Once we chose which cottage we wanted to book, the booking process was simple. Mrs Hogan (October 2018)
Peaceful location, ideal location to tour the area. Host very helpful and friendly. I know your should not watch the clock when away on holiday but it would have been useful - this is just my opinion. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend. 331123456 (September 2018)

We stayed at this beautiful cottage for a week this April. We were met on arrival by Sue, who was very welcoming, pointing out areas of interest. The cottage itself was lovely, well presented and clean, everything we needed was there, a real home from home. My favourite room was the conservatory, enjoying breakfast whilst watching the birds.....fab. We would highly recommend this cottage, we will certainly try to stay there again when travelling to this area. lindasimpsonglynn (April 2017)
An overall lovely comfortable cottage Mr Bennett (March 2017)
Clean, cosy and very comfortable cottage. Spacious and bright conservatory to dine in, with lovely garden outlook. Good sized twin room - online photo bit deceptive. Lovely walks from the doorstep and lots of interesting local history to discover. Fantastic viewpoint from the top of the hill. Good family friendly pub across the road. Good base for sightseeing in North Wales. Had a great holiday and would highly recommend. Mr Hogan from Halifax (October 2016)

The cottage is a typical old Welsh cottage and was everything we hoped it would be. Very clean and tidy, the conservatory was especially good as was the garden. Cannot fault it, and it was reasonably priced. Mr Simm from Newport (September 2014)

This is a fantastic place to stay. The welcome we received from the owner was lovely. The cottage itself is gorgeous, comfortable rooms with everything that you might need. We especially enjoyed sitting in the conservatory overlooking the pretty back garden. There are some great walks in the countryside around the cottage and its easy to get to places of interest. The village pub is just across the road, with a very nice garden too. Highly recommend this place. A FlipKey verified reviewer (August 2014)
This is the second time we have visited this property and we love the quiet location. It is close to friends that we visit and is a good base from which to visit North Wales. The property is easy to find, clean and tidy and we found the conservatory and garden were a very pleasant sun trap. The owner was also there to greet us and gave some helpful recommendations of places to visit. We will definitely use this cottage again. Mrs Mckenzie from Bicester (July 2014)

This cottage is gorgeous and a great centre for getting to local places of interest. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and may visit again ourselves. Mrs Boardman from Taunton (May 2014)
The location was very quiet, the village pub which was just across the road was not noisy and we had a very pleasant meal there. The cottage was very comfortable, with plenty of cutlery and crockery. Extra blankets and pillows were available and plenty of clean towels are provided. A very pleasant cottage that we would recommend. We look forward to returning to this cottage in the future. Mrs Mckenzie from Bicester (March 2014)
Spent week staying in cottage and visiting family over Christmas. A lovely, clean, quiet cottage in a beautiful and ancient North Walian village. Fantastic walks and views on your doorstep. Great pub grub 50m away. Well appointed cottage with modern tasteful decor. Marks and Spencer food hall 15 minutes drive. It is a traditionally built 18th Century limestone cottage and despite very thick walls, double glazing and modern radiators it was at times a little slow to warm up. So bring slippers and dressing gowns in winter. grayee1962 (December 2013)
Everything was perfect! It could not have been improved upon. Our home away from home was the best ever, and the owner was fantastic. Mrs Berdahl (July 2013)
Lovely location in a quiet village. Mrs Harrington from Aberdeen (September 2012)
The fact that this was our seventh visit to Pen y Parc really says it all. It has everything you need in a top quality cottage. Mr Adams from St. Albans (September 2012)
The owner was so helpful and welcoming when we first arrived. The house was clean and well kept. We had everything we needed for our stay. The conservatory at the rear was a real bonus space. The kids loved the cottage and didn't want to go home at the end of the week. There is however a steep staircase that may not be ideal for people with mobility problems or families with very young children; but our 4 year old coped very well. The location was ideal. There is a quiet pub opposite that serves fantastic down to earth food at a great price. You can leave the front door of the cottage and do a wonderful circular route across the fields that gives you an amazing view of Prestatyn and the coast. It is also well placed to explore everything that this part of Wales has to offer. I didn't realise that there was so much to do! We would love to go back. A FlipKey verified reviewer (July 2012)
This was our 6th visit to Pen Y Parc. We continue to be impressed by the welcome we receive, the high quality and comfort of the cottage and the splendid location. What more can you ask. Mr Adams from St. Albans (October 2011)
This was a well equipped cottage full of character we really appreciated the spacious conservatory for meals and playing games etc. I loved the remoteness of the property and the local people were very friendly. The garden was large enough for my children to play in which was important to us. Pretatyn has a very friendly church called Calvary and the people were welcoming and very friendly this made our stay even more special A FlipKey verified reviewer (September 2011)

Some lovely walks around the village and great location for North Wales attractions. South facing enclosed garden. Good food at Eagle and Child pub opposite. Owner has thought of everything to make this cottage a delightful home from home - even candles and tealight holders. Mrs Jones from Rochdale (April 2011)
Very comfortable accomodation which was warm and cosy in the snow! Lovely local pub and friendly church. A great place to take walks from the door and enjoy the Welsh countryside. A FlipKey verified reviewer (February 2011)

cosy cottage in a beautiful location . great for touring north wales. A FlipKey verified reviewer (November 2010)
This cottage is ideally located, as long as you have a vehicle to get around. The countryside is beautiful and the townspeople are friendly. The cottage itself is beautiful - the owner has thought of all the small details and it is truly home away from home. The conservatory is wonder ful place to enjoy a meal, watching birds on the back lawn, or read a book. Stairway is quite steep but perfectly manageable. Caitlin Lacey (November 2010)
Arrived bit early & the owners were just finishing preparing property.they couldn't have been more welcoming. made us feel at home, gave us advice on best places to visit. The cottage itself was of a very high standard.clean well equipped and laid out. The location in the village was idyllic.plenty of peace & quiet and the neighbors couldn't have been more friendly. added to that the great pub across the road with good food at reasonable prices. would definitely recommend and hope to stay there again. A FlipKey verified reviewer (December 2009)
The cottage was great for a family holiday - the cottage was compact but had everything you needed and was very conmfortable. It was in a nice quiet location with a superb pub across the road with great take away food. There was plenty to do around the area - our children loved Chester Zoo and the Welsh Mountain Zoo. It was all great apart from the weather. Can't fault the service from Sykes cottages - very good value for money Thank you A FlipKey verified reviewer (December 2009)
