Customer reviews

It was fantastic to have a private hot tub - it made a good holiday a great holiday! We will definitely be back!
Mrs K from Cumnock

An excellent holiday and gorgeous accommodation (the hot tub was amazing). The staff were really friendly and we really enjoyed it.
Mrs T from Manchester

Very good for a peace and quiet holiday, but unfortunately because there is no beach I personally wouldn't take small children.
Mr H from Aylesbury

Lovely modern apartment with all facilities, convenient for east coast resorts.
Mr L from Ossett

Silloth is an ideal location for visiting and exploring Hadrian's Wall and associated forts and the beautiful Lake District, both within easy reach. The park itself has loads to offer, is well kept and has many facilities, including indoor and outdoor play areas for children, tennis courts, a farm and nightly evening entertainment - our kids couldn't have had more fun!
Mrs D from Marlow

We thought that the Holiday was good value for money. Kids clubs was great, staff were enthusiastic and helpful amenities were great for kids. Mrs B enjoyed the hot tub.
Mr B from Westhill

Very helpful staff and great value for money!
Miss S from Newcastle Upon Tyne

A fabulous mini break, ideal for the 'get away and recharge the batteries' weekend.
Mr B from Leeds

A good location with easy access to the town and lots of facilities to engage people of all age groups.
Dr T from Nottingham

A great location, good clean accommodation, lots to do, places to go and see and plenty to do for kids all day, plus entertainment at night
Mrs H from Billingham

A great park, great staff and the caravans are clean and fully functional. The location is great and there is lots to do in the caravan park for kids (kids club, farm, tennis, bike hire, kids play area), and also a great place for taking dogs. The local community in Silloth are extremely friendly, and the prices for eating out are very good. The park also has a fantastic restaurant for quality and price of food. We have had a break at this park twice now, and have had a fantastic time - we can't wait to go back again.
Mrs H from Motherwell

Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely food at a reasonable price in Nags Head and TakeAway. Safe site for children. Good playground and all weather football pitch. Dog friendly.
Mrs R from Richmond

Good friendly staff with plenty of places to visit in the area.
Mr R from Blyth

Lots of things to do for the children. good range of activities for children of all ages.
Mr W from Durham

Very good & clean mobile home, Good swimming pool.
Mrs G from Durham

First caravan holiday with two young children and we all had a great time, even thought the weather was not so good, the indoor pool and evening entertainment for the children was great, the children also enjoyed visiting the farm.
Mrs S from Sunderland

Its a very family orientated holiday with lots of activities for all ages.
Mr G from South Shields

A great location, friendly helpful staff been there 3 years running and already planning our return visit.
Mr B from Brough

We have had two holidays with hoseasons, Silloth in July with all my family and York in June. Enjoyed both and will definitely book with Hoseasons again. My only 'complaint' is we paid full price for the holiday in Silloth, over £700 but if we had waited we could have had the same holiday for £99. I can't help feeling a little cheated. In future I will wait and watch for special offers.
Mr A from Ashford

Accommodation cleanliness and staff all very good. Staff were exceptionally helpful when asked by our relatives to deliver a gift to us on a special date they went out of there way to help. Thank you.
Mr P from Chard

The holiday park is well kept and the staff are helpful and friendly. An ideal short break.
Mr D from Cowdenbeath

We had a great family holiday at Solaway Holiday Village, there was loads to do and in a good location will go back!
Miss T from Irvine

The staff at the park were so helpful and friendly, the standard of the accommodation was of a high standard and my daughter loved the on site farm!
Miss B from Bradford

The park is overall very good, the staff are really friendly and helpful and the accommodation is to a good standard. This was the fourth time that I have been at the park and it does not let me down, there is things for everyone to do.
Mrs C from Telford

Because of the location and cost, this is an ideal family holiday. We have stayed in this area several times, but only twice at Solway Holiday Village. We will be back many times as we can't think of a better "chill-out" place. We were allowed to relax and enjoy our break in our own way.
Mrs D from Wishaw

I will certainly recommend this park to others - no negative points at all!
Mrs B from Carlisle

The quality of our caravan accommodation was excellent and the actual holiday was one of the best our family has been on due to the facilities available on site.
Mr G from Bridge Of Weir

