Seaward is close to the coast and harbour in Portpatrick, Rhins of Galloway Peninsula. Sleeping 6 people in 3 bedrooms, Seaward is a family sized holiday cottage ideal for exploring this part of South West Scotland.
Being close to the centre of the village, Seaward is only a 250 yard walk to the pub, shop and restaurant. Or for a wider selection, you can drive into Stranraer, 6 miles away.
The Rhins of Galloway Peninsula has a very temperate climate in comparison to the rest of South West Scotland, because the Gulf Stream warms the air. For this reason you can see Chuson Palms and Euclyptus trees in the area! The Logan Botanic Garden is a nice day out for those looking to see some of the flora in this part of the world. There is plenty of wildlife to spot too, with the pine martens, golden eagle, ospreys, red deer, red squirrels and the natterjack toad all being residents.
There is plenty of opportunity for walking in the countryside; or try exploring the rugged coast. The Southern Upland Way runs through here too.
