For those wanting to explore some of the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you can't go too far wrong with a few days at Bramble Cottage. Bramble Cottage is in the village of Craster, 200 yards from the coast.

There are 20 miles for Northumberland Heritage Coast for you to explore - either on foot on on your cycle. You can head to the beaches of Embleton, 3 miles from Bramble Cottage; or 10 miles from Bramble Cottage is Beadnell Bay - with a variety of water-sports on offer: sailing, sea kayaking, wind surfing and scuba diving are all included. A little further along the coast takes you to Seahouses, a fishing village with boat trips out to the Farne Islands.
Inland is Alnwick Castle and Gardens - a lovely day out for horticultural and history buffs; and of interest to those who like Harry Potter.
