It was very close to local shops with good access to buses and the railway station. Tony was very accommodating and in frequent contact to check that we knew where everything was.Although there is not a garden the cottage is situated on a small secluded pathway with colourful garden seats which would have been put to good use had the weather been kinder. Chester is a lovely city with easy access to attractions further afield but also plenty to see in the immediate facility. We would ... Mr Staples (March 2019)
Central location but quiet. Tony, the owner, meets you and explains the parking. His communication prior to arrival and during the stay is first class. If you need assistance Tony is available. The cottage has a pleasant light and airy feel. It is well maintained and equipped. The facilities are of a high standard. The Sykes photos are an accurate representation of the property. The bed is comfortable and an excellent shower. Recommended. Mr Powell (February 2019)
Lovely, cosy cottage. The owner was available by phone for any queries we had. Mr Fisher (January 2019)
it was excellent. Tony who manages the property was so helpful and accessible. A standard has been set for others to reach. Mr Middleton (December 2018)
Warm welcome, clear directions and parking instructions. Well equipped, very clean and what a treat to have a walk-in shower and bath. Owner on hand to answer queries, highly recommend. Two minutes from Chester centre. Joanna K (October 2018)
Tony was very helpful and readily accessible. Mr Lovell (October 2018)
The position of the cottage, 2 minutes walk from the centre of Chester, was perfect. Very quiet despite being so close to the centre. I didn’t use my car all week, and used public transport instead, which was easily accessible. Cottage was very comfortable and warm, and I would have liked to have had the bathroom and kitchen in my own home. The weather was great all week, and there is so much to see and do in Chester and the surrounding area. Mrs Watts (October 2018)
Well equipped property with no fussy unnecessary stuff. Beautifully clean and what a treat to have walk-in shower and bath. Two minutes from centre. All in all really lovely. Ms Kinnaird (October 2018)
Nice, safe location to visit Chester and Liverpool. Highly recommended !!! Mr Watts (October 2018)
The location is excellent, minutes from major stores and close to bus and train stations. Mr Robinson (September 2018)
The cottage is fitted out to a high standard and was very clean. There is loads to do and see in Chester and the cottage was central to all amenities. Parking was in an identified spot only a short distance from the cottage. Mrs Lowder (September 2018)
The close proximity of the cottage to the middle of Chester was great, but was still in a quiet setting. Close parking was a bonus, and buses and trains were easily accessible if needed. The cottage was finished to a high specification and spotlessly clean. Would certainly recommend. Mrs Marsh (September 2018)

Lovely cottage in quiet area only a few minutes walk from shops, historical sights, and bus station. We highly recommend this property. We left our car in the parking space and walked around the town. Only used the bus to visit the zoo and Liverpool. Stuart B (August 2018)

It was well located - only 2 minutes walk from the main high street in Chester - and a supermarket virtually on the doorstep. The owner met us on arrival and was very friendly and welcoming. Only one thing missing in the kitchen - a tea pot! A very enjoyable week. We will definitely recommend to friends and family. Mr Chewins (July 2018)
It is highly recommended. Ms Green (July 2018)
Excellent rail and bus links to places of interest and the racecourse was within walking distance. Loads to see and do in and around Chester and a safe parking space for the car a few yards away from the cottage. Large Tesco and Boots across the road for daily essentials but cottage is in a very quiet location. A great place to visit and explore. Geoff and Jacky, stayed June 2018 Mrs Walker (June 2018)
Location was perfect for visiting the city. Minor niggle with parking that was quickly sorted. All in all a great cottage in a quiet setting and a brilliant location Mr Ferguson (June 2018)

Parked the car upon arrival and did not move it until we left. The cottage is finished to a very high standard and is credit to the owner. In short, a perfect cottage, perfectly located. We will definitely return. Mr Clark (April 2018)

My Uncle & Auntie are currently staying there. I went to visit them & had a look around. I have to say it was immaculate & very modern. Great for access to City centre which takes about 3 minutes to walk to. Great access to Tesco & Boots chemist. Car parking space is allocated for you.l would highly recommend this cottage. yvonnej1959 (March 2018)

Ideal location for shopping and sight-seeing. Very well equipped with high-quality fixtures and fittings - especially the bathroom and kitchen. Perfect for a couple looking for a private escape but within very easy reach of all local amenities and attractions. caravanna (January 2018)
Lovely house located right in the centre of Chester, tucked away in a nice quiet side street. Perfect for exploring Chester by foot and attractions such as the zoo were just a 10 minute drive away. Owner was easy to contact and friendly. Would have been five stars if the parking was a bit closer and a few more kitchen utensils. If we visited Chester again, would definitely stay here. Matthew S (November 2017)
