Excellent park & clean, comfortable accommodation. Leisure centre lovely.
Susan from Greasby (13 April 2018)

The weather was not kind to us but we enjoyed the break. Loved the improvements to the parks and eating areas. Disappointed in the space and lack of indoor equipment for the under 5's.
Carol (13 April 2018)

The staff were all very helpful in every department!
Lilian from Liverpool (02 April 2018)

Lovely relaxing holiday in an idyllic location. Nice accommodation. Good facilities, nice pool and fun family entertainment. Food was good and the red velvet cheesecake was to die for!! perfect place for pets.
Erika (30 March 2018)

Fab clean new facilities, lovely park and setting
Sarah (30 March 2018)

Can increase the leisure activities, feels almost same like the ones you get anywhere in a normal leisure park. Didn't excite much.
Customer 6 (26 March 2018)

Lovely peaceful and relaxing break. sheep wandering around the village. Close to beautiful walks through the forest. Need to go back as there are places I didn't get time to visit. Some building going on around the site at the moment. Very intermittent wifi signal and no phone signal. Fab for those wanting to get away from everything.
Anne (23 March 2018)

Spacious clean apartment with all facilities, good pool area, kid night entertainment. Nice location in woods ,will go again
Mervyn (12 March 2018)

Staff couldn’t do enough to resolve any problems or give advice. Enjoyed our stay.
Michelle from Nottingham (23 February 2018)

Great setting, apartment had ample space but was tired - these are not 'premium' but are pleasant and functional. Staff were very friendly and the facilities were very good. The children loved it and we will return.
Clare (19 February 2018)

The cabin we stayed in was smelly and not very clean. The swimming pool was nice. Overall the place was a bit too big (too many cabins, campers etc) we prefer smaller sites. Can’t fault the staff they were very helpful and polite it’s just the cabin that let it down.
Angela from Oxford (19 February 2018)

Fantastic from start to finish, can’t wait to go again
Elizabeth (19 February 2018)

Swimming pool was great & enough to entertain young children.
Sandra from York (16 February 2018)

Had a really enjoyable time and would recommend to others and return in the future despite the weather
David from Birmingham (16 February 2018)

I was a bit let down by food but there is the option to self-cater so I will remember that next time. staff were extremely helpful especially the salon ladies, the manager and zoe and two ladies on reception, a younger girl with short blonde hair and an older lady also with short (i think blonde) hair, with glasses. . the only struggle was the very short journey from apartment to main complex we had to use the car, as the paths were not wheelchair friendly enough to push. . wifi needs much improvement apart from that we had a great break!
Sm from Gloucestershire (12 February 2018)

We really enjoyed our few days.
Eve (30 December 2017)

Absolutely loved it. Holiday park was fantastic, staff were approachable, friendly and always happy to help. Lodge was great, lovely and warm. A perfect getaway between christmas and new year.
Samantha (30 December 2017)

This was our second year at whitemead, it didnt fail to impress, lovely lodge, clean and everything you need
Maxine (18 December 2017)

Had a great time, added bonus was the snow!
Elizabeth from North Wales (11 December 2017)

Plenty walking trails on doorstep. Not too hilly
Paul from Rhondda (01 December 2017)

My daughter and I visited your site at the end of november, which in hindsight was not a brilliant time to visit you as you were setting up for christmas and the local attractions were also setting up for christmas too. we stayed in no 24 which was very comfortable for the two of us and the two grandchildren ( 3 and 8 months). we would definitely stay with you again and maybe try one of the apartments which seem slightly bigger. it is a lovely site in beautiful surroundings. we found the staff very friendly and although busy setting up for father christmas to arrive, had time to chat with us.
Kay from Moreton In Marsh (01 December 2017)

Very pleasant park accommodation good
Linda from Bournemouth (01 December 2017)

Fab weekend break with friends will certainly be coming back, everything lovely and clean staff helpful and friendly
Sarah from Cwmbran (27 November 2017)

