During your holiday you can visit the Beamish Museum - which looks at Northern life in the early 20th century. You could also head for the cosmopolitan city which is Newcastle upon Tyne. The Durham Heritage Coast is well worth a visit during your holiday too. And, while you're staying at Durham Coastal Lodges, take a trip to the Durham Dales & High Force (a waterfall to be seen!).
The park has a playground to keep the children happy, but not much else - which is probably why you'll love it here so much!
You have a choice of three types of lodge at Durham Coastal Lodges. There's the Little Owl Lodge which sleeps 4 people in 2 bedrooms. And the Penny Lodge & Willoughby Lodge, both of which sleep 6 people.
All the lodges at Durham Coastal Lodges come with a TV in the living room, with extra TVs in the bedrooms. There is a DVD player, iPod docking station, and Wi-Fi. You have a kitchen including microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. A shower. With your bed linen, towels & duvets included too. All the lodges have double glazing and central heating; as well as a wood burning stove.
Outside the lodges have a private area with outdoor furniture. You can hire a gas barbeque and patio heater at Durham Coastal Lodges too. Some of the lodges allow your pets to holiday with you.
