Had a great time will be going back next year
Allan (08 September 2018)

Excellent facilities, friendly staff and a lovely setting. highly recommended.
Jean from Doncaster (07 September 2018)

The caravan was very clean and comfortable and well equipped. The site is great for young children.
Anthony from Worthing (03 September 2018)

The caravan was not cood
Mark from Sidmouth (31 August 2018)

I really couldn't fault our week at west bay. The location was stunning, the kids loved all of the activities and the staff were brilliant.
Eleanor (31 August 2018)

The caravan was in good condition although dirty tissues under the bed indicated that cleaning was rushed. The pool facilities were not available to use as the pool is small and was full and there was no time limit for those in the pool and numbers are restricted. So get to the pool early or you won’t be allowed in at all!
Sue (27 August 2018)

We enjoyed our trip and it was perfect for what we wanted. great location, perfect for exploring the jurassic coast.
Kevin from Witney (25 August 2018)

Excellent time. Caravan was absolutely perfect
Kim from London (20 August 2018)

Pros: . great location. 5 minutes to a lovely beech . interesting area. Lovely food in the area. Cons:. swimming pool not big enough to accommodate all on a rainy day. Water in swimming pool dirty. Limited parking
Galin from 5 Minutes To A Lovely Beech (18 August 2018)

Caravan was showing it's age. Generally quite good apart from the toilet which could do with replacing. Position of the caravan was very handy for everything.
John from Hemel Hempstead (18 August 2018)

Rented two caravans 11/08/2018 both not very clean and site facilities run down
Denise from Nottinghamshire (18 August 2018)

Beautiful location but the park and facilities could be so much better. Lots of people moaning about the steep prices in the bar and club when already paying high price for a week's holiday. Swimming pool is great but nightly entertainment a bit drab and think a games area with a couple more pool tables would be better for older children. Shop is super expensive for necessities. It's a shame. Would return to west bay but not to your park. Will try another resort as heard good reports on one down the road. Think you're missing a trick as you could potentially have something very good.
Veronica (17 August 2018)

Dorset is lovely. The caravan park was ok but the caravan itself wasn’t. It should have been a lot cleaner and the beds were very uncomfortable.
Laura from Leamington Spa (11 August 2018)

Location is superb , harbour is a stone throw away from the bar , brilliant for children as loads to do from outdoor park to soft play / indoor pool or crabbing on the harbour . facility's were clean and staff were friendly although they were short staffed on our visit , my daughter loved the evening entertainment with all the different characters on stage , fun full packed week with plenty of laughter and good food ( must try the fresh sea food restaurant opposite park ) we will be back next year .
Matthew from Berkshire (11 August 2018)

As it was only me and the husband that went it was lovely, the surrounding area is beautiful, so many young children crabbing in the harbour and, playing on the beach. i'm glad my teenage daughter was away with explorers and didn't come with us. this place is no good for teenagers. it's fantastic for the younger family. I gave the facilities as a 1 because you can't get on their wifi, there swimming pool if you wanted a swim, adults had to get up at 9.00 for an hour other wise it's all geared up the children, which is good for the children, I realise happy children equals happy parents! we only went in once and stayed for about 15 mins! whilst we where there they had a festival on that is worth seeing. it's worth looking up to see when it's on and try and book your holiday for when its on. . summary. Fantastic for young families. Not good for teenagers.
Sarah (11 August 2018)

The location is fantastic, close to the beach, restaurants and stunning harbour.
Mandy from Bedford (10 August 2018)

Every thing went to plan. The caravan was even better than we expected it even had an integrated washing machine and dish washer and the freesat tv superior quality on the 42inch hdtv. The views from our wrap around veranda were beautiful. We were located on the footpath to bridport and made acquaintanceship with many of the dog walkers and used it frequently to walk our dog.
Raymond (10 August 2018)

Helpful staff, nice, clean and very good location!
Gemma from Doncaster (10 August 2018)

Used to camp here years ago and didn’t want to be disappointed coming back. It was wonderful. We had great weather too. Caravan was great and had everything we needed. Would definitely go back
Lisa from Southampton (06 August 2018)

Ab . brilliant time the staff were so helpful especially at the bars. Entertainment was great thank you for making our family holiday brilliant.
Ron from Evesham (06 August 2018)

