Cannot recommend enough; everything was very organised; lights & heating thoughtfully on in readiness for our evening arrival, gorgeous cosy cottage. You know when booking that it's small, but everything is so well organised, there's no compromise; good storage, kitchen stocked with everything needed, easy to quickly heat to cosiness, & the sofa/bed is easy to assemble & properly comfortable. & 11/10 for location! Private patio & beautiful shared garden, both right on the stream and in n amazing location down the glen; owner there if needed but left us to it, all very peaceful, really felt it was "ours" for the week. Miss Riches from Lancaster (October 2016)

Really loved the peaceful location of this property and the stunning scenery. The gardens were beautiful and it was a real place of peace and reflection. Loved sitting out one night listening to the stream going by and watching the bats, and a tawny owl coming down to land on the roof next to us before swooping down the stream out to sea was stunning. Miss Lightowler from Coalville (July 2016)
The cottage was a delightful gem and the location was excellent with great access to fantastic coastal walks and other quaint villages. Scenery is amazing with delightful hidden coves. Mr Sweeney from Fakenham (June 2016)
Exactly what it says on the tin, its rustic charm and fairy glen location is charming. The owner was very helpful and it had everything we needed, even WiFi! Perfect for a close to nature romantic break. Mr Burden from Biggleswade (June 2015)
Exactly what you expect, Rustic little cottage very cosy and clean ideal for twoo on a romantic break. Absolutely loved this place and its location in a little glen alongside a babbling brook, waterfall and pretty gardens. Had all we needed and wifi! NoGearsRob (June 2015)
This is the cutest little cottage for 2 people who like to get cosy. Set in idyllic woodland, it has a secluded sun-trap patio behind. From the delightful garden, you can walk through to a footpath which joins the main path to St Nectan's Glen. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. The whole area is stunning and, after a full day of coastal footpath walking, it was a privilege to return to a tranquil and beautiful setting. Ms Whiteside from Salisbury (April 2015)
On seeing the cottage for the first time it looked delightful. The owner, Roger, gave us a warm welcome and was most helpful. The cottage is small but has lots of charm, it is a shame that the weather wasn't kinder enabling us to sit in the lovely patio. The only down side was the shower wasn't very strong but that was no real problem. We walked through one of the gardens to St Nectan's Glen, the going was harder due to the rain but we came to a café and had a welcome cuppa. We then paid £7.00 to go down to the waterfall, we were the only ones there and it was a place of such peace and calm we thought the money was well spent. There is another long walk from the cottage through Rocky Valley, so glad we did it. The walk to the nearest restaurant is not one I would like to do in the evening, we felt that a car was needed. We had to come home early for personal reasons but we have many happy memories and photos of our holiday in the little cottage. WiltshireDaisy (August 2014)
Very quiet and peaceful, and a very picturesque setting. An ideal setting for artists, and for anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Mrs Inman from Ramsgate (June 2014)
Lovely week in beautiful little 1 room cottage totally idyllic with gorgous surroundings. We were left to our own devices and had a much needed peaceful week. Ideally situated between Tintagel and Boscastle, we had some lovely walks too including up to St Nectans Glen. A FlipKey verified reviewer (December 2013)
Peace and tranquility in lovely accommodation for two with stream running at side and in beautiful surroundings, couldn't fault it. Mr Harding from Stamford (September 2013)
A very good base from which to access Cornwall's attractions and scenery. Mr Ingram from Basildon (September 2013)
The cottage was lovely, and the surroundings were very peaceful and beautiful with lots of walks. We enjoyed it all very much! Mr Towny from Lancaster (June 2013)
Easy walking distance to St. Nectans Glen , Rocky Valley and Bossiney Haven made this quaint little Millhouse Idyllic for a fuss free break. The towns of Boscastle and Tintagel were only a few mins. away. A Holiday Lettings verified reviewer (November 2012)
It was in a peaceful location and having the water flowing outside the cottage was a lovely feature to the place. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. Ms Call from Basingstoke (September 2012)
This lovely cottage is prefect for couples wanting a romantic getaway. A FlipKey verified reviewer (September 2012)
Location is fabulous, very peaceful, easy access to the seaside and forest. The stream at the back of the property was particularly appreciated, great background noise! Miss Ray from London (August 2012)
This really is a charming little cottage. The sofa-bed was more comfortable than our own bed at home. The location next to the millstream is lovely and it is well situated for walks to Tintagel. The owner/manager was very friendly. Mrs Hughes from Hampton (July 2012)
The cottage was situated in beautiful surroundings. The private drive leading to the Halgabron Mill cottages ensured peace and quiet. The woodland walk, accessed through the owners property to St. Nectan's Glen was lovely. A beautiful waterfall can be observed for free at Bossiney Cove, just a 10 minute walk from Millstream Cottage! Overall my wife and myself thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage and the picturesque coastal walks, so much so that we have already provisionally booked the same cottage for a week in early June next year. Mr Ebelthite from Spalding (June 2012)
The cottage and surrounding were very peaceful and beautiful. Mrs Wormulls from Colchester (August 2011)
Gorgeous location, peaceful and tranquil and would highly recommend this property. Ms Lawford from Milton Keynes (July 2011)
We already filled in a reveiw and sent it by post. But here we go again. The service we received was very good. We loved the home and the location was beautiful. The fridge was too small and we would have liked more storagespace for shoes and wardrobe. The bed was sagging in the middle. We loved the small round little cottage and its situation. The service was good and we would recommend the cottage to our friends. A FlipKey verified reviewer (December 2009)
This little mill is a unique and cosy place to stay. The surrounding woods, the great garden, the little stream and the nearby sea create a beautiful atmosphere. Everything is very well prepared and lovely. hoch2 (December 2009)
The place was how described and exactly what we were looking for. Surrounded by the gardens and the woods, and also being close to Tintagel, the Coastal path and other nice places to visit, we really enjoyed our stay. A FlipKey verified reviewer (December 2009)
A brilliant place to stay. The enclosed setting is superb. I am Disabled and found everything close at hand and user friendly. The only negative point is the Fridge, or lack of freezer space. The out buildings have a washing machine and T/Dryer and there is more than enough room for a small chst freezer. That would be excellent and would not have to worry about buying fresh meat etc., Storage would not be a problem as there is only Mill stream Cottage and two other houses. I can't see a problem with putting ones food in a bag/box with ones name on it. Apart from that then the cottage is wonderful. A pure haven of peacefullness and tranquility. We love it. Local amenities are good. Mary (December 2009)
