Family Holidays at Chteau des Ormes - Northern Brittany, France
Set in French countryside, you might not expect to fi nd a parc with so many facilities to offer for kids and adults alike and all within easy reach of ferry ports. Your first sight of the magnificent 18-hole golf course confirms that this is no ordinary parc. Set in 250 acres of chteau parkland and woods, this parc is extremely popular with our customers, particularly teenagers, and becomes very lively in high season. Children will love the waterpark with its four-lane waterslide and the newly built indoor pool complex and outdoor wave pool, great fun for all the family to enjoy. You will also find a lake where pedalos can be hired or you can relax and enjoy some fishing. There is plenty of entertainment all season long, and you can choose from either the cosy bar with terrace or restaurant to relax in during the evening. Popular day trips include a visit to the medieval town of Dinan or the Benedictine abbey on Mont St Michel. A short drive south will bring you to Combourg with its ancient chteau and lake. The old walled town of St Malo is home to Le Grand Aquarium, the town’s castle and museums. You can also take a boat trip to the nearby islands of Guernsey and Jersey.
