An absolutely superb property with amazing views and unspoiled countryside all around. The house is finished to a very high spec and the hot tub on the deck outside where we could relax and watch/listen to the nature all around was just perfect! Mr Naylor (May 2016)

Stunning scenery, beautiful barn conversion all ultra modern conveniences, wonderful hot tub, total seclusion, privacy and peaceful. Great walks right on your doorstep, Bishops Castle is a quaint town, recommend the circular walk around the town Mrs Nieman (March 2016)
The barn was immaculate, with added gadgets to make it feel even more special. The beds were really comfortable. Lots of books and games provided in case you want to stay in. The views were breathtaking. We can't rate this place highly enough. Ms Monkman (March 2016)
The hosts were exceptional. The facilities of the barn were amazing. The cleanliness was immaculate. However, the best feature by far was the scenery. Amazing. Mr Newton (January 2016)
Idyllic surroundings, beautiful barn, lovely hot tub and excellent hosts. Mr Boulton (December 2015)
What a fabulous find this barn conversion is. This 5 star barn sits in secluded splendour less than a mile away from the pretty Bishops Castle town. The barn is top spec throughout and we (Gina my wife and Bailey our 8 year old daughter) were impressed from the minute we saw it. Tim (the owner) is a great host and made us all very welcome. The barn is full of gadgets (I'll let you find out for yourself) and is extremely clean and well looked after. The barn will easily accommodate 4 and is very spacious. The setting is beautiful with far reaching uninterrupted views on your doorstep and great walks into town via a public footpath. The top of the range hot tub was a real winner with all of us and really does give the barn, and indeed the whole stay, the WOW factor. The WiFi connection was fast but mobile phone reception was a bit hit and miss (who cares!!). If you decide to stroll into town the castle hotel does great sandwiches between 12 and 2:30pm and apparently the dinner menu is good too. The Co-op is fine for essential supplies and relatively cheap compared to other small local chains in neighbouring villages. We would highly recommend a stay at the barn- it's ideal for anyone who likes a bit of luxury in beautiful surroundings to recharge the batteries without breaking the bank. We really felt at home and it's not often you can say that after a few days away.......We'll definitely be back!!! Byron, Gina and Bailey 461byron1969 (October 2015)
If I could of stayed longer I would of this barn is outstanding it's to a very high standard in a beautiful location the owner is very welcoming which makes the stay even more special. Alimeth (August 2015)
We have just returned from our stay at the barn and we are sad to be home! What an amazing place, finished to the highest standard and not a single detail has been missed. The owner, Tim, was very welcoming upon our arrival and showed us around, explaining all the gadgets in the barn and how they worked. All very impressive! The views outside are truly stunning and enjoying them from the hot tub was just perfect! The surrounding area is full of beautiful scenery too, in which we enjoyed some great walks. Surrounding villages and towns also very nice and we had a lovely meal at The Castle Hotel in Bishops Castle itself. If you are thinking about booking a stay at the barn, do it! We can't recommend highly enough! 19ant (July 2015)
A first class barn conversion with everything and more than you could hope for. Perfect for staying with friends and family. we had great weather which showed off the beautiful surroundings - especially from the hot tub! Michelle B (June 2015)
Welcomed on arrival by the owner Tim who guided us around the barn and all its features. The barn has been renovated to a very high standard and set in a beautiful location wth amazing panaramic views. The hot tub was a great feature and used in the evening to enjoy the views and stars with a little drop of vino. Bishops Castle is well equiped for food and drink with 2 local breweries in the town. Lots of local towns and villages to visit both for the history and facilities. Mrs Sandra M (June 2015)
Stayed at the bishops castle barn for 3 days. We wanted somewhere to get away from it all and that's exactly what we got. Stunning views and relaxation. Upon on arrival we were greeted by the owner Tim who was very welcoming, who showed us around the cottage and told all that we needed to know about where to eat and drink of an evening. Overall the cottage has been reconstructed to the highest of standards with your very own hot tub! I would without a doubt recommend this cottage! Lisapelham6 (May 2015)
Beautiful cottage in a fantastic location with stunning views. A nice little village with some lovely pubs for food and drink especially if you like your real ales! The cottage is designed to a very high standard. Lovely to wake in a morning to the sheep and their lambs outside your door ....very cute. The owners were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The hot tub was amazing, especially in the evening whilst enjoying a glass of wine under the stars. We will definitely be returning and have already booked our next visit..... We cannot wait. Gemma W (May 2015)
This place is absolutely stunning and I will be recommending to all my friends and family. The hot tub was fabulous and the views were out of this world, will definetly be returning in the future. laurenlozzie14 (May 2015)
We had the absolute privilege of being the first guests to stay at Bishop's Castle Barn and I can honestly say it was perfect in every possible way. The location is stunning, the barn is beautiful, every possible need of guests has been thought of and the hosts were so hospitable, kind, friendly and professional that you would think they had been in the business for years. Within the barn itself you have extra little touches that make it incredibly special - a digital frame showcasing photographs of the barn's refurbishment, FreeSat, DVD player, and a docking station for your music. Add to that the bathroom mirrors which are also Bluetooth capable so you can listen to your music in the shower and we were blown away. Outside, the hot tub sits on a raised deck with views over the countryside surrounding you (including the visiting neighbourly sheep!) and of a nighttime, you can relax in the hot tub looking up at the night sky as there is no light pollution at all. I have been back from the barn for a few days now and I honestly miss it so much. I can't wait to go back and will definitely be returning later this year. I can't recommend this place enough - BOOK BOOK BOOK!! Penny F (April 2015)
Lovely barn conversion with everything completed to a wonderfully high standard. Attention to detail throughout is stunning in every respect with everything you could possibly need including demisting mirrors in the bathrooms! Views around the property are stunning and the pictures dont do justice to what the eyes actually see... Severals ways to get down to the village where there are a couple of places to get food and drink however we did prefer to stay at the cottage, sit on the deck while enjoying the views with the bbq. Definately recomend the property! Steve A (April 2015)
