We had a lovely holiday and would go back to Stanwix Park as we found it very clean and the staff were pleasant, well dressed and polite. The caravans were spotless on arrival inside and out and the pool was very clean and was well policed with lifeguards. The pool tables and bowling facilities were very reasonable, and the food at the garden cafe was great value for money with extra big portions which I enjoyed (Dad) - their sticky toffee pudding with ice cream was fantastic!
Mr G from Wishaw

The facilities were very good, the staff very helpful, the park was kept very clean and the location was good for touring the lakes and Scottish borders. We would particularly praise the extremely pleasant staff in the 'garden cafe', also the prices were very reasonable, which was a pleasant surprise, and due to which we used the cafe more than we thought we would.

Stanwix Park offered my family a fantastic holiday. It was great for kids and adults of all ages alike. I even noticed on a recent parents evening that my little boy had wrote about his holiday and how much he enjoyed it. Unlike some other parks the games machines and drinks, food, snacks and sweets were not over priced and were very reasonable. The location is beautiful and we would return as everyone enjoyed it so much. Thank you Hoseasons for a wonderful family holiday.

Mrs. G from Irvine

I would definately recommend Stanwix Park to anyone with young children. The entertainment is great, the facilities excellent, and the town of Silloth is ideally located to explore the Lake District and beyond. The accommodation was comfortable, and had everything that we needed for a weeks holiday. A testament to Stanwix Park is that our family would return for more as we really enjoyed our time away.

Mr C from Ayr

Mrs S from Glasgow

The cleanest park we have ever stayed at, the entertainment was superb and we had a fantastic time. We will be booking again for several breaks next year!
Mr W from Blackpool

Silloth is set in a most tranquil area, and on a fine day hours can be spent watching for dolphins in the Solway Firth. A 25 mile drive takes you you to Buttermere, Derwent Water, Wndermere and Keswick, all of which offer a brilliant day out in an area which is quintisentially English. It is easy to see why Wordsworth and Tennyson waxed lyrically over the area, even if the sheep on the roads do display attitude! Our first visit to the Lake District but most definitely not our last! After 23 years of holidaying abroad we did not realise what we had been missing so it's a big thankyou to the recession!
Mr H from Gosport

We found the break very relaxing as there is plenty for the the kids to do, and you know they are safe.
Mrs. F from Newcastle Upon Tyne

The reception staff were very organised and helpful, the park was very well maintained and the complex was very clean.
Mrs J from Workington

I have just stayed at Stanwix for the four nights in the half term week with my 5 year old son and we both had a great time, I wish we could have stayed longer! The park suits kids from 3-11 brilliantly as the night time entertainment is excellent, especially Trevor Cooke. There is plenty to do on site, the caravan was clean and tidy as was the pool, and the staff were very helpful.
Mr G from Benton

I would recommend this holiday for any families with young children (up to age 10approx) we had a great time, the caravan was very nice, clean and comfortable, the swimming pool is very good as was the other facilities (bowling alley, amusements & soft play area) but geared more for young children we felt. The cafe did nice food and a take away menu too but it's a shame there wasn't a restaurant maybe for evening meals. Overall very good and we would definately return, good value for money.
Miss N from Sunderland

I have recommended this holiday to lots of people and every time I get my brochure through I take it into my work and get lots of people to book up (not the same time as me of course!!) We don't have children but love this holiday break for our dog as it's great walks on the beach.

Mr F from Plymouth

The entertainment was brilliant!
Mr H from Congleton

I would reccommend a Hoseasons holiday because the service is excellent, the helpful staff go out of their way to make sure the holiday is fun-filled and stress-free. Mrs D from Sheffield

I would like to comment on the kids activities - my 6 year old had the time of his life, and that is the reason we will be returning to see 'Foxy Fox' again next year - I will also be passing on the details of Hoseasons to all of our friends and family!
Mr A from Wallington

Very child friendly and the staff were all happy to help - a home from home!
Mrs P from Sandy

The friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever come across in 40 years of staying at holiday parks, and a great base for exploring Cumbria.
Mrs S from Chorley

This park is quiet and relaxing with plenty of activities, the pool and sauna were first class and the snooker room is a great idea. The real attraction for us was that the whole park was immaculate, from the accommodation to the parks grounds and facilities which is why we booked the park twice this season.
Mr T

I think that the entertainment staff were lovely, which made the children's holiday easier as we have not been to a park like this before. The shop was really cheap as well, which was surprising.
Ms B

Stanwix Park is the best place for children as everything about this holiday was excellent !!!!!!! All the staff were so very friendly and the caravan was super clean - what else can i say? Thankyou for an excellent family holiday 10/10.
Mr S