Third visit - bungalow first then first floor bluebell apartment then ground floor primrose. this last trip was the worst - could footsteps from above every time the occupants were there - children running about constantly made it worse. loud music could be heard from the venue on friday and saturday until midnight. got on our nerves. swimming pool / gym not open at the advertised time on saturday morning. Apart from that, we had an enjoyable time, the staff that we spoke to were great, the christmas lights were beautiful and the apartment refurbs look lovely and ours was spotless.
Pam from Cwmbran, Torfaen (27 November 2017)

Lovely place for a relaxing break with my family and dog. Would recommend this site with nice lodges entertainment and plenty of walks with the dog.
Paul from Harrow (24 November 2017)

Will be back soon
Philip from Belvedere Kent (17 November 2017)

Great location for exploring, great facilities and spacious apartment all for a fab price.
Laura from Lichfield (17 November 2017)

Lovely peaceful stay in tranquil surroundings.
Linda from Ipswich (17 November 2017)

Nice place and facilities. Seems the locals don’t have much to do as spent over an hour in jacuzzi so we had to wait. Sauna is tiny. Staff are friendly. Went to bar at 9.30 ish but not served as no one been in since 8 so they closed! we went to pub down road and met others from the site so had they not closed may be they would have had a bar full!!
Karen from Birmingham (10 November 2017)

We had a lovely break. . . I would say that the cabin was "a bit tired" and in need of a bit of tlc. . . but overall a great place to stay.
Stephanie from Northampton (10 November 2017)

Lovely park, well located with very good facilities. staff are friendly and helpful, good bar, restaurant and leisure center. site very clean, even though some major construction works were ongoing, great walking on your doorstep. couple of nice, friendly pubs within 5 minutes walk - both do great food. great for site which caters for all; young, old, families or couples. there really is something for everyone.
David (06 November 2017)

Lovely complex and surroundings. . log cabin basic but okay. Swimming pool, jacuzzi & steam rooms an added bonus
Debbie from Barry (03 November 2017)

Thoroughly enjoyable in a beautiful part of the country. Good value for money with the deal we had
Neil from Tenby (03 November 2017)

The holiday lodge was wrongly advertised on the website when we booked, when it was amended we called up to change lodges as there was no other lodges available. Are stay was extremely uncomfy as there were not enough beds for everyone.as bunk beds were suitable for littles ones for saftey.
Samantha from Wrexham (30 October 2017)

Excellent all round will be back
Robert (30 October 2017)

Fantastic holiday. Had a great family break at halloween. . only downsides is the shop is way too small and doesn't stock enough, especially as there are no supermarkets close by. Pool could maybe do with a slide or similar. . other than that amazing place.
Gemma from Shipston On Stour (30 October 2017)

My family including 3 children 4-14 and my 70 year old mother stayed in a two story lodge which was lovely, we stayed in the october half term and enjoyed the evening entertainment as well as the beautiful surrounding. The park is well looked after and the facilities are excellent. There was only one small issue which was a very squeaky bunk bed but that’s just one of those things ! I would recommend it for everyone of all ages.
Lynn from Tamworth (27 October 2017)

Enjoyable stay nice surroundings good facilities and good value for families
Steve from Birmingham (27 October 2017)

Great place to stay for a relaxing break. Excellent accommodation and free use of decent swimming pool onsite.
Steve from Leicester (20 October 2017)

It was a lovely place to stay. Great surroundings and pleasant helpful staff. Lots to do in the area. We took our dog with us and he had a great time with the wildlife! probably would not pay full price in the summer as a bit expensive for a short stay.
Melanie from Bristol (13 October 2017)

Lovely holiday in a relaxing location.
Joanne from Pembroke Dock (13 October 2017)

2ntd time i've been enjoyed
Christine from Swansea (13 October 2017)

Everything we needed was there, cabin was spotless, staff polite and very helpful, food at restaurant/club was delicious and not overpriced. Couldn't fault it.
Antony from Redditch (13 October 2017)

