The swimming pool was fantastic.the furniture and decor needed an update.i would suggest an awning for the back of the villa as there was no respite for the sun, apart from two small umbrellas that were not adequate cover. Graham from Ingatestone (01 September 2018)
Great location and good local amenities. . villa basic but very clean. . overall happy with villa, however, lack of air conditioning in lounge, lack of fly/bug screens on all windows and vintage dvd player let the property down. . no outside shower - this means that the quality of the water in the pool (very good size but dated) is liable to suffer reduced quality. Nicholas from Aberdeen (28 July 2018)
Lovely villa with great views. Harry from Basildon (17 June 2018)
Casa arosa is as described on the website and our expectations were met. Some updating to the bedroom and en suite would be beneficial but the views from the terrace over the hills and countryside towards olhoa and the sea are spectacular and bring us back to bordeira time and again!. a peaceful, relaxing place we enjoy and will return to again. Kenneth from Fobbing Essex (02 June 2018)
The villa is really secluded and although it says there is a bar and eating places they were hardly open when we were there and when they were they were expensive, also the walk to and from the bar is really really steep as steep as it could get without using a rope. Saying that the villa was in a very beautiful spot and the views were to die for, would be great if you wanted to get away from it all and stay in. The pool was a good size too and not to cold. It is a must that you hire a car, because even if you wanted to be a hermit on your holiday you need to eat and there is no super market within walking distance . the villa needed a bit of an up date but was clean and tidy and was very comfy there Michelle from St Fergus Peterhead (29 October 2017)
Location perfect for us very peaceful with a lovely view. Kitchen well equipped. Good size pool but the coldest i've ever used in 15+ years of villa holidays. The en-suite bathroom needs an update but was clean. Overall a good choice for relaxation. Kathleen from Radcliffe (23 September 2017)
This villa was clean and cosy the swimming pool very clean would rebook this villa in 2019 for holiday if we had not made prior arrangements fore 2018 I would of booked it then would recommend this villa to our friends, quiet peacefull all what you could ask for if you like peacefull holidays like we do Nigel (26 August 2017)
Casa arosa is located in a elevated position looking down the hillside to faro and the sea. the view is fantastic during the day and wonderful in the evening as the coast lights up. . this is a wonderfully quiet and secluded spot. you can just stop and listen to the silence!. if you want to get away fro it all this is the place. . its about 20 mins to faro and the coast and although there are a couple of restaurants at the bottom of the steep hill it is a bit of trek to more built up resort areas. strongly recommend going up the hill to the town od sa bras alportel. it has every thing you need including 3 supermarkets as well as local shops and restaurants. . taviva is well worth visiting felt like it was unspoilt by tourism, unlike alberfeira!, the beach reach by a cheap ferry boat is excellent. faro old town and the main shopping area also worth a visit. Dean (22 July 2017)
This villa is very clean and comfortable. It is remarkable well equipped, the best we have stayed in. Our only complaint would be that the pool area is very tired looking and could do with updating. A bit more greenery would be good. Overall an excellent holiday. Elizabeth from Downham Market (24 June 2017)
Although a bit dated this villa has everything for your needs. If it's peace and quite your looking for this villa is the answer.this is the first time my wife and I have done portugal and its deffenetly for us.the villa views are something that will stay in your memory for years.(the view is unspoilt) . a couple of eating places at the bottom of the hill for drinks and dinner. (lovely people).however we found the car was a must for shops and sight seeing.the weather was exellent and being high up is another advantage to enjoy the sun.(take it easy though because I burnt).all in all a great holiday.and the james rep was very helpfull.well done james villas. 10/10 ken&collete Kenneth from Liverpool (15 April 2017)
Excellent villa, very secluded with a wonderful view to distant faro. Highly recommended. Gilleasbuig from Stonehaven (15 October 2016)
Excellent villa, quiet location, not overlooked, with beautiful views and a great sized pool. A car is essential, it is not remote (only 15 minutes from the airport) but nothing nearby, apart from 2 restaurants within a 10 minute walk. (nb the walk back is not for elderly or those less mobile - it is up a very very steep hill.). . real chill spot and one we would come back to. Charlie from Pewsey (06 August 2016)
We enjoyed staying at the villa, and the area was quite quiet which is just what we wanted. Caroline (13 September 2015)
Lovely villa, very quiet location, wonderful views, would definitely go back again. Tracey from Croydon (15 August 2015)
Pool and secluded position but not to far from amenities Malcolm from Nottingham (04 October 2014)
Very quiet location, not overlooked by other villas. Just what you need for a quiet get away Mr Lawson from Nottingham (07 June 2014)
Didn't speak to Rep by choice however a very good information pack was available in the Villa Mr Lawson from Nottingham (07 June 2014)