Que at the bar was very long every day. Staff were polite apart from the bar manager man that didn’t apologise or give a reason for the kids dinners taking over a hour, I had to ask for my money back and he still care. Poor customer service from him but nobody else. The entertainers were great with the kids and put 100 % effort in every day. Caravan was very clean.
Laurie from Sevenoaks Kent (04 August 2018)

Having been to many holiday sites this was one of the worse. the caravan was small and not particularly good quality. the whole site was poor.
Ghislaine (04 August 2018)

The location is fantastic. The accommodation is great although we did have a constantly dripping shower head. The facilities and club are great, however, the restaurant is dirty and parts of it need refurbishing and painting, tables are sticky, we ordered food and were then told it would be another hour wait to have puddings!!! no-one that I know orders pudding at the same time as the main meal. There is a takeaway menu but not advertised apart a small sign at the top of the bar that you can't see. The restaurant closes too early especially on a sunday. The club tables were never cleared so you had to clear your own table or sit with a load of other peoples dirty glasses and leftover drinks and snacks. The tables were never wiped down so were dirty and sticky. Quite often there was only one person serving behind the bar causing queues. The club entertainment was disappointing, although the team were really friendly and interacted well, they tried their best and did a good job but they were not great and not something you want to see every night. Best night was our last night when there was entertainment sourced in. Toilets in club smell and often lacked toilet paper in the evenings. Shop was good and staff in there were great. Arcade was good but could do with another member of staff working as the one guy was trying to fix machines and deal with undecisive children trying to exchange their tickets.
Claire from Pershore (04 August 2018)

We went as a family of 4 with a 3yr old and a 5 yr old. The park and facilities were clean, the playground and pool were safe and suitable for our children and also for older children. We did not take part in the evening entertainment or kids clubs so I cannot comment on those, but we did run into sid seagull, one of the mascots in the restaurant one morning which was good fun for the boys. the arcade on site was also fun for children and had lots of machines which even younger ones could play and some were only 10p or 2p play. Tickets were gained by playing and could be exchanged for small prizes which was nice. The food in the restaurant/bar on site was good and reasonably priced and had a nice outdoor seating area, overlooking the harbour. . west bay is small but has everything you need and bridport is a short car ride away. We did enjoy our holiday and were impressed with the facilities at the park and would return in the future.
Katherine from Coventry (03 August 2018)

We had a very nice holiday and the children loved it. I just wish west bay has some disabled caravans. bathrooms too small in mist vans plus I really need to sit down during shower. so continually had back ache when showered so had to make them really quick.
Janet from Bury Lancashire (30 July 2018)

The location is wonderful, straight out into lovely west bay, with beach, shops, pubs and restaurants all on the doorstep. The park is fine - our caravan was adequate and spotless and roomy, just a bit tired. Staff were great. just felt it was overpriced, but that's the school holiday mark up for you.
Lesley from Portsmouth (30 July 2018)

Great site location and the accommodation was good. Staff were pleasant and accomodating but the entertainment was 'light weight' for the children.
Paul from Warrington (28 July 2018)

Can't wait to go back to west bay. very relaxful holiday in an area of outstanding beauty. picture postcard villages with thatched roofs (why isn't it rooves as in hoof, hooves).
Edward from Chorley (28 July 2018)

Amazing family hoilday
Emma from Bedford (28 July 2018)

Very enjoyable but entertainment for adults poor.
Dawn from Farnborough (27 July 2018)

West bay itself is beautiful. The few staff we came across we’re friendly. The caravan we got was basic which isn’t a problem but it was grubby, when we came to pack away we found rubbish from previous guests under the beds. Basic shouldn’t mean unclean. Oven wouldn’t ignite, member of staff came out straight away with a lighter, we were told by another member of staff it’s too expensive for a gas safe plumber so they hadn’t bothered to fix it properly!. spent an hour in the evening with the children in the amusements, 20 minutes of this was spent waiting for the one member of staff to fix a malfunctioning machine, he was rushed of his feet. Pool nice for the children as was the play park.
Rachel from Lincoln (27 July 2018)

Nice site. Laid out well. Loved the general area. Good walks etc for dogs. Van was rather basic.
June from Bognor Regis (16 July 2018)

