This beautiful villa and garden are a delight. Our expectations from the brochure / website description were met and somewhat exceeded. Thank you to the owners and, again, to james villas. David from Cornwall (06 September 2018)
This is a fantastic villa in a very quiet and private area, not too far from faro airport. Fans are provided in the rooms but air conditioning would be a huge bonus through the warm humid nights during the summer months. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is a very good size. A car is essential at this villa to go to the supermarkets or the shopping centres which are all within 20 minute drive. Not too far from old town estoi. this villa does have a pond in the grounds which isn't mentioned in villa description - this would be worth mentioning especially if you have a phobia of frogs! one point we would mention is the sign for the villa is only visable coming from one direction - would be beneficial to have a bigger sign at the t junction, maybe even providing a picture of junction/area? Andrew from Keighley (30 August 2018)
Lovely villa - very quiet and peaceful. good outside space with nice covered area for eating and chilling ! really lovely garden beautifully maintained. everything was very clean. bathrooms are a bit tired and there were a few issues with hot water at first but this sorted itself out quickly. main issue is with directions which were not clear if you were arriving at night. we had to call the rep for which many apologies! Sally from Stroud (03 May 2018)
This is a great villa for anyone wanting to explore the eastern algarve. The outside space makes this villa special - the pool, garden and playing field are brilliant. There are lovely shaded areas too for hotter days. The games room is great and perfect being away from the house. It is fairly remote with nothing around but being 10 minutes from faro and with a number of supermarkets within a 10 min drive we didn't find this a problem. It has good access to the motorway to head east or west. Rebecca (12 April 2018)
Happy with location , villa and beautiful gardens well appointed ,fruitful orchard, lovely pool. Pleasant unobtrusive owners seen only when needed. . . minor issues only ie broken toilet bin lid, toilet roll and towel holder came off at a touch we sorted those. outdoor chairs replaced when one broke and someone sustained a leg wound. We would have liked a welcome pack . . however a great holiday in sunny portugal was had by all. John from Chesterfield Derbys (21 September 2017)
This is a 5 star: 10 point review: . we had a lovely time at isaurinda i: we can not fault this villa one bit, we can not also fault the owners of the villa. from the day we arrived, we received nothing but help from the owners, they allowed us to put our cases in the villa, even though we had arrived many hours earlier than our villa check-in time, as the villa was still being cleaned. Later the same day they allowed us back into villa to put away frozen food which we had bought from the supermarket, which clearly they didn't have to as our confirmed villa entry wasn't till 4pm. . . the villa owners were so nice when they came to either change bedding or do the gardens/pool, or any general cleaning they had to come and do. They were so friendly and chatted to us during the time they were there, gave us lots of advice on places we could visit, and also shared alot about themselves, and about the villa we had the pleasure of staying in during our stay. . . we had one issue during our stay, and this was only because one of the fans provided had stopped working, and we cant fault the owners response to this, we had made contact with the james villa rep late that afternoon to report this, and were advised nothing could be done till the following day, (this was a very hot evening 35 degrees), we were so surprised that actually that evening the owners turned up at our door, brandishing a brand new fan which they had gone out of their way to buy that evening, and bought it to us. 100% full marks with that one, you cant ask for any better service from the owners for what they did for us. . the villa is a perfect quiet place to relax and chill, and take in the sun and recharge your batteries. It is also not far from many of the other destinations you may like to visit that are around you. . it has wonderful cared for gardens, which provide plenty of space for either the sun bathers, or if you want to find shade and be cool. . . the pool is wonderful, clean and always felt warm, no matter what time of day we swam in it, this could be early morning, through to late evening, as it is positioned to catch the sun throughout the day. . the games room, was also an added bonus for both children and adults. . the villa itself was beautiful and you had all the equipment needed for your stay, and I could not think of anything during our stay that we didn't have that may have been needed. There is plenty of room inside the villa, so there is no way any family would feel they are falling over each other. if you had any questions or problems during your stay the owners were so helpful, and a delight to listen to when they would explain things to you. on a personal note also the fact they came to see us the evening before we departed, made our family feel that actually we weren't just another villa booking to them, and that we were a family staying in their villa, and through out our stay they had very well catered for our 2 week stay. Carl from Norwich (17 August 2017)
Pros: outside area fabulous, quiet, secluded, had a lovely shaded area with music, garden lights. . cons: can't use toilet paper, pool wasn't cleaned during our stay, altho outside area was fabulous it was spoiled by the stone areas leading out of the villa and the steps as they are like crazy paving but crooked and sharp. . . decor a tad outdated and beds are rock hard. Kettle leaked everywhere and extractor fan didn't work when cooking. . . electric gate broke altho the owner came to fix quickly it couldn't be fixed so had to manually operate. . . don't leave clothes or towels outside or sit on grassed areas at night as the sprinklers come on at 1am and soak everything. There is also a manure like smell that omits while the sprinklers are on at night which is over powering. . shame there are so many trees overhanging the pool as we were constantly having to clean it throughout the day. . . hard to find with directions supplied if you have google maps best to use it to find anything you need. Nothing really in the area had to drive to albufera on several occasions Theresa from London (27 July 2017)
Nice quiet location ideal if you're not wanting lively surroundings, although only a quick drive to faro, almancil, vilamoura and estoi. Ian from Ballygowan (20 July 2017)
This villa was fantastic it's only down side was the lack of airconditioning which I was aware of when booking but are average temperature for the week was 39 degrees but that would not put me off booking again. There was a power cut when we were there and the owners arrived within 30 mins to help it was the area which was out . I have no problemrecommending the villa or james staff Roseann from Bushmills (22 June 2017)
Had a brilliant two week holiday at the isaurinda1, gardens and pool exceptional! villa itself very homely and clean. The owners were lovely and showed interest in what we thought, and very helpful. Will definitely be going again hopefully next year. Joan from Preston Lancs (22 September 2016)
Overall positive ,however the lack of air con is a big negative.the pool is large ,clean and accessible, however the short area of shallow water and severe drop to 2m is concerning, not user friendly and does not provide safe bathing for children or weak swimmers.this significantly reduced enjoyment and usability of pool.the lawned areas are extensive, attractive and well maintained, however it's hard to understand why there is an aversity to pruning back the high level of overgrown trees/shrubs particularly in the outdoor dining and barbecue areas. Excellent and courteous maid service with towel change more frequent than expected.the games room was well received and used ,very much a plus political. Richard (08 September 2016)
The villa was in a great place only 15 mins to the airport and shopping centre. The villa was clean and well located off the main rd. Would book again for next year. Paul from Northern Ireland (02 June 2016)
Excellent and very extensive well kept gardens with large clean pool. Spacious villa, well equipped. But no mainstream uk tv. Alan from Chelmsford (15 October 2015)

We only had our towels and bedding changed once. Rita from Bromsgrove (25 June 2015)
The villa was everything that was promised and much more, especially the grassed outdoor are which was so spacious for the children to play in. Mr Leaver from Whitley Bay (22 May 2014)

The villa was wonderful as were the garden grounds, the outdoor dining area and games room. The pool was perfect and there were plenty of sunny and shaded areas for us to relax in.The owner was lovely and we enjoyed chatting to him when he came to water the garden and clean the pool.We would love to return one day!
