Spent a very good week here on this site. I found it to be very clean, grounds well kept, good facilities, very pleasant staff, and reasonable prices. It is also in a nice location but I would certainly recommend transport unless you want to just stay on the camp. . overall an excellent site.
Michael from Newcastle Staffs (08 September 2018)

Regular holiday maker at sunbeach and intend to go again as often as possible, love the place and the people there.
Rosemary from Rubery Worcestershire (07 September 2018)

Superior 2 was a very good caravan. All the kitchen utensils, bed linens etc were new and clean, very family friendly.
Anonymous (03 September 2018)

Wonderful caravan quiet location nice and relaxing.
Wayne from Aldridge (03 September 2018)

The site was a fab site only a few minutes walk to the beach. The pool and parks were a big hit with the kids. Only down side which is true of most caravan sites were noisy neighbours
Marie from Birmingham (02 September 2018)

Never again. Accommodation ok but facilities minimal
Diane from Warrington (01 September 2018)

Fabulous place to take younger children. Caravan modern and clean. Pool area great. . staff so friendly and helpful.
Irene from Merseyside (31 August 2018)

Caravan was in immaculate condition and the staff were super helpful and friendly. We all had a fantastic holiday. It pays to look into the local areas before arrival especially if your used to a city or town life as the shops are about 15mins away and site restaurant is shut on mondays.
Customer 8 (27 August 2018)

Fantastic family holiday, caravan had everything a family of 5 needed. Wonderful park with brilliant amenities wouldn’t fault anything
Danielle (27 August 2018)

We had a lovely week at sunbeach. The caravan was excellent, really clean and new. I would recommend this site.
Amanda (25 August 2018)

A very friendly site with good facilities and a very clean brand new van..... if they could just make the sun shine a bit more in wales the holiday would have ben perfect!
Matthew from Llwingwryll (24 August 2018)

Excellent week spent at sunbeach. . the word that comes to mind is spotless - all aspects from the caravan to the swimming pool were cleaned perfectly. . the caravan (superior 2) was much bigger than expected and had everything you need for a week away. . the beach is quite rocky however when the tide is out there is plenty of sand for the kids to play in. . . the swimming pool was great for both kids and adults and the local beers behind the bar were very nice indeed and well priced. in fact everything on site was very reasonably priced considering the captive audience. . . excellent time, will visit again soon.
Elliot from Shrewsbury (20 August 2018)

Couldn’t fault the caravan it was really clean and well equipped, swimming pool was ok but a bit of a free for all as no life guard so older children just do as they want and don’t obey the pool rules, the bar was ok but no entertainment except for a weekend which I find strange in the summer holidays. No activities for kids so I would say it’s definitely not a family site, more like for the elderly that wish to sit and watch the sea all day. You have to have a car if staying at this site as nearest shop 20 mins away and site shop only stocks very basic supplies.
Darran from Stafford (18 August 2018)

If you are after a beautiful but quiet spot this is the place! not loads of entertainment on compared to other bigger family sites but peaceful and stunning location.
Paul from Blaydon Upon Tyne (17 August 2018)

Caravan was lovely, clean and modern, central heating when needed, well equipped. great location by the sea except for the pebble beach, my dog has problem pads and hurt them, so couldn't use it again, had to find a sandy beach. didn't use the shop or pool. dogs not allowed in bar . couldn't use restaurant because of dog, but shut mondays/tuesdays anyway, we stayed monday - thursday. much further from barmouth than expected, but a lovely location, lovely little town of tywyn 15 minutes drive (8 mile away). barmouth between 10 -12 miles away using toll road (.75pew). staff friendly and helpful. would definitely return and recommend if you don't mind lots of driving and pebbles. outside seating would be advantageous to watch the sunsets etc.
Jane from Salford (10 August 2018)

Wonderful location and lovely caravan. Very helpful staff. Would love to return.
Susan from Cardiff (06 August 2018)

Fantastic site, easy access to beach. Bar area, lounge, arcade, shop etc great. Helpful staff, pools great for kids.. caravan was lovely.
Michael from Preston (04 August 2018)

Had a lovely time. sunbeach holiday park served as a really good base for visiting other places. we had a lovely accommodation, everything we needed, very clean and just yards from the sea front. It was a smaller site but we found we preferred that, staff were very friendly also.
Patricia from Llwyngwril (03 August 2018)