We had a wonderful week and were able to see new places. . the cabin was spacious for our needs and comfortable. Car parking spaces were not clearly marked out as we expected so others parked in our allocated spot. The pool and resturant were excellent and the children's playground too. The squirrels kept us entertained and the ducks too.
Allan from Lincoln (09 October 2017)

This is defiantly just a base to sleep, there was nothing going on here and we was booked in for the week but left on the wednesday morning due to not having much to do. Good location if you just want to go on walks.
Adam from Swindon (06 October 2017)

The fact that my child almost flipped out the seat in the playground on the swing and then saw another child and father crying as did come out upside down and the staff did nothing after reporting it frankly was outrageous. They will have a court case on their hands pretty quickly if they don't deal with the problem rather than ignore comments.
Barker (02 October 2017)

Lovely location and facilities - great place to stay as a family
Caroline (02 October 2017)

Lovely place but lodge was a bit damp and bedrooms much smaller than other lodges we have stayed in. Overall nice and swimming pool was lovely. Lovely weekend but lodges a bit tired.
Lyndsey from Halesowen (25 September 2017)

Booked this for a few of our men working in the area very accommodating staff
Karen from Manchester (22 September 2017)

The park is in a lovely area, loved the pool but needed to go before the children came home from school. The bar sold some lovely food and does take away if needed. The apartment was nice, kitchen well stocked only grumble the sofa s need changing. All in all a lovely place to stay as a base for visiting the surrounding areas.
Diane from Manchester (15 September 2017)

We went out of season, to use as a base for our sightseeing in the area. (lots of castles in easy reach) . it was a large apartment, clean, and a nice quiet park with well looked after grounds. Only minor drawback was a large picture window where the double glazing had blown, making it look dirty.
Martin from Leeds, West Yorkshire (15 September 2017)

We had an enjoyable long weekend at whitemead and our dog thoroughly enjoyed it too. "so many exciting things to dream about chasing, squirrels, ducks and deer, if only they had let me off the lead!"
Jackie from Wiltshire (04 September 2017)

Great place to stay. Pool could do with refurbishment and the floor and slides were very rough leading to a few cuts and scapes
Benn from Birstall (01 September 2017)

Lovely holiday park with good facilities. Helpful and friendly staff. The only fault is no phone signal but you can get wifi in the main area.
Lisa (01 September 2017)

I like the park but there was not enough to do for the children and all activities got booked up very quickly. The pool could have been more fun too.
Tanya (28 August 2017)

Lovely setting warm atmosphere the only draw back was the expense of on-site activities which add up to a lot with a family of 3 children. If they were cheaper would have spent much more time on-site and then in a way spend more money there in the bar resteraunt etc.
Stephanie from Neath (25 August 2017)

Ideal place for a young family, a fraction of the price of other larger forest style resorts. the apartment was so much larger than expected, not at all pokey. the views from our apartment were lovely. Would have preferred some private outdoor space for our first floor apartment as it felt that the ground floor ones had use of the picnic tables outside of theirs, a small balcony would have been fine instead of just a juliet balcony. . downside to our apartment was that it was too close to the entertainment venue so was noisy most evenings until 11pm and then the noise of people heading back to their apartments woke us up a bit. we booked last minute so had we booked earlier I would have asked for an apartment further away. . the facilities were good but not a huge amount to do so after a couple of days we felt we needed to get off site and explore the area. . . I used the spa which was great value and they fit me in at short notice. Pool and changing rooms were fine but would have been good if there had been a slide of something for the kids. Just floats at splash time got a bit boring. . . overall however felt it was a lovely little place and just what we needed. I was 33-34 weeks pregnant so needed somewhere where everything was acccesible and on our door step which this place was perfect for! . . would recommend and consider coming back but staying on the outskirts of the park rather than central.
Anna from Manchester (25 August 2017)

'
Paula (21 August 2017)