We had a great holiday on west bay the staff were friendly and helpful caravan was clean and tidy. The area around west bay is lovely so much to do and see . the food on site was a bit hit and miss on certain days but there are other places to eat not far away which compensated for this .
Mandy (14 July 2018)

Very good value for money caravan very clean, only grouse dogs in restaurant not a good idea plenty of room outside to sit and eat with dogs ,ian a pet lover I have a dog myself but I certainly would not impose him on other holiday makers this put me and my partner off from eating in the restaurant.you have excellent take away places scattered about the bay which they could buy and take back to their caravan then eat . with their dogs
Barbara from Hertfordshire (13 July 2018)

Was not too bad but the food was terrible and very over priced , our carvery wasn't even eatable. and the evening entertainment was exactly the same every night.
Emily from Weston (09 July 2018)

Fantastic location, huge caravan with all mod cons. Loved it!
Michelle from Chester (09 July 2018)

Excellent setting, small park very relaxed. Just across from the harbour and a short stroll to the beach
Lynn from Old Langho (29 June 2018)

Beautiful place with nice flat walks, everything you need from a caravan holiday,
Mark from Cardiff (23 June 2018)

Had a fab time
Catherine from Ludgershall Nr Andover Hants (22 June 2018)

Absolutely beautiful location and ideal for small children. West bay park also ideal for our 2 year old with morning activities, soft play, swimming pool, outdoor playground and early evening disco & entertainment. Also, accommodation was great. It was our first experience of a static caravan, and were very pleasantly surprised at the high quality of it all. Good value for money all round.
Gb from Derbyshire (18 June 2018)

Upon arriving to find broken smoke alarm on the table. very tired looking internal caravan not value for the price I paid.
Lisa from Nottinghamshire (18 June 2018)

A fantastic place all you can ask for, the kiddies park was very good, the pool was well looked after and the life guards were very helpful and friendly. The entertainment was very good. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly would stay again
Steven from Plymouth (15 June 2018)

Excellent location, nicely laid out site. . static van just as expected, comfy and relaxing. . only negative was number of dogs left tethered out side units, which naturally barked and growled at passing guests. Would have been intimidating for people nervous of dogs.
Mike from Brierley Hill (15 June 2018)

Very disappointed with the supposed specially selected caravan, over priced and basic, also sited next to a busy road with cars speeding along it. site looked tired and in need of tlc. we have been to one of parkdeans other sites which was excellent and had expected the same. . despite this we had a lovely holiday, the area of west bay and beyond very nice, but we would look for a different site in future.
Lynda (02 June 2018)

A stunning location. We had a wheelchair accessible caravan that was perfect. Lovely & clean.
Jeanette from Stoke On Trent (02 June 2018)

We had a lovely holiday great weather . very clean and helpful staff .
Della from Bristol (01 June 2018)

Beautiful place, clean campsite. Very accessible with easy walk to beach.
Sarah from Uxbridge (01 June 2018)

Lovely place, not too big, not too small. Nice size play park for the kids and an indoor soft play for the little one. In door pool was warm with two slides, one for big kids and one for small kids. My little one loved the small pool and being able to walk around it on her own. Really built up her water confidence. Only problem it was a bit small and got manic at times with a few big kids spoiling it for the little ones but at busy times staff limited time to swim. Small shop on site handy. We didn't use the entertainment in the end but looked quite good and wasn't all night nor was it really loud which is great if you've got tired small children in bed. Town of west bay is gorgeous with a lovely little beach and cliff walks. Fantastic fish and chips places and beautiful harbour. We shall be visiting again.
Kathleen from Burnham On Sea (01 June 2018)

Lovely location right in the centre of west bay, quiet site at night. We did ask for a clean sheet early in the week which we never received but apart from that the site was great. Entertainment was not the best i’ve seen and very samey but the kids loved the party dances. Caravan was lovely and clean and well stocked with equipment. We had teo vans booked and all 13 of us loved it and will definately visit again
Karen from Bognor Regis (01 June 2018)

We're a couple with a toddler. The area was really family friendly. Loads of choice to eat from pubs to stalls with fast food. Great chippy and loads of seafood choice around generally. Only thing for us was the room in caravan for our travel cot. We ended up pushing the two single beds together to put it on. Didn't turn out a problem though. Kitchen well equipped. Didnt use much of the entertainment at night as needed to get little one to bed but looked like there was plenty to enjoy.
Kimberley from Stratford-Upon-Avon (26 May 2018)