My family and I (husband, 6yo and 3yo), stayed for a week in the superior 2 at the start of the summer holidays. The caravan was new, really clean and a perfect base for our holiday. It was lovely to stroll to the beach, which was stoney but revealed sand when the tide was out and rockpools galore to discover. We visited twyn and barmouth, as well as part of snowdonia national park for a walk, went down a slate mine and rode on the steam train in fairbourne. Bring a t-towel and order an online food delivery from asda straight to the park . we loved it!
Charlotte from Nottingham (03 August 2018)

The caravan was excellent, bedrooms are small but you have to expect that in a caravan. . the site itself didn't look great because of vacant sites. . the beach at the site is pebbles. Never saw it when the tide was fully out so may be sandy then.
John from Stoke On Trent (27 July 2018)

Really good location excellent facilities really nice staff excellent food. Would highly recommend it.
Bob from Wolverhampton (27 July 2018)

The only thing I would criticise is the opening hours of the swimming pool. we did find trying to go swimming very restricting. this would certainly make us consider trying another site in the area rather than returning.
Sarah from Lutterworth (21 July 2018)

The static home we had was light and airy, the site so peaceful. Our location was perfect. We had a fantastic view of the sea and the bay.
Diane from Birmingham (21 July 2018)

Seascape was out of this world accommodation with one drawback which we were not told about the train track and level crossing run alongside your bedroom the daytime trains you get used to as there are not many but the 2.30 morning goods train makes you jump out of bed best take ear plugs
Monica from Stoke On Trent (21 July 2018)

The caravan we were allotted was not the superior quality as seen in your internet picture and certainly not well stocked with crockery plus the main door was hard to close but I was informed at reception the weather was to blame so basically go away and stop complaining. My wife and I did not feel welcome.
Philip from Keighley (20 July 2018)

Great place, quiet and relaxing. lovely welcoming staff that were very helpful. would have loved to seen the dolphins, perhaps next time!
Gavin (20 July 2018)

Nice size quiet park with a good clubhouse and swimming pool.
Spencer from Budleigh Salterton (20 July 2018)

Excellent location and well equipped caravan.
Customer 28 (14 July 2018)

Loveyholiday park with great accommodation and family friendly facilities, really welcoming and helpfstaff.
Laura from Halesowen (14 July 2018)

Excellent caravan. Very clean, cleanest caravan I have stayed in, usually have to ask for another clean!. location of caravan excellent, sea views. Lovely quiet site. Definitely go back again.
Sharon (13 July 2018)

We stayed at sunbeach mid july 2018 for a long weekend with our toddler. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the park the facilities were superb, a perfect pool area for toddlers.lovely modern clean bar and restaurant with great pub grub style food and what a location for the sunsets!
Katie from Burton On Trent (09 July 2018)

1st time at this venue. Was really impressed. Very clean and smart site. Staff were very polite and helpful . would definitely recommend . bit isolated so make sure you take supplies tea/coffee etc as onsite shop closes around 5.30pm. Nearest shop is tywyn 15mins drive . barmouth beach is around 30mins drive
Kevin from Telford (01 July 2018)

Caravan very good. Only downside was the restaurant was closed all week so could not have a meal on site.
Sylvia from Sheffield (30 June 2018)

The park was beautiful. However the restaurant was closed for almost the whole of our holiday. Also the pool was shut at 4pm which is far too early. And the shop had hardly anything in.
Jacqueline from Blaenavon (30 June 2018)

Lovely caravan, very clean. Nice surroundings. Two minutes walk to the beach.
Christine from Coventry (30 June 2018)

Our caravan at sunbeach was modern, well equipped and comfortable. There was a verandah with table and chairs too so we spent most evenings sat outside playing cards watching the beautiful red sky sunsets. . the caravans are quite close together and unfortunately a couple of neighbours 2 rows away seemed oblivious to the peace and tranquility around them, playing music and chatting with their doors and windows open until midnight and another using the tv to entertain toddlers at 7am. Other than these intrusions we found the park quiet, friendly and well kept. . the beach is made up of quite large pebbles and rocks so not for sunbathing but the views of the snowdonia skyline from the beach were great.
Martyn from Eastbourne (29 June 2018)

One of the best parks we have been to the staff where more than helpful they need a gold star.
Eileen from Sutton Bridge Lincs (23 June 2018)

Lovely new caravan and spotlessly clean. Nice quite site on the coast. Club and pool very good. Would definitely go back
Andrew (23 June 2018)

Caravan was excellent staff friendly and helpful
Margaret from Peterborough (22 June 2018)