We had a fantastic week at whitemead, so much so we tried to extend our break by a further 4 days, just a shame we couldn't as they were fully booked. We have already talked about returning next year. Our children - aged 11 & 12 thoroughly enjoyed the activities we booked them in for. . definitely recommend pedalabikeaway for bike rental. . only downside - there is no outdoor pool. If there was the addition of an outdoor pool, this would certainly make it the ultimate location to stay!
Philip from Wombourne (21 August 2017)

Me and my family really enjoyed are stay and the beautiful forest, everyone was helpful and polite, the thing that let us down was when we booked we was told that all activities were in with the price we paid for the hoilday! but they weren't, we felt let down and lied to if we was told it at the time of booking we wouldn't of be that upset.
Emma (18 August 2017)

Food in the restaurant was terrible. My daughter ordered pasta and it was very overlooked and presented as though it had already been chewed. Staff very good at taking away and offering an alternative but it shouldn't ha e left the kitchen looking like that. Upon arrival the dining area was filthy with no clean tables and food all over the floor. We were also disappointed by the fact that when we went to book kids activities after a coupe of days we were told that they were fully booked and that we should book early as they always get fully booked early on. A little bit of this advice at check in would have been useful to avoid our kids being disappointed. There were no activities available for the rest of the week.
Adele from Manchester (18 August 2017)

Just what we needed, really relaxing, you could do as much or as little as you wanted. Accommodation was great. The whole park was very clean and tidy. The staff were very helpful. We would definitely recommend.
Rachel from Newquay (18 August 2017)

Fantastic accommodation and very clean well kept park
Philip from Chard (18 August 2017)

Big apartment. Nice view,. relaxed atmosphere.
Jay (14 August 2017)

First holiday with the dog, so was a bit worried as to what the pet friendly accommodation would be like, but we were extremely pleased!!! beautiful place to escape in the forest! thank you very much!!
Rebecca from Cardiff (14 August 2017)

Fantastic place to stay, staff so welcoming and helpful, accommodation was ideal for our family, it had everything we needed and wanted.
Rachel from Stroud (11 August 2017)

Great staff, especially adam and charlie. clean, great facilities and good entertainment - we all loved it.
Samantha from Birmingham (07 August 2017)

Very nice location n a huge park. The staff n evening entertainment was very good. Also all the children activies were fab.the accomodation (log) was ok. Little its n bobs like tv remote part broken, utensils not fully washed n sofas n bed were very soft.
Anup from Harrow, Greater London (04 August 2017)

Booked for 70th birthday, 10 people including 9 week old baby, 13 & 15 year old, good time had by all. Only criticism was too many in swimming pool, numbers should be restricted to 30/45 minutes per session, during general sessions. The apartments were very nice and ideal for family get togethers although outside chair missing and was not replaced despite telling staff about this.
Margaret from Ludlow (31 July 2017)

Excellent revamp of the resturaunt/bar but beer prices are still very high
Glynn from Newport Gwent (28 July 2017)

We had a great holiday. The bar was expensive but the pool was lovely.
Andrew (28 July 2017)

Excellent park for a mini break used for adults only breaks but I can see families with children enjoy whitemeads and I would highly recommend. Ben is an exceptional manager and always about talking to guests and aims to please done
Joanne from Rugby (28 July 2017)

Really good, lovely resort and facilities, a real get away from it all in a beautiful location.
Helen from Hatfield (28 July 2017)

Great place for holiday with kids in terms of location, setting and activities offered. Quite pricey, and annoying that prices dropped dramatically in the last month prior to staying in july. Won't be booking months in advance in future, but looking out for deals a few weeks in advance. Overall staff attitude could be improved, though activity staff were great.
Mariam (21 July 2017)

Wonderful location and facilities.
Adrian from Winchester (21 July 2017)

Fantastic we loved it here , this was a return visit
Julie (17 July 2017)

Each apartment/ch alert had designated parking spots but one person kept paring in wrong spot instead of by his arpartment . the numbers on parking lots need to be repainted
Roger from Brightlingsea (17 July 2017)