Fantastic
Bernadette (21 May 2018)

The park is too crowded squeezed together with not enough parking. We booked a cheap caravan because we toke our dogs but the one we had was uncomfortable and should have been scrapped years ago
Timothy (18 May 2018)

We all enjoyed a fabulous family midweek break here recently. Four adults & a lively 3 year old we all had great fun. Great park facilities & a good choice of quality restaurants within walking distance, as is the beach & quaint harbour at the entrance to the park. West bay is a truly delightful place to visit. We had a couple of heating issues in our caravan which were only partially resolved & we were constantly adjusting the boiler!
Diane (04 May 2018)

The long weekend was great and the west bay site was just right foe me and my partner
Grenville from Dursley (30 April 2018)

Overall a very positive experience. Our 3 bedroom seahorse caravan was comfortable, clean and well-equipped. The site was not too big (just how we like it). the location was scenic and also a good base for exploring further. Great facilities for our one year old grandson to enjoy - softplay, outdoor play park and one of the most pleasant indoor pools we've experienced at a holiday park. The staff were friendly and helpful too.
Shelley from Brighton (27 April 2018)

Too many homes crammed in, drainage an issue if it rains the layout is not very good, you can hear the noise from the next homes, not experienced this before from previous holidays, . not enough room to get 2 cars should you have an 8 berth home

We hired 3 caravans 2 off which the electric went and the gas the reception staff were laid back about it like it’s nothing ! when u have children and no heating hot water not exceptable the plots around the caravan where thick mud ! we all have had dinner in the club house restaurant we waitied over 1 hr and 15 mins for our dinner and then was missing out items ! very disappointed
Kerry from Wallington , Surrey (09 April 2018)

We arrived on 2nd april. We were given the keys to the mobile home on arrival but was very disappointed when entering to find it smelling of stale cigarette smoke. I went to reception to complain but was told we couldn’t have a different one as there wasn’t any. 10 mins later they did send a very apologetic lady round to de fog the home to clear it of the smell. 12 hrs later back to the way it was when we arrived. . came home after 4 days. . had enough. These park homes need to be thoroughly checked over before the keys are handed over. Bad management......

If it rains we found that in a lot of cases people were stepping out of their caravan into 4 inches of water . not my idea of fun

We had a lovely stay in a marlin caravan at west bay over easter. The caravan was perfect for our family of two adults and two children, it was clean, modern and well-equipped, and very warm for a chilly march visit. It's very compact so any more guests, or more adults, would probably be a bit squished. The location is great, west bay is a nice little area, it's only a few minutes walk to the beach and there are shops and cafes nearby, and a really good playground. It's also very easy to get to other places e.g. Charmouth for fossil hunting, only 15-20 min drive. The caravan park facilities are fine but we didn't use them much as we were out and about - the pool was okay although not massive, soft play area fine for under 5s.

We booked a crayfish caravan, on arrival we found we were in a private caravan, which was fab. The caravan was very comfy with central heating & decking which was great as we had a dog with us. As it was a private caravan it had loads of extras including books/dvds, which we made use of. We only used the site as a base so didn’t use any of the parks facilities. There was a great fish & chip shop right outside of the site entrance, lovely fish & basically we had 2 portions for the price you’d pay for 1 in the local bars, just a shame it didn’t open sunday evenings. If we were to return to this area we would definitely come back & request the same caravan, thank you to whoever the caravan belongs to.

All great, pity we did not receive a doormat, but everything else was fine. Excellent help from staff, could not do enough for you, excellent quality caravan, excellent area.
Alan from St Germans Cornwall (16 March 2018)

We visited out of season with a preschooler. It was wonderful! the staff were so friendly and even the wet weather didn't dampen the fun!

Alan from St Germans Cornwall (16 March 2018)

We visited out of season with a preschooler. It was wonderful! the staff were so friendly and even the wet weather didn't dampen the fun!

I am writing this to express my extreme disappointment with our weekend break at your westbay park. This was the first time we have ever taken a long weekend break and the first time with our westie dog. . I understand that it is march but the place we were given to stay was waterlogged and very very muddy. We could have tried to avoid the mud but impossible with the dog as the mud was surrounding the entrance to the caravan and all around. It's been about 20 years since we last visited a caravan park when the children were growing up and I cannot recall staying in such bad conditions. . the experience has totally turned us away from such a holiday break. We don't mind the rain, cold etc. But we do expect a reasonable environment.