We just returned from a lovely holiday at sunbeach. Location is gorgeous. It's right on the beach. However, this stretch of beach isn't really ideal for sunbathing as it's very rocky. . staff are very friendly. Bar and food prices are very reasonable bearing in mind it is very much a "closed shop" because the nearest pub is a 5 minute drive away. It's not recommended that you walk into the village because there is no pavement on the road. The only downside to this holiday is the fact that the nearest supermarket is a 15 minute drive away to tywyn. it's a decent sized coop and it just means you need to plan ahead to keep stocked up!!. thanks to all the staff. We will be back.
Paul from Flixton (18 June 2018)

In my opinion I did not think it was suitable for people with mobility problems. Eg the steps up to the accommodation were too steep. . . there was no mention of a train in the brochure or online either. It woke us up at 6am every morning as it was so close to the accommodation. on arrival we could not get on the park as there was a safety barrier which you have to have a swipe card we had to wait for someone to let us in after traveling seven hours that is totally not acceptable. We were told to go to the bar to get the keys and the paperwork surely there should be a better system than that.
Karene from Devon (16 June 2018)

Caravan now three years old and the bed in the master room needs a new mattress as worn out otherwise everything else fine
Kez (02 June 2018)

A very quiet site even at half term.
Christine from Newport (02 June 2018)

Fantastic holiday. We returned here after a trip last summer. We love the fact that it is not over commercialised like a haven etc. I would highly recommend sunbeach.
Wayne from Flintshire (29 May 2018)

We had a great family holiday. For the price we paid we couldn’t have asked for more. The accommodation had seen some action but was clean and tidy on arrival. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and the facilities were great.
Benjamin from Kinmel Bay (28 May 2018)

A very enjoyable break - the park is not too big, fairly quiet with good facilities, well maintained. The food in the restaurant was good and very reasonably priced.
Colin from Wirral (28 May 2018)

The caravan was beautiful and modern with a fab view of the sea. We only had a couple of mi utes walk down to the beach which was lovely. The surroundings were beautiful..but unfortunately the club house facilities let it down. The restaurant/bar only has a small kitchen and can't cope with the amount of customers. The day we arrived we went to get food..we were told if we'd turned up 10 mins later we wouldn't be allowed to eat as they were fully booked! we thought we were lucky..but..the food took well over an hour to arrive (we ordered at 7.15pm and it arrived about 8.30pm!) our kids were so tired by the time it arrived..and the food was in-edible. It was tasteless and over priced. They also don't serve breakfast which I think is silly. They only do it on a bank holiday monday. The shop shut at 5pm but we arrived and had missed it, so I asked the bar if I could buy a cup of milk but they refused as they didn't have much left. . . we didn't have time to use the pool but it looked nice. (although small). . if we stayed again we would be better prepared and know what to expect!
Jacqueline from Llwyngwril, Wales (28 May 2018)

Lovely peaceful holiday.caravan lovely.we would definitely go back.p
Keith from Bolton (26 May 2018)

A lovely location with spectacular scenery on the doorstep. Swimming pool immaculate.
Phil from Stroud (25 May 2018)

Lovely park
Andy (25 May 2018)

Building work going on around the caravan, unfinished groundwork was a problem since I have mobility issues. Caravan itself was brand new and excellent
Reg from Coalville (25 May 2018)

Pleasantly surprised with the accommodation and site. Staff really welcoming and friendly. Loads of pebbles on the beach but plenty of sand when the tide went out. Access to wifi free. Reasonable speed but a bit slower in the evening.
Clair from Rotherham (19 May 2018)

Brilliant place. We went in a quiet period but it was lovely. All amenities for young families, club house, swings and pool. Even a kiddies pool. We plan to go back next year
Peter from Southend (18 May 2018)

Lovely location and very nice site. Pity pets not allowed in the shop or bar.
Annette from Aldridge (18 May 2018)

Not really very young child friendly especially catering wise on site. Some staff really good others not. Caravan was of a good standard and clean.
Helen from Cheshire (11 May 2018)

Kathy from Cheshire (30 April 2018)

Joanne from Chester (30 April 2018)

Perfect.
Alison from Wiltshire (27 April 2018)

The park is in a beautiful location right on the seafront, a few steps away from a pebbly beach. It is quiet and peaceful and relaxed. The park is majority privately owned and as a result is pretty quiet, particularly in low season when we went. It doesn't have much for teenagers but is ideal for younger children.