Love!y bungalow. Did not need the insurance we were forced to buy as this just duplicated all the cover we already held
Eileen from Ilfracombe (14 July 2017)

A great short weekend break. A chance to relax whilst the kids keep occupied with the activities.
Suzanne (10 July 2017)

Lovely clean cabin in a great location. It was well equipped for cooking although the sharp knives were anything but and couldn't even slice a tomato! definitely need sharpening. The park was fairly peaceful with lots of wildlife. We used the swimming pool and play parks and all was great. . one receptionist really let everything down though. When I reported that our cabin didn't have the cot we had booked she replied 'well, the system only said a high chair'. well my confirmation said a cot and a high chair. Then, on departure, I entered reception to return the key and the same lady was on the phone to a colleague - she didn't even glance up to acknowledge me. After a minute of being ignored I just dumped the key and walked out. Very poor customer service.
Gill (07 July 2017)

The cabin was lovely and the surroundings were beautiful, only fault was that the wifi wasn't very good. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. I do think it's a shame they only serve cocktails on event nights now.
James from Hereford (07 July 2017)

The park has just had an upgrade which is lovely! not a lot to do there but it was nice. I feel it is catered more for the caravan/camping than anything else.
Calvin from Trelewis (03 July 2017)

Beautiful setting, some of the best "on site" food that we've ever had.
Customer 83 from Rubery (26 June 2017)

The facilities at whitmead were extremely good but we were disappointed with the condition of the log cabin.
Philip from Nottingham (26 June 2017)

2 storey lodge we stayed in was a bit tired.beds were small(2'6 singles)in second upstairs bedroom and double bed in main bedroom felt like it was broken.dogs escaped through rotten deck railings and first unit we were allocated was unsafe as the rafters were rotten.having said all that we enjoyed the break and might stay again if cabins are renovated.
Raymond from Brixham (16 June 2017)

A great park; our accomodation was fantastic and in a lovely scenic setting. Plus the restaurant does very good food, we are there every day so tried a variety of dishes which were all delicious. . however slightly let down by facilities being used by the public, we purposely avoid going away in school holidays to avoid older children, however found the pool and play areas were frequently occupied by them after school time.
Su from Leicester (16 June 2017)

No phone signal and very poor wifi ,and as it rained all week it was very hard to pass time.all activaties on the location was rained off. If you want to pass the time just sitting in doors then great
Mansukh from Warwickshire (09 June 2017)

Lovely little holiday in a great location!. lots to do in surroundings. Recent refurb has left the club house an enjoyable experience however the restuarant now feels a bit little a school canteen and has lost that personal feel. Always love the pool facilities and our kids enjoy the park and the large amount of greenery. Would still book again
Roger from Caerphilly (05 June 2017)

This was the 1st time we have stayed on one of your sites and we were very pleasantly surprised. We stayed in a log cabin which was ideal. We will certainly be looking to revisit both this site and look at other locations in the future
Russell from Essex (29 May 2017)

We had a lovely weekend at whitemead and the accommodation was lovely and clean. The lifeguards regularly checked the hot tub and the staff were helpful . the pool was lovely and warm and the restaurant was very good. Overall a lovely place to stay in beautiful surroundings :) would definitely stay again.
Victoria from Gloucester (15 May 2017)

Great site. Very friendly staff. Our only disapointment was that our decked area to the back of the lodge had not been brushed down or cleaned, we could clearly see both cabins either side and their decked area looked spotless. . this would in no way stop me or anyone in my party returning.
Samantha from Kingswinford (15 May 2017)

Lovely park accommodation could be up graded but did not take away from a lovely long weekend
Amanda from Shrewsbury (15 May 2017)

Very good. curtains are needed on the upper windows in the lounge area because it is too bright first thing in the morning for the guest sleeping in the lounge. Also blinds are needed in the twin bedded room because of the light shining through at the side of the curtains.
Jane from Worcester (08 May 2017)

