Excellent location -rural feel but close to amenities and a short drive to the city of Bath. Mr Franklin (August 2021)
We also visited Bristol twice which is about 10 miles away. Once in the cottage you wouldn't think you were so close to town as it was very quiet and surrounded by fields. The cottage itself was very well equipped with everything we could possibly need. The owner was very welcoming and friendly, we were greeted with local apple juice and eggs from his chicken on our arrival which was lovely. However this may not be the property for you if you are very afraid of spiders as lots seemed to find their way in, especially upstairs! Mrs Jones (July 2021)
The welcome hamper was very nice and was much appreciated. The property was in a lovely rural location but very close to the centre of Bath. Mr Plummer (June 2021)
Despite the summary on the Sykes site, it is still astonishing that the place can be so close to a busy road in a city and yet feel so remote. From the sunny window upstairs the views across the countryside give no indication of the metropolis nearby. Can't hear it either. Park & Ride is just a few minutes drive away and free to use for us ancients with concessionary pass. There are pleasant walks from the cottage and the owners are very friendly and helpful. Perfect. Mr Cobham (May 2021)
Very friendly owner , did everything he could to make us comfortable. Very kind of him to offer his 3 pin ev charger to charge my tesla! Mr Gandhimani (December 2020)
the welcome hamper was a very nice thought. I would definitely stay in this cottage again . Mr Thompson (October 2020)
I could easily stay here for weeks. Such peaceful place with full of nature and scenic surroundings. Best of all was the host, Matt who accommodated us in the best way. Even let us use his BBQ to make the day even better. Mr Usama (August 2020)

Peaceful silent and only a few minutes away from the center of Bath mr Hoedemaker (July 2020)
It was equipped with everything we needed. Its proximity to the Park and Ride made trips into Bath centre easy and stress free. Mrs Boulton (November 2019)
The cottage is in a lovely secluded spot but only 15mins from bath city centre. I really liked that they were eco friendly and trying to be with ethical and sustainable. I didn’t notice this in the listing though which I think a lot of people would like to know. Mrs Bonacini (October 2019)
The facilities were top notch. The hosts, including the lovely Ripple, greyhound and very friendly, were very nice. I want to know what mattress they had in the master bedroom as it was so comfy. Ms Kearn (September 2019)
On arrival we were greeted by Matt who explained about the cottage and the local facilities. The welcome pack was a nice thought and covered basic essentials, including fresh farm eggs...The cottage was light and airy, modern decor and spotlessly clean. In addition the bed was as comfy as those claimed by a national hotel chain. Getting about was easy with local bus stops close by as was the park and ride 5 minutes up the road. Some 10 minutes walk was a local Tesco convenience store. The owners are operating a very green business model and that has a to br commended. In summary an idyllic location to stay in clean and comfortable accommodation with great owners. Highly recommend . Mr Pettit (September 2019)
despite being off a main road it is actually quite secluded. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. The owners are friendly and helpful and kindly gave us a lovely welcome basket including fresh eggs from the chickens which the kids loved! we very much appreciated the time taken to tell us about the orchard and the surrounding area-it was very kind and welcoming. the location is excellent for visiting Bath with bus routes and the park and ride nearby or a 10 minute drive into the centre itself. we also visited Lacock Abbey, Bradford-on-Avon, Longleat, Frome, Cheddar Gorge and lots of other lovely towns all in reasonable driving distance. would absolutely recommend this cottage and the children are already asking to return! Mrs Wijesiri (August 2019)
The location was excellent, very close to Bath but also in a quiet location. One immediately had the feeling of being in the English country side with lovely views. In addition to the very comfortable cottage a table and chairs was made exclusively available to us where we could sit under the trees on the edge of the apple orchard. All in all, an experience we will never forget. Mr Warren (June 2019)
Easy access into Bath but set in quiet and tranquil surroundings allowing for a relaxing holiday. The cottage is fully equipped with all amenities and hosts were always on hand if needed. Mrs Douglas (March 2019)
We wish it could have been longer. The location and the view was excellent. Matt and Louise were great hosts. The house was really cute and cosy. The fire place was all setup and ready to go. So was the kitchen, with a cute basket full of goodies. Even though it's well connected to the city, once you are in the property it feels you are amongst nature. We would love to visit and stay there again. :) Mr Sen, May 2017. Sen
Best of both worlds! Ho

The landlord was so kind and coperative. The house is very nice and a wonderful place to relax. Matt was very kind and would always meet us while smile on his face. I would 100% recommend this place for stay while in Bath. It is not very far from Bath Centre and very easily accessible on the Bus. Wonderful place will definitely book it again when in Bath next time†Mr N
