It felt as though everything had been designed to make things as easy for me as possible, right through from initial booking to the end of the holiday. I was impressed. Dr Goddard from Shipley (December 2016)
The house was tiny, and cosy, and perfect for two. The village was fairly quiet and the locals we met were nice. It's in my favourite part of Wales, and an easy drive from Betws-y-Coed. A lovely relaxing break. Dr Merry from Ystrad Meurig (March 2016)
The cottage was a very relaxing place to stay, with lots of things to do nearby. We really enjoyed the wood burner, which added to the nice cosy feel of the cottage. Mrs Howard from Morecambe (October 2015)
It was a fantastic location - so quiet, beautiful, relaxing and peaceful, but not too far from Betws-y-Coed (ten minute drive). Lovely pub next door. The cottage itself was snug and cosy, perfect for a weekend for two. Loved the wood burner - lovely touch. Miss Cunningham from Manchester (November 2014)
This is a lovely cottage. We loved the balcony- a little sun trap. We would stay their again it was nice and cosy. Mr Valli from Iver Heath (September 2014)
The cottage was warm, lovely and cosy although a bit dark. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bathroom modern with spacious hot shower and fluffy big towels. Sunny small wooden balcony late afternoon off the bedroom. The village is very quiet, no shop or restaurant but Bets-y-Coed is 10 minutes drive away and lively. Great location if you want a quiet holiday, easy access to plenty of great walks and places of interest. Mrs Ellaway from Orpington (June 2014)
The cottage was warm and cosy and the kitchen very well equipped. Lovely peaceful location. Mrs Seaton from Brighton (June 2014)
We found the property to be comfortable, very clean and with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. There were some nice touches, plenty of wood for the fire, lots of local brochures. Very friendly landlord, with notes to keep us informed. Attractive patio and good kitchen facilities. The cottage is well placed for exploring, and although let for 2 it felt very spacious. Mr Lindner from Wells (October 2013)
The location was wonderful, within easy reach of all the places of interest. The cottage was cosy and very comfortable in the quiet village of Penmachno. The people were friendly and helpful. I would certainly return to the cottage and the area. Mrs Waterfield from Coalville (October 2013)
Cosy cottage in lovely situation. Ms Diggens from Milton Keynes (September 2013)
Spent a week in the Llannerch, loved everything about it. It was spotless and had nice up to date furniture with a nice new kitchen. Found the locals to be friendly and the village was great. Found loads to do within a short distance of the cottage so location was excellent. Came with free WIFI which although the signal did not reach the balcony it did cover the rest of the cottage with good speed. I would highly recommend the Llannerch to any one, it was great value. I hope to stay again in the future. Adam O (July 2013)
Beautiful cottage in a quiet little village. Great facilities and really homely. Miss Cunningham from Sheffield (June 2013)
Brilliant location for quiet break within easy access of local towns. Owner was great. Loved it. Mr Jones from Warwick (April 2013)
Very sweet little cottage in a lovely part of Wales. Miss Hudson from London (March 2013)
Clean, cosy cottage in a nice location with lots of good walks close by and within easy reach of attractions such as Portmereion and Ffestiniog Railway. Mr Beales from Wellington (November 2012)
The cottage was cosy and well-equipped. Mr Taylor from Wakefield (September 2012)
It is a lovely quiet village, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The cottage is very homely, well equipped, and would be comfortable and warm in any season. It is a lovely situation, in a very quiet, peaceful valley, yet the more touristy parts of Snowdonia are within easy reach. It is in a lovely area for walking or cycling from the cottage itself. Mr Hepworth from Shrewsbury (June 2012)
The cottage was lovely and the owners were friendly and helpful. Miss Duffett from London (October 2011)
The cottage was in a small village where it was very quiet and we made the most of it. The views around and about were absolutely fantastic. Ms Barrett from Nottingham (September 2011)
Llannerch is a lovely little clean cottage. Open plan with log fire; a lttle dark perhaps - but that is the way these cottages are. It was cleaner than expected and fitted to very high standard. No chintz which we thought was great. The location is great with Betws-y-Coed only a 10 minute drive away. Walking was good directly from the Cottage into the woods to the west of Penmachno. Great mountain biking is to be had here, too. The main road through Penmachno is actually a cul-de-sac so there isn't much traffic through the village. Although quite a bit of what there is seems to go up past the Cottage to the riding stables some miles away. Unexpectedly Wifi was available via the pub's wireless router. The owner was very freindly and helpful and I would be glad to return. A FlipKey verified reviewer (September 2011)
Lovely cottage in peaceful surroundings. Perfect base for touring North Wales. Mr Boyle from Carluke (August 2011)
A wonderful location. A welcoming host. Especially explore the "back roads". Mr MacKay from Seattle (July 2011)
A very peaceful, quiet location, and a very private property. Mr Bland from Newport (June 2011)
The owners were most hospitable and helpful. The views from the garden balcony are lovely. Ms Wells from Prestatyn (May 2011)
The perfect place to relax and get away from every day life. Mrs Murray from Folkestone (February 2011)
In terms of the accommodation it was first class, nice and peaceful, would go there again. Open fire was nice. Mr Ferdenzi from London (February 2011)
The cottage was just what we wanted, a romantic hideaway for our wedding anniversary, very clean, everything we needed was there, they even found us an ice bucket for our bubbly! The owners were very friendly and helpful. The locals are friendly when you see them, which is not very often, which is nice if you want the privacy, which we did. Betws y Coed has the most fantastic places to eat, not cheap, but not over priced if you go to the right places. The owners and locals will recommend the best places, taxi service was great but make sure you get the local one from Betws Y Coed, they are great and very reasonable, there is only one firm based there. The other taxi firms are from further afield and charge extra for coming out to the village. All in all a fabulous weekend!!! The only quibble we had was the floorboards outside the bathroom were a bit flimsy and bouncy, but we just got used to stepping over them, and in the living area they have two very comfy chairs, we would have preferred a two seater sofa to snuggle up on, in front of the fabulous fireplace with log burner! Will definately stay again!!! Wonderful!!! Plenty of activities too with mountain bike trail just around the corner. Mollymoss (January 2011)
The holiday was very good, it was a nice place to get away from it all. Very peaceful, great holiday if you want to just relax. Mrs Diplock from Poole (November 2010)
We thoroughly enjoyed out stay in the very picturesque village of Penmachno, just outside Betws-y-Coed. Plenty to see and do in the area. Cottage was small but very well equipped. There was a pub nearby serving meals and a cafe. The village does not have a shop and parking is limited, although no great problem. A FlipKey verified reviewer (December 2009)