I stayed in a premium lodge with a hot tub with my sister and a friend and couldn't fault the stay. The lodge was very clean and well stocked with kitchen utensils etc and plenty of towels. I liked the way the lodges were staggered and the ones either side of us had no hot tubs so a bit more privacy. The surroundings were beautiful and the food on site was well cooked and good value for money. If peace and tranquility is what you want then this is the place. There was a lovely indoor pool with sauna and steam room to use and a gym if you wanted it. Also a really nice pub a 5 min walk away
Julie from Driffield (08 May 2017)

Relaxing and fun family weekend away. Great place.
Clare from Cardiff (01 May 2017)

Woodland lodges were extremely scruffy and in poor condition, hence, we moved straight away into one of the recently refurbished apartments which was great.
Jonathan (28 April 2017)

A lovely break with lots to do. . I didn't think much of the colour of the swimming pool water though
Emma (24 April 2017)

Had a fantastic break would book again :)
Melissa from St7 8Ae (21 April 2017)

Great accommodation. Lovely quality and very clean. Kitchen nicely well equipped. Would definitely stay again. The only thing that slightly let it down was that we had to chase the cot and high chair we had pre-booked (as did the 3 other couples we book
Laura from Bath (21 April 2017)

We all had a wonderful time. Thank you!
David from Kidderminster (21 April 2017)

All great apart from the food at the foresters restaurant
Sheridan (17 April 2017)

A lovely clean & quiet park. We stayed in a log cabin (3) overlooking the lake. The accommodation was well equipped and had comfortable beds. Also, it was a good place to take our dogs as there were lots of grass areas, dog bins, & a woodland walk right beside it. The local pub 'the fountain'was well worth a visit (if you want to eat off site-also dog friendly)
Adele from Exeter (14 April 2017)

Lovely holiday, apartment was modern, comfortable and clean. Site facilities really good and food from the restaurant lovely as well.. would definitely stay again.
Sarah from Derby (10 April 2017)

Lovely place really enjoyed
Paul (10 April 2017)

Disappointed with the atmosphere too many local people using the facilities which made it feel less like a holiday.
Gail from Sandbach (07 April 2017)

Better than expected. All staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Charlie led our activities and was great. He worked so hard in many areas. The log cabin was very nice and well-equipped with everything you need and a good variety of things to do in the park and outside. We were really pleased with our choice.
Heather from Sevenoaks (07 April 2017)

Unfortunately it rained most of the time, other than swimming there was nothing else to do as no activities on the week we were there. No pool or indoor table tennis.
Susan from Leicester (31 March 2017)

We stayed in a log cabin with our dog and just being able to head out into the country for walks was lovely. The facilities and the pool were wonderful
Julie from Tamworth (24 March 2017)

We booked a log cabin with a hot tub. Lovely stay. Great clean accomadation. Great facilities. Would definately visit this park again.
Sarah from Gloucester (20 March 2017)

Lovely long weekend. Just could have done with a few more electrical sockets in the apartment but otherwise not much else could have been done for the price we paid
Sarah from Taunton (20 March 2017)

Great break at a great park although bar and restaurant both being closed due to building work didn't impact on our stay we ate and drank in the venue . only slight moan the wifi only worked when in the venue not in the apartment + I know that mobile reception in most of the forest of dean is poor or non existent but in the 21st century as much as we would like to be away from everything you need to keep in touch as a say its only a slight moan thanks for a great stay
Dave from Rugby (13 March 2017)

Unfortunately refurbishment was taking place which we weren't made aware of, so some activities were not available. The pool and changing rooms were a bit dirty.
Customer 112 (10 March 2017)

An excellent short break with good facilities. the activity booking process was very weak - I received no information & had to keep ringing up to find out what was available & when/how to book. on site the list was available but since we stayed during 1/2 term I wanted to pre-book to get availability. Spa was excellent as was the pool
Sue from North Wales (24 February 2017)

