The owners were very accommodating and friendly. The barn is cosy and had all you need. It is in a lovely location with amazing views and a good base for some great places to visit-Dovedale, Chatsworth House, Bakewell etc...only a short drive away. Mrs Hinsley (August 2018)
I THINK THIS NEEDS TO BE MADE CLEAR to people booking the property as it is frankly not suitable for a holiday let especially in summer. Those of us with no experience of using one of these do not realise the difficulties. It takes a long time to get to heat and leaves you with a VERY hot kitchen for several hours. The temperature is not defined. It was impossible to do the quick cooked breakfast I had planned for the children before they went out on an activity day. There is a lot to do in the surrounding areas, for all age ranges. The owners were very friendly without being intrusive. I would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage and this part of the world to others looking for a break away from their routine. Mrs Mcclay (March 2018)
Photos don't do it justice! It was so much more spacious and cosier than we expected! The owner was very helpful and responsive.
