A very good base site with plenty of nice beaches close at hand, either reachable by local bus or car. A very good welcome by the staff and the park is well set out and kept very tidy. The accommodation once again was well set out, neat and tidy.The swimming pool was a good size, and the bar area offers good all round entertainment, with a separate bar/restaurant serving a good choice of hot/cold meals snacks etc. All in all a very good stay - I can truly recomend this park! This was our second visit to Southerness in 6 months and although it was wet and misersable weather the staff on site, especially those in the kids treetop club certainly made this holiday as memorable as the one we had at Easter. The place was really beautiful just above the sea. I could see sun rise, tides and outflows. It is perfect place for children, playground just next to the cottage, leisure centre with swimming pool and much more activities for toddlers and adults. The cottage has good fixtures and fittings.
