Have not been in a lodge before and I was not disappointed. When we first arrived we were welcomed by very friendly and helpful staff. The surroundings were beautiful and the lodge clean and inviting. Overall we had a fantastic time, the location was brilliant for exploring some beautiful coastal walks and inland walks of the Dorset countryside. The trees in the park were lovely, so many finches to be seen and wonderful birdsong - a treat to listen to. We had two sightings of deer in the park, one grazing outside a cabin. We could be as active or lazy as we wished as No one hassled us to 'join in'. The age range of our party was 4-72 year, and there was never a time when any one of us could say "I'm bored". The children loved their evening entertainment, whilst we admired the energy, patience and sense of fun of those providing it! The staff at the ski centre were very good. As our 11 year old son had never been skiing before this was an ideal opportunity to see if he liked it and he did....