A fabulous location with friendly staff and clean facilities. We enjoyed our holiday at sunbeach holiday park so much that we will be booking again for next year. Beautiful countryside clean and tidy resort, couldn't ask for more from a family holiday. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a value for money holiday.
Simon from Stroud (09 April 2018)

Lovely holiday park. Perfect location. Helpful and friendly staff. bar food nice and not too expensive. only suggestion for improvement would be a better coffee provision. Not keen on current coffee machine.

Our holidays were a waste of time and money. The caravan park had got almost nothing to enjoy.the playground was tiny for the kids, the bar served food only a very few hours during the day and not very impressed with it and there was no shows or any other entertainment to do indoors if the weather was bad. The pool was just ok . I definatelly not recommend it .

Lovey park and area although it is a good drive down winding roads to get to local town for shops etc. Went for new year and all the tickets sold out for the party so was left with nowhere to go without a 30 minute drive

The resident couple was immensely welcoming and more than prepared to go that extra mile to make our stay pleasant. In spite of the festive season, the bar, etc were open regularly. Obviously, caravans are noisy during bad weather, and ours was damp in places, but that goes with the territory.

Great family holiday. Caravan clean, modern and felt spacious for a family with 2 toddlers. To be 1min from the beach was great and the kids enjoyed beach combing a lot. The pool facilities were fantastic. An excellent venue for an out of season holiday.

The holiday park is lovely and the accommodation is of a very high standard. The swimming pool, restaurant and bar are also excellent. The downside is that it is remote from anything else. The restaurant does not open monday or tuesday so we drove to the nearest pub to find that they do not serve food on mondays, either. This meant quite a drive to find another place to eat.

Overall a good holiday, our caravan was spotless as was the whole site and it was well lit at night. The location is in a beautiful area with the [mainly pebble ] beach just a short stroll from the caravans. Although the site does cater for children with a few amusements and an indoor pool we would suggest that it is more suited to the older person who want a relaxing holiday. The facilities are good [ laundrette, shop etc ] but we did not use them all. The restaurant was not available every day but when it was the meals were very good and reasonably priced. We had a problem with the electricity in the caravan out of hours but within a few minutes of leaving a voicemail on the emergency number a member of staff arrived to repair it [ excellent ]. our only disappointment was the bar staff who need much more training in customer service, we were not happy to be kept waiting whilst grumbles of being called in due to sickness ,and boyfriends reactions to it, as well as " well i've come but I am going soon as " were discussed right in front of us at the bar. However we hasten to add that the waitresses, shop and reception staff were more than helpful and very pleasant and from what we observed generally we are confident that that once the management become aware of any problem it is dealt with promptly.
Elizabeth from Daventry (30 September 2017)

Overall a good holiday, our caravan was spotless as was the whole site and it was well lit at night. The location is in a beautiful area with the [mainly pebble ] beach just a short stroll from the caravans. Very clean, quiet and beautiful scenery but would have been good to be able to walk to nearby village rather than using the car all the time.

Very quiet site, very easy access to the rocky beach, and we enjoyed a meal at the on site reasturant,. the mattress on our bed was uncomfortable, we informed the staff of this problem, but all that could be done was to turn it around, as no spare mattress was available,. overall a very good holiday.
David from Forest Of Dean Gloucestershire. (18 September 2017)

Nice site with good clubhouse. Reasonably priced, value for money meals in the restaurant, lovely pool. Caravan close to beach.

Lovely week at sunbeach. Beautiful surroundings and beach (at low tide), caravan was great, really impressed. Pool was perfect for our 3 year old, had to drag him out!!
David (16 September 2017)

Nice peaceful location, with the beach on the doorstep, will definitely be returning.
Gaynor from Wirral (16 September 2017)

Great as a base for touring the area. Clean, and restful as we went late in the season.
Charles from Sheffield (15 September 2017)

Nice and comfy stay for a short break. Good facilities and short walk away from the beach.
Diane (11 September 2017)

Sunbeach holiday park is really well kept and clean. The caravan we stayed in was modern and clean. It had a full fridge freezer which was really handy. The kitchen was well equipped with toaster, microwave etc. The beach was a 2 minute walk and was pebble and sand. The swimming pool was good, with hairdryers in the changing rooms and even polythene bags were provided to put wet swim clothes in. The bar area was lovely with sea views and the restaurant looked good even though we didn't eat there. There is a village not too far away from the site with a good co-op for provisions. There is a lot of activities and things to do near the caravan site, the only gripe we had was that the site was bigger than we would normally go on but overall very happy!
Amanda from Alfreton (09 September 2017)
