Me and my partner and our 2children went for a four day stay in this lovely little cottage and we had a great time there! The cottage is about 20 mins drive from the Snowdonia Mountain and we couldn't have asked for a better place then this! It had everything we needed from kitchen utensils, the lovely bedroom and the living area, it was lovely and cosy! I would highly recommend this place to anyone for a lovely little get a away! Not to forget my kids loved the lovely view from the bedroom ... Sabina Y (November 2017)
This is our second stay at Damavand. It is excellent value for money and ideally located for the local attractions in North Wales. Mrs Flanders (October 2017)
My partner and I loved our stay at Damavand. The cottage is surrounded by fields and sheep, and the views are absolutely stunning. There is a nice big window by the dining table which adds romance to each meal time. The cottage had everything we needed, however the internet ran out after one day which was disappointing. There are supermarkets and a variety of amazing restaurants in Caernarfon which is only a 15 minute drive away. I was sad to leave and would definitely love to stay again. _abiex (September 2017)
Great place very relaxing stay with good facilities. Plenty of space inside and in a very pretty area with lovely views. Easy access with supermarket close by and convenient. Friendly local farmer and local people. Miss Clent (September 2017)
Gorgeous cottage, would definitely recommend Miss Taylor-Spencer (September 2017)
I booked this holiday as a romantic weekend for my sons honeymoon, He stated that the cottage was in a beautiful location and had everything they needed, Very peaceful Miss Hamer from Preston (November 2016)
the cottage was lovely and idealy placed for a nice quiet holiday Mr Cook from Leeds (September 2016)
The peaceful location and being able to do what we wanted, when we wanted to do it. The property was of a high standard and well-serviced - we would recommend it for either a quiet holiday or as a central base for exploring the surrounding area. Mrs Lello from Chelmsford (August 2014)
The cottage was just as described and a lovely home from home. Mrs Sansom from Mansfield (June 2014)
The cottage was perfect, it was like a home from home. Absolutely perfect. Thank you! Miss Ridley from Cardiff (February 2014)
The accommodation was really comfortable and homely. It is located about a 10-15 minute drive outside Caernarfon with views of the sea. The directions provided were spot -on and we did not have any trouble finding the accommodation, even in the dark. The living accommodation was spotless and well equipped. Would recommend and stay again. Miss Summers from Birmingham (December 2013)
The cottage was very warm and pleasant to spend time in. The area has much to offer to the tourist; National Trust properties, walks and small towns to visit. Mrs Thomas from Lancaster (October 2013)
Beautiful setting and very peaceful. Would stay again! Mr Skinner from Brecon (April 2013)

lovely quiet peaceful place with great views. The caretaker was very helpful and friendly. All in all a lovely place to stay if you want a nice relaxing holiday. The décor and furniture were modern and up to date. We didn't want to leave but unfortunately we had too. We would go again. Ms Daly from Manchester (October 2012)
A lovely little place in a very remote spot but within easy reach of the shops and facilities. The kitchen and dining area were fantastic and very clean. Waking up to the sound of sheep bleating and birds singing in the fields around the cottage was something I found very appealing. Mr Whitfield from Blackpool (September 2012)
Very comfortable stay with good facilities for example the dishwasher was a bonus considering the good value for a week in the summer months. Plenty of space insi and in a very pretty area with lovely views. Easy access back onto main roads with supermarket close by and convenient for tourist attractions. The rough track to the cottage was certainly 'rough' for low profile tyres so be aware of that.Loved being surrounded by the sheep and got to see them being sheared and friendly local farmer and local people. Tv and mobile reception fine too, amazingly for Wales. A FlipKey verified reviewer (September 2012)
The beautiful landscape of Wales. All services have reached our expectations. Thank you for the perfect service. Mr Vgol (August 2012)
The setting was beautiful and you could see mountains and the sea from the property. We loved being by the sheep and watching them be sheared, and we waved to and saw the farmers often. Great access onto roads and to supermarkets. The facilities were generally very good and there was plenty of space in Damavand. We had a very peaceful sleep in a comfortable bed, and the dishwasher was a bonus luxury considering the great price for a week during the summer. Excellent overall value, a great base for a holiday. Mrs Roe from Stafford (July 2012)
The cottage was lovely. Mrs Walters from Cardiff (June 2012)
A beautiful property and area. Property was well presented, clean and tidy. Very comfortable bed. Kitchen was above expectations with everything needed and brilliant cooking facilities. Overall a great holiday and I would return! Miss Maher from Cardiff (May 2012)
Fantastic furnishings, very up to date inside the property. Fantastic views of the surrounding rural countryside and our children were very happy to be guided in by a sheep whom they named Dino the Tour Guide! Only 4 miles from Caernarfon, small local shop within walking distance. Fantastic holiday and will look forward to coming to Damavand again! Mrs Price from Runcorn (January 2012)
Damavand was a great place for a break! The apartment was very modern with everything we needed. It was far enough into the countryside to be away from everything and peaceful yet only ten minutes or so drive to the shops if needed. We had a great time! Mr Robinson from Heywood (November 2011)
Nice break in the middle of nowhere. Exactly what we were looking for, a cottage with modern furnishing. Good walk up Snowdon. Mr Harling from Southampton (November 2011)
On arrival at the property, we were greeted by the owners father, who was on hand to ensure that we could gain access to the property and answer any questions that we had. On entering the property we were pleasantly surprised with the standard of the accommodation and the interior and fittings. The property was also very child friendly and we would definitely consider stopping here again and recommending to friends. Mrs Sharrock from Northampton (October 2011)
A beautiful, clean, contemporary, apartment in a stunning location with sea and mountain views. A great place to unwind. We thoroughly enjoyed our break, so much so that we are thinking of returning and have recommended to friends and family. Mrs Hill from Bridgwater (September 2011)
The decor of the property, the location and the price. The fixtures and fittings were really good. Mr Rowe from Colchester (August 2011)
Damavand was bigger than expected and in a really peaceful situation. There were some spectacular sunsets to watch over the sea. You could not hear a sound at night and it was the best sleep I have had in years! It's very close to Anglesey which was the area we most wanted to explore. Mrs Ellis from Diss (July 2011)
Damavand is in a lovely quiet location with wonderful mountain and sea views. It's an ideal base for touring the North Wales area. The cottage is very comfortable and we had a lovely relaxing break. Mrs Owen from Ludlow (March 2011)
It was in a remote area but close enough to Caernarfon. A beautiful area with stunning views. It is the first time that we have used Sykes and we hope to use them again. Mrs Whittle from Chorley (October 2010)
Very quiet and secluded location with brilliant views, yet close to amenities and attractions. Mr Armstrong from Spennymoor (September 2010)
This property could not have exceeded our expectations more. It was very clean and had every detail covered, welcoming bottle of wine being the icing on the cake. We wanted a relaxing away from everything holiday and had just that. Lots of places close by yet complete serenity when at the cottage. I would recommend this to anyone and would definately go back or try their properties in the lakes as I know we would not be disappointed. The Morris#&39;s (September 2010)
