A great place to relax. Away from the tourist areas but near enough to visit for beaches etc. . estoi is a beautiful place. Make sure you visit the palace. Hidden gem. Would definitely book again. Thank you Ian from Liverpool (20 July 2017)
If you like privacy, peace and quiet this is a great villa. Lovely views from the balcony, it was nice to be able to get to it from various rooms. we had great fun in the games room and pool. Customer 2 (29 June 2017)
This was our third visit to this cass mocho, a superb villa in a lovely location. Indoor pool and games room kept us entertained all week. Air-conditioning would be a welcome addition. Stephen from Preston (08 June 2017)
This is a lovely villa, there is a huge amount of indoor and outdoor space to say it has only 2 bedrooms with beautiful views from the terrace and a peaceful location. The indoor heated pool was a huge bonus especially as the weather was a bit cool for the first 2 days of our holiday. The games room was very well used by us all and greatly appreciated. I agree with a previous reviewer that the outside space is a little bit disjointed, this didn't concern us with having an older child however if you have very young children the outdoor pool steps are quite steep and you can't see the outdoor pool from much of the villa. The villa itself is in very good condition, very clean and well maintained. The electric window shutters gave us peace of mind about security when out and about. my only minor negative is that I think some of the kitchen appliances could do with updating, the cooker dial symbols had almost worn off in parts which made it a bit tricky when cooking. The villa is fairly remote, however, there is a very useful, friendly little shop a few minutes drive away that is attached to a café that sells all your basics, fresh milk, bread, fruit and veg and is very competitively priced. You pass it on the way from the airport and we took the opportunity to stock up. There is a very large supermarket within a 15 to 20 minute drive. Sarah from Sheffield (01 June 2017)
The outdoor swimming pool is not visible from the main part of the house & is accessed via fairly steep outdoor steps. we had to chase for the pool to be cleaned which it was fairly promptly, but we then couldn't use it for 3 hours whilst the chemicals set to work. Other than that the villa was great & our boys really enjoyed the table tennis. Bronwen (01 September 2016)
Lovely villa, if I was being picky then the layout outside is rather disjointed and could do with a gate at the top of the steps for young children. Not sure what 'natural air conditioning' is but I can confirm it doesn't work. Thank goodness for the electric fans in the bedrooms. . pools are both great, although a more shade by the outside pool would be beneficial. Location is wonderful, however the dogs are unbearable. All day and night they bark and its very loud and can be heard inside the villa even with doors shut. Such a shame as it has put us off returning to what is a lovely clean and tidy villa with great facilities. James (21 July 2016)
We loved this villa, quiet location, not overlooked, indoor pool and games room a well used bonus. . the beds and living room furniture could be more comfortable, despite this we would go again. Bridget from Paignton (29 October 2015)
Loved this villa it was just what we wanted large, quite, peaceful, heated pool ,games room and fantastic views . just a short drive on main road you can find two cafes/ restaurants , one with a small shop where you can buy all your basic needs, milk, bread, cheese, beans and local veg and fruit. We made use of the games room and indoor heated pool due to some wet days. The outside pool is very nice but it did not see much action from us, again due to the weather in october, but we are already looking at dates for villa casa mocho next summer. We managed to bring down the shutters, we did not know they were electric (switch by light switch on wall )but rep was very helpful and it was sorted next day. Robert from Oxford (22 October 2015)
I really only have one criticism and that is very much a personal opinion and not one that would necessarily be shared by others and that is to do with the motion-sensor controlled light and extractor fan switch in the second bathroom. For those of us of a certain age for whom a night-time visit to the bathroom has become relatively routine but who nevertheless can still see perfectly well in the dark, I found that having the light come on automatically was a wretched nuisance. In my humble opinion, an on/off switch outside the door or a good old-fashioned cord-pull switch would be so much more preferable. Roger from Eastbourne (10 September 2015)
Location location location great location in portugal in the algarve and the seclusion in the hills. . the area around the pool lacked shade Anne (23 July 2015)
We have been to this villa 3 times now, we love it, quite remote and not near any shops or cafes so you would have to drive but if you want peace and quiet it is ideal. The indoor pool is fab and the games room gives you plenty to do. We will deffinately be returning again. We went as a couple I don't think it would be suitable for small children as there are not gates to enter the back and therefore children could easily walk out onto the drive area. Debra from Herne Bay Kent (04 June 2015)
We were there in early april/may and the indoor pool was an excellent facility for this time of year. The outdoor pool was too cold to venture into. The outdoor space was very good, offering seating areas on the covered terrace, lower terrace and down by the open pool. The villa was furnished functionally rather than comfortably but was ok for a week. . we didn't like having the bird nests in the corner of the terrace with very active birds (house martins, I think) one of which got into the games room and was difficult to get out. We are also not comfortable with rats living not far from the terrace although we were assured that this is fairly normal and they are harmless (i've been holidaying in the algarve since 2003 and this is the first time I have seen any nesting in and around pipework). Dorothy from Telford (07 May 2015)
The villa was fine in a lovely area weenjoyed the week we spent . but the indoor pool was in need of a good clean and tidy up it was in poor condition but everything else was fine although the out door pool was very cold and it would have been super if the owner would finish the rooms so that you could have access to the outdoor pool through the extension overall we enjoyed our time in case mocha Roseann from Ballymoney (09 April 2015)
Quiet location with good views Maria (25 September 2014)
Indoor heated pool. . peace and quiet of area - but might be too remote for some people. Sheena from Cumbernauld (05 June 2014)
