Woodbine Cottage is a holiday cottage on the English/Welsh border, just a couple of miles from Ludlow. A 250 year-old half-timbered cottage, Woodbine Cottage has now been converted into this holiday cottage sleeping 8 people.
Only ½ mile from the nearest pub; and a couple of miles from the nearest shops - Woodbine Cottage makes a nice place to spend a holiday in the peace & quiet. Offa's Dyke is runs along the border with Wales and England, and makes a good place to take some walks and see the surrounding countryside. The video below shows the views you can get from Offa's Dyke (we took this the last time we were staying near Knighton - only a few miles from Woodbine Cottage).
There are a few National Trust properties in the area, with Berrington Hall ("Neo-classical mansion with fine interiors, set in landscape grounds") and Brockhampton Estate ("Traditionally farmed estate and medieval manor house") being a couple of examples.
Ludlow itself is well worth a visit, with lots of history to explore - and a reputation for being a "foodie" town.