Although you pay for entertainment passes most of the facilities are open to the public without a pass. We hired a seahorse centrally heated caravan at the beginning of november, we had a couple of frosty nights and struggled to keep the caravan warm.
Brian from Cwmbran (10 November 2017)

Beautiful cosy dolphin caravan . lovely park just across the road from harbour ,nice pubs and a few shops . very good area which is around 2 miles from bridport lovely market on wednesdays with stalls selling various items scattered through the streets .dorchester and weymouth also worth a visit. Lyme regis around 8 miles and a great place to visit , very nice little shops selling beautiful things. Really enjoyed our stay and would defiantly recommend. Thank you west bay for a great break.

I have been here every year for the last for years . I know what to expect for the park and you pay for what you get. However when you have a caravan with no path to it l, and you have to walk through a marsh to get to your door I do not think this is acceptable. also there was damp in the bedroom and the caravan was less then a year old.

Carole from Plymouth (30 October 2017)

Westbay is ideally located with harbour, cliffs and beach within easy walk of campsite. Entertainment staff work hard, and even though "lizzy the lizard" has never won starland crazy (after 10 days at a parkdean resort), my 5 year old enjoyed his stay. . only criticism is that the bars seemed understaffed in the evening.

Despite a couple of niggles about the hospitality in the restaurant, it was overall a very relaxing holiday in a lovely area. Staff helpful and friendly and good facilities. Main downfall - in evenings, not enough seating, had to stand. Seemed packed in too.
Karen from Watford (27 October 2017)

Very good apart from parking .in the bays on the road the lines are too close together so you cant get doors open on cars, and should be more spaces
Adrian from Alton (27 October 2017)

Brilliant few days. Accommodation was warm and comfortable with everything we needed.

Caravan was nice and clean, but missing a dining chair and then got given a stained chair from the bar. gch pressure was low and didn't work, but security was quick to sort it. . found the pool was not accessible for people with disabilities as getting in and out was hugely difficult. Music was horrendously loud in the swimming pool which we also heard back at our caravans, which did not make our time in the pool fun. . parking was difficult, especially where we were as ground was flooded making it difficult to get in and out.

Great holiday in westbay. Very friendly staff. Was just me and my 3 year old and we were made to feel very welcome. The entertainment staff were great. Little one loved all the activities we joined in with and the music in the evenings. The swimming pool was good fun too and sean most days! great location being so close to the sea front. And lovely fish and chips right in the doorstep! we were on a budget and having great kitchen facilities really helped. Even did a roast dinner 1 night! x

Lovely camp but our caravan was too far from complex could not see any shows as too far to walk to travelled with my 90 year old mother . it would be ago of idea to have a little train going around camp at intervals to pick people up

We loved our holiday at west bay, the caravan was spotlessly clean beds were comfortable as was the rest of the caravan, even when it rained all night and the ground around the caravan was flooded , it did,nt bother us, we just took our shoes and socks off and paddled to dry ground, it just added to the fun, and in our group of 4 not one of us was under 60 years old. We will be back

Great holiday and location, I only gave 5 rating for value as I paid over 500 pounds for a full week for a mediocre caravan when I have had top of the range one through sun holiday for well fraction of the cost.

Although we didn't stay on the park much, it was a good base to visit weymouth, poole and brownsea island and the surrounding area. The local pub/diner situated near the harbour provided good food and drink.

Caravans are too tightly packed together, lack of parking spaces and the ones that are available are as small as possible, our caravan didn't even have it's own space, yet cheaper ones did, go figure. West bay is nice but the site is not, only go if you enjoy being a sardine with your neighbours and enjoy hunting for a small parking space.
Marcus from Gloucester (11 September 2017)

The site is now jam packed with caravans, parking awful, very over priced, but westbay itself lovely.
Annette (11 September 2017)

We love west bay !!
Stephen from Andover (08 September 2017)

Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic. what a great place to stay, we all had a great time. now we know why families return year after year and we will be one of those too now. ideal location, everything you need on the doorstep. we were blessed with good weather, giving us the opportunity to make the most of the beaches, enjoying a great british holiday.
Carrie from Wolverhampton (02 September 2017)

