Overall enjoyed our stay, was only let down by a couple of little issues such as the shower only dispensing either really cold or really hot water. Mr Porritt (November 2017)
Really well equipped cottage, had everything I needed to cook for and host a dinner for half a dozen old friends. Also perfect enclosed safe back garden, plus a dog friendly kitchen floor. Will certainly book again. Mrs Byford (October 2017)
very warm and comfortable cottage - everything provided you could wish for - village shops excellent and people very friendly - would recommend this very highly Mrs Flood (October 2017)
The property was very well equipped with everything you needed. Very clean and welcoming. Very dog friendly as garden was enclosed. It was a nice relaxing break. Mrs Newbon (May 2017)
We stayed in this delightful cottage over the Christmas period and were amazed at how beautifully it was decorated, even Christmas crackers were supplied. It is very well equipped with everything you would need for a stay. We took our two dogs so the garden was a bonus. The log fire made it for us as it was cold and frosty outside so we huddled around the fire. We paid a visit to Holt which is only a short drive away, a very quaint village with nice shops. Overall a very Happy Christmas break. Brenda C (December 2016)
Great cottage. Really well equipped. Within easy reach of Holt,Blakeney, wells & Cromer. Loved the open fire. Good selection of games, books and DVDs Lovely well kept garden We booked as a group of girlfriends so did not mind having to access the second room through the main bedroom but might be an issue for couples. We loved the fact that low season we could book Wednesday to Saturday and at £60 per person could not fault the value for money Would definitely stay again Mrs Harvey from Braintree (November 2016)
If you do not know the area and you are relying on a Sat Nav (SN) the SN takes you the lanes way, which can be very narrow. We know Norfolk relatively wel,l but still got lost a couple of times. Mrs Hodkin from Sheffield (September 2016)
If you are looking for a real character cottage this is for you. From the wooden beams in the living room to the enormous fireplace it really was an absolute treat to stay here this week.Enclosed well maintained garden, fantastic if you have pets. There wasnt anything more we could have asked for .Hollyhedge cottage is well located for you to discover the beauty that lies within Norfolk. Wroxham Broads def worth a visit and Sheringham Park. Definitely give the Hunnybell restaurant a visit (5 mins) by car.Great atmosphere, location and desserts were to die for! :) Only 1 thing I would say is if anyone has trouble climbing stairs then the single room on ground floor is more suited.Other than that we didn't want to leave! Ann S (August 2016)
The cottage was in a central position for Thursford, Sherringham and Cromer. The garden was fully-enclosed if you have a dog and the wooden beams, the rope to pull you up the steep curved stairs and the large wood burner all added to the feel and comfort of the cottage. Mr Banks from Nottingham (November 2015)
The cottage was excellent and without doubt one of the best we have stayed in. We particularly liked the summerhouse but the accommodation, overall, was superb. Everything possible was provided and there is nothing, whatsoever, that we could complain about. The location is also first class for exploring the north Norfolk coast. Wells, Holkham (Hall and Bay), Blakeney, Holt, Sheringham and Cromer are all in easy reach. Mr Fosker from Colchester (April 2015)
Hollyhedge Cottage provided us with the perfect country escape. A beautifully maintained cottage with everything we needed and more. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in and the open fire created a lovely relaxed atmosphere to spend time as a family. We will definitely be returning! Miss Mitchell from Leicester (January 2015)
A beautiful cottage in a lovely village. The open fire, oak beams and higgledy-piggledy layout are just great and what you expect to get from a little English cottage. Reminded me of the cottage from the film 'The Holiday' Miss Abrames from Sheffield (December 2014)
The cottage was quaint in a small quiet village. It had a lovely atmosphere which was what we were looking for. Mrs Wells from York (November 2014)
Really cosy cottage, with many traditional features. We had a really relaxing stay. Mr Sale from London (October 2014)
The cottage is really home from home, a credit to the owners. The cottage is lovely, location is excellent and the butchers, bakers & convenience store provide all you need for a lovely stay. Highly recommend! Mrs Barnes from Skipton (October 2014)
Well located and well-equipped cosy cottage which is very dog-friendly. Mr Warde from Stafford (October 2014)
A good central location for touring north Norfolk. A very good range of local facilities within the village itself. A truly enclosed/escape proof garden for our Border Terrier. A very cosy cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and our first visit to Norfolk. Mr Button from Didcot (September 2014)
We loved the cottage. It was a home-from-home and we felt very comfortable there. It was also a little bit quirky, which suits us.The beaches we visited were fantastic. Mrs Swindells from York (August 2014)
We stayed a week here in June, an absolutely wonderful cottage everything you need. The garden made it for me, and Briston was a lovely village too, we will come again. A FlipKey verified reviewer (August 2014)

The cottage was cute, cosy, comfortable and clean! The kitchen was very well equipped, the standard of the tolls was excellent. The facilities within the village were excellent, everyone was very friendly. We enjoyed the use of the garden and summerhouse, the plants were well tended. Great cottage - great time! Mrs Moeller from Biggleswade (March 2014)
It was the most beautiful place with everything you could want; we especially liked the log fire. Near to everything from shops to the sea. Holt was amazing and only 15mins away. Can't wait to go back again! Mrs Parris from Leicester (February 2014)
We just loved it because of quirkiness, and we like old properties. It gave us what we wanted, which was perfect. Mr Yarnold-forrester from Stevenage (November 2013)
