The location of the cottage put us in touch with so many points of interest. We would highly recommend the Granary and if ever we are in the area again we would stay in the Granary. Judy & Dan Frantz Mr Frantz (September 2018)
Great to know that the house is good! Especially if you come from a different country! Mrs Wesseling (July 2018)
The owners were very helpful and accommodating great hosts offering ideas to visit, within half an hour you could be at the seaside or visiting lovely towns and villages. The pool was a lifesaver in this heat and was most welcome after returning from my days out. The 6’ bed was extremely comfortable. It’s everything you can imagine an old stone cottage would be and I will be visiting again. Miss Cumber (July 2018)
I really enjoyed my stay at The Granary. The surrounding area is beautiful. Mr Burt (June 2018)
We have just returned from a weeks stay at The Granary in Edington. The location is very quiet and peaceful but there is an excellent local shop within 2 minutes walk of the property. They stock a wide range of food and drink including the Cook range of frozen meals. There is also a choice of 3 pubs within a mile range. We received a warm welcome from Simon who was extremely helpful throughout our stay. The Granary gardens are delightful and we had both table and chairs and loungers. The pool was great to dip in to cool down, very welcome as we were lucky with the weather. The Granary is nicely furnished with an open plan kitchen diner and sitting room. There is a small compact shower room downstairs. The heated towel rail was very appreciated. Steep stairs lead to a lovely mezzanine bedroom area with a super king bed which was very comfortable. There is also a single bed opposite which can be separated by a screen if required.Although steep the stairs have clear markings on the edges and there is a night light to use in the kitchen to illuminate them. There is storage heaters and an additional gas heater for chilly evenings. The area is very pretty with plenty to see and do. We visited Dunster castle and village which was a full day and very enjoyable. We also enjoyed the steam train ride to Minehead. If you fancy some shopping the Clarks village is also close by. dianab55 (May 2018)
The owners were very friendly & approachable. The cottage had everything you could possibly need, even down to shower gel& toilet rolls (although we had taken our own it was a lovely idea in case people had forgotten). The garden was beautiful & our son enjoyed playing in it. Mrs Evans (May 2018)
Stairs are steep as mentioned but clearly marked and a night light is provided. There are 3 pubs within a mile. Grounds and pool are lovely and peaceful. Owner is very helpful and approachable. Mrs Baker (May 2018)
