Customer reviews
The perfect place for a relaxing, peaceful holiday. Excellent fishing and really well kept grounds and lakes - we are looking forward to returning for another year! Mrs P from Huddersfield
A relaxing get away from it all, in a lovely country setting. Mrs H from Accrington
It was lovely - we wanted to be out in the middle of nowhere with good fishing access and that is what we got! The lodges were beautiful and very clean. Miss A from Winchester
My daughter and her husband chose this park and we all would recommend Wooda Lakes. The lodges and the surroundings were clean and peaceful, and added to that there was onsite fishing if you wished to take part. The lakes were kept tidy and clean and any would be fisherman would say they were in heaven. It was not too far away for the women of the family to go into Bude to spend a day on the beach should they wish. If you just wished to chill out and relax and read a book, sunbathe on the balcony, again this was an option also - we all thoroughly enjoy the experience. Mrs B from Stafford
It was a wonderful location with wonderful, helpful staff. It was peaceful and so clean, tidy and well kept. Mrs G from Bristol
If you are looking for lovely environment and complete peace and quiet away from the hussle and bussle, then this is the place. Mrs S from King's Lynn

We had a great time, my husband enjoyed the fishing and Bude was not too far for me to travel for some retail therapy! It is such a relaxing location whether you are fishing or just chilling out, no traffic noise or noisy neigbours. The lodges are very well appointed with all the little touches you would expect from Hoseasons. Mrs M from Yeovil

Fantastic location and the accommodation was excellent. Mr C from Worthing
A very peaceful park, away from eveything and not spoilt by too many log cabins in one area. Mrs M from Chippenham
We were after a peaceful holiday, this was perfect in the middle of nowhere, you can hear and see the wildlife, especially the ducks that wanted feeding every morning. The accommodation was lovely and clean and well equipped, it was very warm considering we went out of season. We would strongly recommend this place for a peaceful and very relaxing place, it is all geared up for fishermen. Mrs K from Clevedon
An excellent location, so peaceful and tranquil and superb accommodation. The onwers were extremeley friendly and helpful, and we didn't fish but I can see why fisherman like to stay there. An excellent location as it is on the border of North Devon and North Cornwall so you get to visit both areas! There is a big Morrisons supermarket only 10 minutes away in Bude. Miss R from Banbury
If you want peace, tranquility and just get away from it all this is the place to be, and the fishing is great as well, sometimes having a whole lake to myself. Mr B from Oxford
The lodge was comfortable and well equipped. Relaxing and a peaceful setting, the fishing was excellent and very safe with children. Mrs R from Colchester
If you're interested in visiting Cornwall, surfing, bodyboarding and fishing then Wooda Lakes is the idea place for you. Whether you have children, young or old it doesn't matter as the location and activities available are all suitable. We had our first family holiday at Wooda Lakes and there was a small concern that the actual park wouldn't be as good as the pictures on the internet, but we were pleasantly surprised when we turned up as the park and lodges were better than the images, which started the holiday positively. The owners also gave you plenty of privacy, but also made sure you knew just to ask if you needed anything, it was certainly minimal fuss which is how we like it. We hope to return again next year and will be recommending the park to friends and family. Mr D from Didcot
I would recommed this park to anybody who is looking for a very relaxing holiday. It was lovely, such peace and tranquility and just what was needed. Mrs M from Luton
We would certainly recommend the holiday to any of our family and friends who were in search of a totally quiet and relaxing holiday. Beaches, places of interest, activities and entertainments were all to be found if required and there was a lovely comfortable place to retreat to at the end of the day. A completely hassle free holiday - wonderful, thank you! Mrs W from Harrogate
Wooda Lakes is peaceful, relaxing and set on a beautiful site with accommodation to match. Any fisherman would love a holiday here as the sport is excellent and all abilities will catch fish. My 13 year old was hooked (forgive the pun) on fishing! Mrs R from Derby