Clean well run site ...caravan was bang on spec as advertised , web site kept crashing and wouldn't load with the discounted price , several attempts with visa to no avail. Finally got thro and had missed the deal if there was one . had to go to next van up and extra £100 ....nearly went elsewhere , caravan was clean but dog hairs surfaced during week ,we have no dog ....arrived slightly early on booking ,got the impression rightly or wrongly that hoeseaesons customers where less priority . great place will use again
Chris from Wolves (02 September 2017)

Lovely, clean, spacious caravan. Location of caravan park is great! food at the park restaurant wasn't very good, but there are plenty of delicious places around.
Daniel from Bury St Edmunds (02 September 2017)

Location was great, with beaches & walks close by. Perfect too for days out to poole, weymouth, family farms etc. The luxury caravan was perfect for the family. . the entertainment had something for everyone (and we ranged from 1 year old to 80 year old). . swimming pool was overcrowded with not enough changing facilities - perhaps grouping sessions into ages would be better than 'general swim" & being open to the public did not help matters. The food in the cafe / bar was excellent, but the pool table could do with relocation, as we were unable to enjoy evening meal with the kids shouting at each other playing pool.
Jude from Knighton (02 September 2017)

Oyster caravan was lovely and well care for. additional wc was an added bonus. site situated on the harbour and although we did not use any of the facilities the site appeared quiet and clean. unfortunately, the beach was too pebbly for us but weymouth was only a short drive away.
Rebecca from Northamptonshire (01 September 2017)

Very good had such a wonderful time at westbay
Julie from Dover (01 September 2017)

Park is in a lovely location right in west bay, but its rammed with caravans all very close to each other. swimming pool is a bit small but ok for kids (although its shared with the public). kids soft play area is an embarrassment - they would have been better not bothering. staff were a mixed bag - reception staff nice, but not interested in feedback. the guy I interacted with in the harbor cafe should never be allowed in a customer facing role. coffee is apparently costa, but tasted nothing like any costa i've had before -. was told it was my fault due to the drink I had chosen. Entertainment area quite tired and oppressive. has the potential to be a great site.
Michael from Bristol (01 September 2017)

Great caravan. Lovely site. Perfect location. staff fab, just not enough of them so lots of dirty tables.
Wendy from Crowthorne (01 September 2017)

Great
Ronan (28 August 2017)

West bay is a great place (my favorite) a bit disappointed with the caravan the living area was in the middle no end window was like being in a box very small rooms but was clean with good kitchen facilities my 2 grandchildren had a great time will be back next year.
Martin from Bristol (28 August 2017)

Not much for children to do on site.
James from Bristol (28 August 2017)

Lovely area everything you need in walking distance, with beautiful views. The swimming pool is open to the public, which I was unaware of, so sometimes there was long waits to use the pool, not ideal when you have a toddler with you. Shop on the site very overpriced but morrisons a short drive away so just went there instead.
Customer 130 from Luton (26 August 2017)

Lovely quiet setting, olde-worlde type harbour village, with beach ten minutes walk away. . swimming pools on site and funfair next door. Shop on site was little expensive(as they generally are, convenience) but major supermarket five minutes drive.
Barry from London (26 August 2017)

Caravan clean and tidy. Showing it's age. Site was clean and quiet. Perhaps more facilities for older children 10 plus. Overall pleased.
Judith from Nuneaton (26 August 2017)

Facilities for both adults and children are good. . caravan was lovely and clean and the reception staff were great. Location of site was good and the shop on site was well stocked and helpful. The fish and chip shop just across the road was good too with food cooked to order. Now for the downside..the bar and the entertainment lounge was under staffed. It was dirty and empty glasses were littering the tables.. the bar staff were very busy and at times were chatting when customers queued. Whilst the entertainment team did their best, the quiz every night and other things were boring. Regrettably the restaurant was no better. Dirty tables with so few staff rushed off their feet. On 3 occasions meals costing around £10 each were presented tepid warm and every time the peas were cold. Great shame because if the entertainment, bar and food was up to a more acceptable standard the experience would be lovely. As it is, I could only recommend it if the individual cooked for themselves in their caravan and drank at the local pub off site. I can't see me returning as it is currently not good value for the money paid and spent during the week.
David (26 August 2017)