Building work going on, which we were not aware of before arriving, was slightly disappointing but overall the park was excellent - facilities, pool, surroundings and staff were all fantastic, especially the go active opportunities. Lovely quiet feel to the park even when very busy during half term. Thoroughly recommend.
Amanda from Evesham (24 February 2017)

Disappointed that we were not told about the building work at time of booking. Reception staff not welcoming at all and felt like we were a burden for just checking in. Good night entertainment and pool and gym. Some of the bar staff also not friendly. Pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. Some good activities in surrounding area but will never visit gloucester city again!! overall a good short break and the kids loved it - the pool and night entertainment made the holiday.
Catrin (24 February 2017)

We asked for 3 units together, when we arrived 2 were together and 1 in another block some way away
Christopher from Milton Keynes (13 February 2017)

Taking a dog to the park there should be areas where you can sit and have a drink, unfortunately the outside seating area had no patio heaters and it was december! you pay extra to take a dog too. accommodation ok but kitchens need updating, no markings on the oven and taps need replacing. It also smelt when we first arrived in the apartment and was freezing so putting the heating on before arrival would be helpful
Alexandra from Leicester (30 December 2016)

The food was expensive and not the best but we had a fantastic 3 day break and would return. The accomodation the apartments were amazing just watch the steps in the frost .
Sharon from Wolverhampton (30 December 2016)

Brilliant holiday park, very clean, good staff and facilities. . . suggestion: some of the activities are for over 7's - I understand the insurance issues but my little boy who is nearly 6 was limited by choice as a result.
Kelly (30 December 2016)

Cabins slightly nearer to each other than other places however still a reasonable amount of privacy. Lovely area access to gym and free wifi
Philip (23 September 2016)

Loved it plenty of outdoor activities in lovely surroundings
Angela from Dursley (19 September 2016)

Really nice last minute family getaway. Apartment lovely and spacious. Facilities on site excellent. Would highly recommend
Vicki-Leanne (16 September 2016)

Had a really lovely holiday, the forest of dean is a real gem!!!
Rhiannon from Derbyshire (09 September 2016)

Accomodation was brilliant for a small family with a dog and was nicely suprised to see all mod cons in the woodland lodge with loo roll and washing up bits included!!. the foresters bar had a good selection of drinks and meals and the takeaway service was great after a long hike in the forest it was great to walk up to the bar and pick up your food to chill out in the lodge. . the pool was nice and the steam and sauna rooms were great. The location was lovely and we saw lots of wildlife from our verandah. I would definately recommend this park to friends with children or dogs.
Wendy from Bicester (29 August 2016)

Good clean site . staff friendly and very helpful with good activities for children of all ages. We were w couple and still enjoyed the facilities
Paul from Stourbridge Wm (29 August 2016)

Lovely time away. Beautiful park. Very relaxing. Appartment accommodation comfortable, spacious modern, clean and tidy. Kids loved the activities. Pool was great although looked murky due to heavy bather load as it was august. Our only gripe was the receptionist when we arrived and booked out could do better with customer service. Not very welcoming ! would stay again and recommend to family / friends
Paul from Portsmouth (26 August 2016)

Really good evening entertainment for families. . could do with more "signed in" activities for kids during the school holidays and on weekends. . indoor facilities for bad weather could be improved. It rained for two out of the three days of our stay and the indoor pool was crowded and the soft play area is very small. The indoor areas are also quite dull and lack natural light.
Marc from Wokingham (22 August 2016)

A lovely location, we spent time at the resort & also in the beautiful surrounding areas. staff where very helpful, and it was always clean. the only small concern for us was the disco was very loud & could be heard from our cabin til quite late at night. Having said that we would come back for another holiday
Jill from Bucks (15 August 2016)

We had a fantastic time beautiful surroundings very welcoming and friendly staff our children had plenty to do without spending money looking forward to returning in october
Gemma from Wellington Shropshire (15 August 2016)

Unbelievable place. . well recommended
Darren from Reading (12 August 2016)

Staff very friendly and helpful..lots of open and safe places for children..accommodation although looking a bit dated and tired in places was clean and tidy.
Paul from Skegness (08 August 2016)

