So I thought I would give you a few ideas about why Premier Inn are our hotel of choice; you may even say, our review of Premier Inn.
The welcome sight of a Premier Inn at the end of a long day
A Premier Inn isn't what you'd call a unique, character filled country hotel. But that's not we're after. We want something
clean & tidy, and a good base for somewhere to shower and sleep. This is our list of reasons to choose a Premier Inn for
a family night away:
With a Premier Inn we know exactly what we're going to get. And we know that we'll like it!
There is always plenty of room to sleep the 4 of us in one room - even in one of those central London hotels
The bathrooms are always clean & well maintained - crucial, I think you'll agree. No-one want the euughhh factor in a hotel
No shortage of hot water - who needs to start the day with a cold shower because someone has used all the hot water
We always know what we'll get in the room - I understand the hairdryer is an important feature
A nice "all you can eat breakfast" - and kids eat free (children are classed as up to 16 years-old)
With Lenny Henry guaranteeing a good nights' sleeps, you'll get your money back if something goes wrong and can't be fixed - we've never tried this guarantee though, which, I suppose, is a good thing
Premier Inns are located close to main roads, and have a car park. Apart from those London ones, which are close to public transport
There are millions of Premier Inns to choose from. Well, maybe not millions, but there are several.
Yes, that is a Premier Inn breakfast
And for those, like us, are looking for a family room, the photo below will give you an idea of what to expect:

If the thought of a villa holiday sounds good - but you've got children in tow, have a look at villa resorts which combine the advantages of having your own villa with the advantages of a resort's facilities.
Find a selection of holiday cottage in Beccles, Suffolk. The cottages of Riverside House, Butterfield House, Northgate Bakery, Honeysuckle Cottage and Burnt Hill House all have a video showing their location in Beccles.
Try a villa holiday in Europe and the Mediterranean during March, April and May. James Villas Spring Holidays is the place to look - and if you get in early enough you could get a bargain in the James Villa Holidays Half Price Sale.
Located next to the beach and surrounded by the Lagoa dos Salgados Lagoon and nature reserve, Vidamar Algarve Resort is a villa resort with holiday villas sleeping between 4 and 8 people. All villas at Vidamar Algarve Resort have their own pool.
A fabulous day out, the Falkirk Wheel links the Union Canal with the Forth and Clyde Canal. You have a variety of attractions at the Falkirk Wheel, including an Archimedes Screw, hire a cycle, paddle boats, or just a nice walk.
See the sights from the top of the Nevis Range in Scotland. Take a gondola up the mountain, and get some views from the Sgurr Finnisg-aig view point. You can always cycle down too - or take the cable car back down again.
How about a family holiday in the sun? The Balearic Islands make a lovely location for a holiday. We were recently fortunate enough to spend a few days at the all-inclusive resort of Marina Parc on Menorca. Close to the beach at Arenal d'en Castell, Marina Parc also comes with its own water park.
Great Yarmouth has an abundance of seaside attractions to keep both young and old occupied. For something a little calmer, how about a walk round The Venetian Waterways at Great Yarmouth. This peaceful waterway makes a glorious location to wander around.
