the garden was great for the children to play in and feeding the ducks was an extra experience for them. I would definitely return and recommend to my friends and colleagues Mrs adams (April 2019)
Close to Chester, everything provided that we needed. Mrs Hall (November 2018)
Some of the furnishings are a little dated. The double bed mattresses were extremely soft so much so you rolled into the middle and into your sleeping partner which did not make for a good nights sleep. The pillows were poor quality probably a value brand and despite the number of beds they were all the same. The cutlery was very poor and fragile due to the plastic handles an issue highlighted by the previous guests. The oven was also temperamental and kept going out you have to keep an eye on it Mr Logan (October 2018)
It was only 5 minutes to the bus stop .The bus took about 10 minutes to get into Chester which is a great city. The house had good facilities,4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable.A vey enjoyable weekend. Mrs Doyle (October 2018)
The gareden is very nice we loved it and the girls played or sat outside we would reccomend this house to any family. Mr Oakley (August 2018)
, the facilities were outstanding and it made a perfect base for family days out and of course relaxing in the fabulous garden. We would highly recommend Ross House which is extremely family friendly situated in a quiet area. Amenities are very close and the Chester /Cheshire area is a complete hub for attractions! Miss Cochrane (July 2018)
The house and location was perfect for our very young family. Would definitely recommend. Mr Cruickshank (June 2018)
House was great, plenty of room for the whole family and very central for everything we had to do. Really close to Chester zoo. Mrs Erskine (May 2018)
The house itself was very comfortable, and we were greeted with various food luxuries including popcorn and cookies which was a lovely gesture. We were a group of 8 and the house was spacious and comfortable to satisfy our needs - would highly recommend this listing to large groups. The large garden was an added bonus which we enjoyed very much. Would definitely return again - great value for money! Miss Jones (April 2018)
Lots of interesting places to visit even in the winter. The owners responded quickly to any small problems. Mrs Carr-de Avelon (December 2017)
Ideally suited for sightseeing etc. The house was comfortable and clean. The garden is beautifully kept and a joy to wander about.Would stay here again. Customer 11
Had a fantastic weekend with great friends. The house was exactly as described if not more. The garden is beautiful, although ,unfortunately ,we didn't have the weather to enjoy it. Even had ducks in the pond. The house is near to the city centre , in fact a nice walk away but you could catch public transport near to the property if you didn't fancy walking. The house is spacious and spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend this property . Customer 12
Perfect location in the city, close to everything, but a peaceful and quiet location at the same time. Very friendly owners/caretakers, nothing is trouble and they came immediately when I called them about the heating and they came and resolved/showed it on the spot. The children absolutely loved the big garden and the den! Thank you very much and we would like to come back at each opportunity again! :) Customer 13