Another fantastic weekend away at whitemead. Did not disappoint yet again.
Emma from Carmarthen (08 August 2016)

When we arrived we were so exhausted after our long journey from essex after being gridlocked on the pathetic m25 the biggest car parkin the uk. We were eager to collect our keys to our log cabins. We opened the door and couldn't believe how spacious they were and the cleanliness of them and how morden the furniture and furnishings were. We loved having the veranda area as we felt like we had villas. We had booked with some other family so we were also pleased how closely they had placed us on the park couldn't fault the accommodation.
Alan from Benfleet Essex (05 August 2016)

Brilliant holiday, excellent apartment very spacious with 2 one year olds and 4 adults. Location was lovely. Made use of hiring a bbq which was great also. Would 100% return.
Georgina from Burnham On Sea (01 August 2016)

We have holidays here every year. the site is getting better and better . the new park area out front is fab but a little on the young side, my older children wished there were swings and a bit more for them. . my only concern was the amount of children riding bikes with no helmets we saw quite a few fall off bikes with no parents to be seen. Think the park should make it compulsory to wear them .
Wayne from Birmingham (01 August 2016)

We had a brilliant holiday using whitemead as a base, with a 13 yr old son in tow the 'go active' timetable was why we booked here. The cabin we stayed in was clean and well maintained also larger than I was expecting and we were surrounded by mature trees which made it very private. . but unfortunately the activities seemed to be aimed at younger kids so we found our entertainment elsewhere, and we didn't use any of the facilities on the site :(
Joanne (01 August 2016)

Once again we had a fantastic break the facilities and entertainment were great, the staff were excellent always friendly, helpful and always cheerful we have already started planning our next visit and recommending the site to our neighbours.
Glynn from Newport Gwent (29 July 2016)

Fab place! staff were extremely helpful and friendly. children loved it..lots to do. Fab place for adults to unwind!
Ben from Dudley (29 July 2016)

Lovely lodge well kept park, beautiful surroundings we had a lovely holiday.
Julie from Washington (22 July 2016)

Really enjoyed our first stay at the park. Will definitely come back. The kids lived the pool but it was a shame the new park hadn't been finished.
Karen (22 July 2016)

Fantastic location, nice and remote but still loads for active families to do. Would highly recommend. We will be back all the way from north east scotland. :)
John from Aberdeen (22 July 2016)

Really enjoyed our stay here lodge was a big dated however was clean and gad everything we needed.staff were fab very helpful.woukd stay there again
Karen from Lymm (22 July 2016)

We enjoyed a great 3 night stay in a log cabin at whitemead forest, with our 4 yr old daughter, grandma & grandad and our dog, oscar. . the accommodation was great, clean and well equipped. Site was always tidy and presented well. . a little disappointed the new playground wasn't completed (it was the weekend before school summer holidays) as the old one is looking a little tired. Also, splash time in the pool involves nothing more than a few flat floats and a ball or two! I think a little more imagination/investment in the pool area would be a great move for the site.
Leanne from Shipston On Stour (18 July 2016)

Wonderful relaxing location
Lynne from Whittlesey (15 July 2016)

Amazing location with great walking/cycle paths. Tranquil park. Whole family had a great holiday both my 1 year old and and 19 yearly step son.
Osheni (15 July 2016)

Had a great holiday and would definitely go back again.
Louise (11 July 2016)

The site is lovely and the are clearly working to keep it updated. We have problems with our sockets and so the electrics kept tripping the staff did come and look but there wasn't really anything they could do as they needed to get an electrician in so we just had to keep resetting it. Despite this the apartment was good value for money, clean and spacious.
Gemma from Oxfordshire (11 July 2016)

Useful base to tour the region - central and easy to get to and from.
Clive from West Sussex (04 July 2016)

Had a great time. Chalets clean and well equipped.
Jane from Southampton (04 July 2016)

Had a fabulous time and will definitely go back there in
