Doray is in the centre of the village, with the shops being 2 miles away, and the pub & restaurant being 100 yards. There are a couple of lovely beaches nearby - at Low Newton and High Newton-by-the-Sea. With the village of Beadnell having a pretty bay.
The town of Alnwick is a few miles up the road, and has the castle made famous by the Harry Potter films. You can also visit Hadrian's Wall during your holiday.
