Melitti was excellent. From the moment we arrived (early); costas and christa were friendly and welcoming. The villa was spotless, and over the course of the holiday our hosts were diligent about keeping it that way. The villa was cleaned every 3-4 days, and the pool was regularly checked. The outside garden area is extensive, with plenty of toys for younger kids, and table tennis for the bigger ones. I can honestly say, without any disrespect to previous villas (this was our sixth different james villa, and the pools have always been good) that the pool was the cleanest we have ever had. There seemed to be fewer insects and debris in there, which I think was partly due to the design of the pool itself. . . the bedrooms have plenty of storage, and the bathrooms have good showers (whirlpool bath in one of them instead of a shower). . we were provided with some basic provisions when we first arrived, like bread and milk, so we didn’t immediately need to rush out for provisions. Part way through the holiday, christa brought a delicious home made orange cake which went down a treat (it was huge!) on other occasions, she turned up with sweet breads or ice lollies for our 8 year old, he was a very happy chap. . the villa is one of two that are situated next door to each other, but they have been thoughtfully designed to ensure privacy so neither is overlooked. . . there are satellite tvs in the living room and each of the bedrooms (we only ever used the living room one) and the wi-if signal was good. . overall the villa had everything you could want, and the hosts were superb. Our party arrived at the villa a little early, but no problem, as kostos and helena were there to greet us and show us around the property. It's a lovely villa in an idyllic location, with a large garden, comfortable furnishing throughout, including the outdoor dining area and poolside loungers. Table tennis, swings and a wendy house for any youngsters in the party. Wifi was slow at times but fine for emails and browsing. Our hosts regularly attended to the garden and pool, the whole place was cleaned and towels etc. Refreshed mid-week, and they did everything possible to make sure we had a great holiday. Had a lovely weeks stay at villa melitti. Was greeted by the owner who was lovely, bringing us a cake on our first day & a little gift each for our trip home which was thoughtful. . villa was spacious & clean & the outside area was beautiful & very quiet. Unfortunately we had some extreme weather of massive thunderstorms & torrential rain which caused the window & patio doors to leak in rain water into the villa. We just put a couple of towels down to address the issue & prayed for some sunshine! the upstairs shower in the main bedroom needs to be looked at as it will flood every time you use it. The water flows from the shower up drain on the floor & you end up with a mini swimming pool in the bathroom & bedroom. Once again we put rolled up towels along the door to keep the water inside the bathroom. . all in all we really enjoyed our stay & was almost perfect just for a few little faults that could be rectified. Beautiful villa in the quiet south west of the island. The owners go the extra mile to ensure you have a great stay. A short drive to good sandy beaches and tavernas. Wonderful pool and a few toddler toys supplied too. Our 18 month old loved it. Our best villa yet. Benjamin (25 July 2016)

Villa in very quiet location. Sister villa next door but you seem miles from anywhere. Spotlessly clean on arrival. Showers shown in pictures have been replaced by modern walk-in ones. Very cool inside so aircon not always necessary. Pool fantastic and kept clean all week. Plenty of tavernas within 10 - 15 minute drive. Roads rural but we have seen much worse in the greek islands. On the face of it a lovely villa. liked the location; quite remote and in a true corfu setting. all the showers were very tired and not particularly clean; they had fancy body jets, etc and really just need replacing with simple, new units. For the price the quality didn't bowl us over!. had beautiful cake delivered on day 2. overly aggressive, and incorrect, accusations about use of the air conditioning units made it feel a little on edge and uncomfortable. A beautiful villa in a lovely, pretty and peaceful location. The villa owner and cleaner/gardener took such pride in looking after the villa and us. Nothing was too much trouble. A thoroughly enjoyable week in this location. The Villa was excellent, rural and peaceful location but had a number of suitably located tavernas supplying good food and very cold beer! Corfu airport is only 45 minutes away, and easy driving to most towns around this area for sightseeing. Would totally recommend this Villa and area to others!