It was very nice and my grandkids enjoyed them self at that is what matters
Chris (25 August 2017)

Nice camp lovely location
Julie from Eastleigh (25 August 2017)

We stayed in an octopus caravan and we were assured it was a new caravan. The caravan had a broken fire, drippong tap and a broken light on the cooker hood. The dvd player and the cd/radio was also broken. I explained these issues to the reception whilst there and was assured they would be seen to. When I cam back to the caravan the dvd player and cooker light had been fixed but none of the other issues. The radio had been removed and no replacement in its place. I was not contacted by anyone during my stay regarding any of my issues. This was very disappointing as we had booked this particular caravan to use those specific facilities. The caravan was also her tight and snug in places.
Kevin from Polesworth (19 August 2017)

Had to constantly spray fabreeze in the seating area trying to defuse the smell of dogs .
Kay (19 August 2017)

When we first arrived, we thought the park looked a little run down, but we were pleasantly surprised by everything and had a super holiday. The mobile home was in decent condition and had a large bathroom.the kids swam everyday in the pool, we went to local beaches as well as west bay, and our teenage son was delighted by the skatepark in bridgwater. Something for everyone. Had lovely weather all week. The bar prices are reasobanle and the food good. We can also recommend the george nearby for food, but not the west bay as that was too expensive!
Philip from Fleet (19 August 2017)

I came back disappointed as was covered in flee bits,! I have been in touch with you to say all this and waiting for you to get back to me. The swimming pool we had to queue for ages. Otherwise not to bad.
Angela (19 August 2017)

Although the weather wasn't up to normal west country standards, we still enjoyed it very much. The immediate and surrounding areas were superb with great facilities. Our van was very nice and will certainly return. Totally enjoyable
Martyn from Sutton In Ashfield (18 August 2017)

Ideal for families with children. We hardly saw the grandchildren when we were on the park. . the cafe food was basic but expensive for what you got. . . all in all it was exactly what I looked for for taking the grandchildren away.
Wendy from Hampshire (12 August 2017)

Far to expensive for a rainy august week
Pamela from Palmers Greem (12 August 2017)

West bay is a beautiful place and we loved the fact we were so close to the harbour and beach overall we were happy although for the money we paid we feel our caravan was a bit tired looking and could do with a bit of a makeover lots of doors and cupboards were chipped and it was clean on the surface but if you looked to close it was dirty in places . the service in the restaurant could have been a lot better we ate in there twice but on the second occasion we waited over an hour for our meal I heard lots of customers complaining and in all fairness it wasn't that busy lots of empty tables so i'm not sure what the hold up was I went to the bar and asked twice where our food was and both times I was told it was then being put on the plates !!!!! the waitress who was older than the rest was gossiping and laughing to another member of staff about all the complaints which was very unprofessional and rude !!!!! although we didn't let this spoil our holiday.
Lisa from Norwich (12 August 2017)

The park itself was very basic the staff were very helpful entertainment was lacking not much for children's to do climbing frame and a tyre swing ,park needs up dating
Michael from Maidstone (05 August 2017)

We loved the bay with all its shops and delicious food. The pool was fab, but the arcade and shop were open to the public and on a busy through road so we couldn't let the children have as much freedom as usual. The staff were lovely and helpful and an issue with the toilet was fixed promptly. Our actual caravan was very tired, but it was clean and the shower was excellent (very important!). overall we had a good time and knew we were using west bay as a base for weymouth, but I think it was overpriced for what is available on site.
Liane from Berkshire (04 August 2017)

Had a great time bringing my elderly mum plus two dogs. Weather wasn't great but we still enjoyed west bay windy days.
Julia from Aston Clinton - Buckinghamshire (04 August 2017)

Lovely caravan, beautiful location. Only disappointment would be limited food choices
Debbie (28 July 2017)

At night the staff where very noisy when leaving from their shifts, accommodation needed to be bleached. Childrens play area was the best i've ever seen & very clean & my children loved it. For what we paid not happy & we have always used parkdean (5 times before)
Natalie (24 July 2017)

Noisy seagulls, unclean caravan, poor entertainment, expensive shop.
Jodie (21 July 2017)

Very nice.
