wherever you go! There were two pubs literally on your doorstep, and both serve food. We would devoutly go back to Ty Bach Cottage. Mr Eilbeck from Hemel Hempstead (August 2015)

The cottage surroundings were breathtaking. A few hundred yards up the road is a walk on the mountain with plenty of photo opportunities of the village and surrounds. Mrs Hibberd from Swindon (September 2014)
Fabulous Cottage in a very nice village. The pub over the road does great food and the surroundings are breathtaking. The Cottage looks to have been refurbished recently and has all you need for a restful break. Mrs Hannah from Brigg (June 2014)
