The home was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Mr Jackson (April 2019)
Just had 3 nights here with 3 friends. It’s a bright, airy upside down property, with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor and the 3rd bedroom (en suite) on the first floor, along with the open plan lounge, kitchen, diner. The property is extremely well appointed and it was great to be able to park the car in the garage and not need to use it for the whole weekend as it is just a few minutes stroll from the city centre. Really helpful owners and property manager. If you want a spacious, central property I would definitely recommend St Mary’s Hill. Angela M (December 2018)
The photos don’t sell how nice the space is and seem outdated. We would definitely visit again. Miss Howard (December 2018)
Photos need updating to show the new dining area. Mrs Morris (December 2018)
5minutes from the centre of town with many eateries all within walking distance.Close to the river with a pleasant walk along it's banks, again with many places to eat or drink on the way.The main bonus is it has a garage so parking ,which is a nightmare in town, is no problem at all. Mr Ferrier (October 2018)
Great equipment. Mr Kylian (September 2018)
We particularly appreciated the spacious fridge/freezer and empty cupboard space in the kitchen, the powerful walk-in shower in the ensuite bedroom, the large tv/dvd, the beautiful stained glass mural in the dining area. Our Sportage just fitted into the garage - what a blessing to have parking in Chester! We had a little difficulty on arrival opening the key safe but were able to phone the cleaner who arrived and helped us out. We felt that the information provided in the house about using equipment and various services eg hot water/heating & recycling was not always very easy to understand. Despite a few niggles like having no bath mats provided and suffering an invasion of ants into the kitchen in the extremely hot weather, we found St Mary's Hill Cottage an excellent base for our holiday. Dr Mcintyre (June 2018)
Lovely spacious accommodation, comfy beds, everything there that we needed. Also great location. Short walk to centre. Would definitely stay there again if we come back to Chester. Elisha60 (May 2018)
A perfect location to explore all of Chester and parking too. Mrs Pulford (May 2018)
Grandchildren loved it. Very close to city, easy walk and PARKING! Would definitely choose again if we are ever that way. Mrs Radford (May 2018)
Would definitely stay here again if visiting Chester. Mrs Wood (March 2018)
Friendly and helpful owner. Lovely kitchen. Good sized garage - managed to get 2 family cars in with a bit of careful parking. Mrs Fowler (August 2017)
First stay in Chester which is so lovely to wander around and take in the history of the many lovely old buildings. Accomodation was really good, very spacious and bright, open plan living area which works really well. Would definately stay here again. Our younger family members that joined us for part of the stay were also impressed at central location and parking in garage. Every one we met in shops and restraunts were so friendly and seemed to actually enjoy their jobs and meeting people. 229Sue (March 2017)
We stayed here for a week in December and really enjoyed it.The house was lovely and had everything we needed ,it had parking and was a 2 minute walk from city centre where there are loads of bars and lovely restaurants. The owners are very nice and couldn't be more helpful. I would stay here again and would highly recommend it to others! BigJohn27 (December 2016)
