The cottage is in an excellent location and it was beautiful and clean. The kids were never bored as there was plenty nearby to do and see and an excellent garden for the kids. Very safe and secure and the local amenities were excellent - particularly the village butcher. Loved it, loved it, loved it, and can't wait to return! Mrs L from Liverpool
It was great to be able to do good walks from the door, and to be so close to an excellent pub. Mrs M from Newark

Brook Cottage is fabulous - utterly recommended! Mrs S
I thought the cottage we stayed in was very spacious and well equipped for a family of seven and a dog and the area surrounding was excellent with walks, shops and pubs virtually on the doorstep. Mrs A from Peterborough
The cottage was lovely, the pub was 20 metres away and people surronding the cottage were friendly. The cottage was very accessible to nearby shops and a petrol station, and wasn't much of a drive to the town. The cottage was well presented and cosy and had nice comfortable furnishings. I would definitely recommend the holiday to anyone, and I would go there again! Much appreciated. Miss M from Carlisle
Beautiful cottage, great location, local pub. Mrs W from Stone
The cottage was warm, well resourced and eat to relax in. The cottage was well placed in term of access to local towns and facilities. Ms B from Morpeth
The kitchen was especially well kitted out which helped us with a young baby in the party. Mr B from Beckenham

The cottage is very comfortable, the standard of furnishings etc very good and it is well located for easy access to the Peak District. Mrs S from North Hykeham
I would sincerely recommend this cottage to families. Our two small children loved the Peak District and the proximity to the Peaks/Heights of Abraham and day to day activities ensured they were not in the car too long. The accommodation was better than expected - we could not have wished for more. Mr R from London
What a wonderful holiday! The cottage was immaculate, in a great location and it was the perfect short break for a romantic, walking holiday. The ultimate bonus was a great traditional pub right on our doorstep - we will definitley be re-booking! Miss W from Colchester
A very good location and the cottage was lovely! Mrs L from Buckingham

A nice, clean cottage and easy for touring. Mrs R from Welling
A fabulous cottage, beautiful countryside with lots of great walks, dog friendly (a must!), and friendly locals. We almost feel like locals when we visit - this is my favourite holiday destination! Mr C from Lydney
Our stay at Two Dales Cottages was out of this world, the cottage is fantastic and beautifully kept, and we had a very pleasant welcome from our hostess. Highly recommended and we are already booked for next year! Ms C from Birmingham
Superb accommodation, a wonderful location, a great butcher in the village within walking distance, and a good pub opposite. There is lots to see and do in the area, we only stayed a weekend so we need to come back to see more. Mrs H from Gravesend
A great location and a spotless cottage with all facilites. It was easy to get in contact with owner if there was an emergency, and we would consider staying there again. Miss H from Bolton
A beautiful location, lovely scenery, lots to do, and the cottage was immaculately clean, cosy and well equipped. Miss N from Birmingham
I don't want to recommend this holiday in case it gets too popular and we cannot get booked in! Seriously, this was the best holiday decision we have made for a holiday for just the two of us and the dogs. A lovely cottage, fantastic locals and the area is just so beautiful. I cannot understand why anyone would want to go abroad when we have such wonderful places in this country. Mrs J from Shrewsbury
I certainly could recommend our holiday to others seeking the same away-from-it-all experience, and the accommodation could not have been bettered. Being within close access to a friendly local pub meant we could dispense with use of the car in the evening if we wanted. Mrs S from King's Lynn
The cottage was excellent, well appointed, clean and charming in a beautiful location - would recommend to anyone. Mr T from Birmingham
It was in a good position as it was not too near the centre of Matlock which can be very busy, and was in a small little village with just a local pub, post office and Spar. Therefore if you want the quiet, but to be near the small towns of Matlock and Matlock Bath then this is ideal! Mrs L from Bury
The accommodation is great value for money. It is in a lovely peaceful location, yet still near to the main road so great for access to the other towns and villages in the area. Miss O from Coventry
A great get away, peaceful and relaxing in traditional surroundings. Beautiful country side lots of places to visit. A place you can call heaven. Ms K from Manchester
A lovely cottage in a nice spot! Mrs T from Newcastle
Good value for money! Mrs F from York
A very clean and nice place, so relaxing, a nice pub next door and great value for your money! Ms C from Thurmaston