I would recommend this holiday to anyone. The park is lovely, spotlessly clean and the facilities are great -especially for families. The pool is especially good. We went with our two year old and his grandparents and there is something for everyone. Ideally located to enjoy the Lake District.
Mrs B from Bishop Auckland

This has got to be the best all round caravan park I have ever visited, that is saying something as I have been to loads. The site was immaculate and facilities excellent for all age groups. The clubs were stunning and entertainment first class. I like my holidays abroad over the past few years but this has restored my faith in the British holiday and I am already looking to return. Thanks to all concerned.
Mr R from Kilmarnock

We wanted a short break, not too far away from home, and went online on Sunday afternoon, by Monday morning, we were booked into Stanwix Park Holiday village on a four night stay, and it was wonderful. The caravan was superbly clean and tidy, warm and comfortable, the site facilities were brilliant and the staff just as good. We arrived around 7.30pm to find staff waiting for us with keys and our welcome pack, we had a quiet day on site on Tuesday, took in the evening entertainment at the Dunes Bar on Tuesday Night, we toured the Lake District on Wednesday, and again had a quiet day on Thursday. We just wanted a few days away, quiet and relaxing, and that's what we got - we will certainly be booking with Hoseasons again and will definitely go back to Stanwix Park, it was just ideal for us as a couple. Five Star ***** recommended. Thank you. Les and Joanne Harley, Irvine, Ayrshire, Scotland.

Mr M from Craigavon

Gym and swimming facilities very good and pool open until 9pm which meant you could go out for the day and still come back and have a swim. Ten pin bowling facilities good. Nice that most of the slot machines were away from the dance area for the kids - not hassled for money for the machines all the time
Mrs J from Norwich

Great for kids!! plenty to do.
Mrs K from Manchester

The park was superb, the caravan was clean, the staff friendly and the kids entertainment was great. We will be booking again in the near future!
Mr S from Romsey

A lovely place to stay, great accommodation, family friendly and brilliant entertainment!
Mr K from Fareham

The entertainment, pool, steam room, cafe and food were very good.
Mrs H from Wigan

The park is for everyone whether they are looking for peace and quiet, or a little more lively. The entertainment complex was well situated and all in one building. Walking down the prom and beach by the Solway Firth was excellent, especially if you like watching wildlife ie dolphins and seabirds including shag, cormorant, redshank, black-necked grebe and many more.
Miss G from Liverpool

A clean, safe and peaceful park with a great leisure centre for all the family!
Mr P from Bolton

A good base which suits all ages.
Mrs M from Liverpool

I have holidayed at Stanwix Park for at least 15 years. It is a very good park with excellent facilities and accommodation, I also enjoy the entertainment at night.
Mr W from Glasgow

We would all recommend the park. The caravan was spotless and the beds were all made up nicely. The kitchen and cooker were more than adequate and in fact my mother law said it was her 2nd home! The park itself was great, my little boy of 5 made friends and loved everything about the park. He loved the park, swimming pool and of course the entertainment - he has us all doing the foxy fox mexican wave dance! We have decided to go with Hoseasons again next year as we were sooooo impressed with everything!
Mr H from Abenbury Park

We loved this park as it was so clean and smart, the staff were really helpful and it was good value for money. There was no noise disturbance late evening or night and the children on site were happy and well behaved. I would recommend it without hesitation!
Mrs T from Newcastle Upon Tyne

I'd recommend this park for the entertainment for children and the friendly, helpful staff - also the cleanliness of the park was exceptional!
Mrs H from Kilmarnock

The park catered for all. The swimming pool was well appointed with a slide, hot tub and steam room.
Mrs W

Higly recommended for families with children, a beautiful location.
Mrs H

This park's facilities are second to none - we had a great family holiday.
Mr C

An ideal family environment with plenty to do - as all the facilities are available on site there is rarely any need to leave the site to entertain yourself. I found it to be suitable for all ages and abilities as I had my 2 year old with me and her great-grandmother too!!
Miss F

Facilities at the park brilliant and really geared to the kids! Both of my children had a fabulous short break and they loved Foxy Fox! The evening entertainment was corny but very entertaining and it's the first holiday that we have enjoyed and stayed up past 8pm!! Although we went in February we were dreading being cold, the heating in the caravan was amazing. Many Thanks.
Mr W from Rotherham

I would recommend this holiday because the location is central for sight seeing during the day, and the on site facilities excellent for relaxing at night.
Miss C from Glasgow

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at Stanwix Park, we got a good deal with Hoseasons and had an excellent stay and good value for money. The Park and accommodation was excellent and the facilities very good. The evening entertainment was very good and made everyone feel welcome even though this was a quiet time in the season. Will definitely be returning later in the year for a short break.
Mrs A from Newcastle Upon Tyne
