Gulliver, the Wind Turbine in Lowestoft
Suffolk's first wind turbine at Ness Point in Lowestoft is situated on the coast, at the most easterly point in the UK.
The wind turbine was built in 2004 by Locally based firm SLP Energy, and Dutch firm Vestas Wind Systems. The turbine was named Gulliver by readers of the local newspaper 'The Lowestoft Journal'.
Gulliver is 126 metres tall and can generate enough electricity to power 1600 homes.
