Anne and Dave were a joy to stay with and the whole experience was top notch beginning with our tour around the bungalow/annexe to their information regarding local amenities and sites of interest around the out lying area. Sad to have to leave. Mr Pogson (April 2019)
Excellent place to stay we are always very well looked after look forward to staying again soon. Miss Howells (December 2018)
They are really lovely, so much so that this was our third visit. Mrs Dobson (June 2018)
Close to places of interest on the Welsh coast. Ideal for people interested in scenery and wildlife because of proximity to places like Kenfig and Parc Slip nature reserves, Welsh Hawking Centre and Bryngarw Country Park. The local pub, The Nicholls Arms was also a really welcoming cosy place. The owners of the cottage couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. They made us feel really at home. The bed was so comfortable, that we slept better than we've ever done when away from home. The garden was so lovely and the weather good, so we ate our evening meals there. Definitely a place we would love to return to. Thank you Ann and David Mrs Jones (May 2018)
I think this was the nicest accommodation that we have stayed in, the owners Anne and David made us most welcome, and we are definitely considering booking again for next year! Thankyou Mrs Merrill (November 2017)
The accommodation is very well maintained and clean. Mr Spicer (August 2017)
Sadly we have completed the coast path each side for quite a way. The owners were enthusiastic in their welcome and discrete during our stay making everything perfect. Mr Harrison (June 2017)
A comfortable and clean cottage. Found it a good base for touring this part of Wales. Mrs White (April 2017)
This is lovely cottage the people are very friendly and make you welcome can not say in enough words how helpful thay are thank you ann and Dave hope to see you soon jim and Pauline Jones (March 2017)
Incredibly well equipped and very clean annex to the owners home which makes a perfect holiday cottage located close to a nature reserve and within easy distance of Tondu railway station with regular trains that connect via Bridgend to many destinations around South Wales. The owners are super, there if you need them but not intrusive in any way. This is an ideal for visiting places without doing much driving if you like viewing the scenery as you travel to your destination. We stayed here for 2 weeks, and we loved every moment. With gardens such as Dyffryn (National Trust), the famous Gower peninsular, and several ruined castles such as Carreg Cennen or Dinefrw are an easy day trip from Swn Y Nant, The Museum of Welsh Life at St Fagans near Cardiff was another highlight of our trip. it would be quite easy to stay here again and duplicate very little. But I could equally return and repeat every day quite happily as we had such a great time. DaveWGCook (September 2016)
This cottage is perfect, not only in its location but it also has everything you could possible need. The whole place was spotlessly clean. The kitchen is fully equipped and the owners went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed without intruding on my privacy. There is plenty of off road parking and even a garden area for you to use that is not overlooked.... well apart from the odd sheep peeping at you through the hedge. The location is very peaceful with a nature reserve about 5 minutes walk away. It is situated about half way between Swansea and Cardiff. The Brecon Beacons are also quite close and there is a deer park around 20 minutes drive away with plenty to see and many walks of varying difficulties. I stayed for a week and I still didn't have time to do everything I wanted to do. I returned home completely relaxed having had a great time. I would definitely return given the chance. I can't recommend it highly enough. Susan M (September 2016)