Great value for money. Everything has been thought out for you so that you and your family are able to relax in pleasant surroundings with excellent facilities.
Mrs M from Chelmsford

A great area so much better than we thought it would be, great for touring and Silloth is a quaint town worth a look.
Mr A from Fareham

I would recommend this holiday at Solway Holiday Village, mainly because the accommodation was so nice and very clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was plenty to do, especially the animal farm which we all enjoyed.
Mrs D from Warrington

Pleasant and friendly staff who are always willing to help.
Mrs M from Ullapool

The North Lake lodge was absolutely beautiful, it felt like a real home and I wanted to buy it!
Miss B from Isleworth

The holiday was good, with good facilities and a lovely location.
Mrs C from Bromsgrove

Fantastic value for money! There are no hidden extra fees and the shop was well stocked with nothing overpriced. All the kids activities are ideal for young children and the staff are very welcoming.
Miss N from Glasgow

There were six in our party with three kids, from age four to 20 months. There was so much for the kids to do and it was all included in the price, what great value for money. The animal farm was everyone's favourite and when we went exploring we found a huge chute that no one else seemed to know about, it was our secret (thats what we told the kids anyway). We all had a wonderful time and I would recommend this holiday to young and old alike.
Mrs B from Glasgow

Good facilities, plenty to do, friendly helpful staff, clean and well kept. We would consider going back again.
Mrs K from Kirkcaldy

Solway Holiday Village is in a lovely area. The park was very nice and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Mr Y from Paisley

Within easy reach of the Lake District, Scotland, Hadrians wall and other places of historical interest. Lots of open spaces and plenty of walks, bird sancturies and long sandy beaches to walk on. Also there is an abundance of golf courses in the area
Mrs O from Stockton-On-Tees

We have never felt so relaxed on holiday as there was such a lot to do on site as well as off and we still didn't get to see everything we wanted to do, so that means we will have to come back for another relaxing week. Fantastic family base and the entertainment was really good too the children thoroughly enjoyed all the games on the evening as well as the dance themes too.
Mrs Y from Newton Aycliffe

I thought the holiday was very good value for money, especially because of the facilities there are on site, and because of the staff and entertainment. I thought the accommodation was of a very good standard and I will definitely return sometime in the future.
Mr R from Inverkeithing

We arrived in the evening and the park entrance was illuminated and very impressive - first impressions really do count! The accommodation couldn't of been any better - a new, 3 bedroomed spacious caravan. A great location for visiting Scotland and exploring the Lake District or enjoying the Solway coast on your doorstep. I would recommend it and it was fantastic value for money. Thanks for a great holiday!
Mrs M from Leicester

If you want peace and quiet, comfort, then things to do to keep busy all in one trip this is your destination. Quite the most relaxing and fun trip I've ever had with three small children, believe me, they had fun and we did too!
Mr H from Seaham

We liked this park because it was ideal for all ages. The soft play area suits even babies whilst the farm, play areas and all weather pitch suited our three year grandson very much. These proved popular with all ages to around 10 years old. The clubs are ideal if you want to go out at night with the children and the entertainment team makes lots of effort to get you involved. Well done all. We will definitely consider another visit.
Miss K from Bedlington

The park is nice, quiet freindly and is located near some very nice scenic spots and towns, there is something for everyone.
Mr P from Newark

A brilliant and relaxing holiday. Everyone we met was so friendly that we have booked another holiday here!

The park and the area it is in is a very pleasant place to be.
Mr B from Loughborough

Excellent value for money!
Mr F from Thetford

We would recommend your park as it has everything anyone could want, including a "farm" and a golf course. The pool was clean and very safe, especially with children, and as for the local scenery, what could be better than the lakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mr A from Prestatyn

Great holiday - only upset was when we told the kids they had to go home.
Mrs S from Larkhall

Our accommodation was excellent, very clean and well equipped, the holiday village had plenty of entertainment to offer, and the swimming pool was excellent. Overall, we had a very good holiday and would go back again.
Mr M from Hamilton

Really friendly park.
Mrs H from Prenton

We booked last minute and got excellent value for money, and was pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our four day break at Solway Holiday Village.
Mr H from Oldham

Very family orientated and good value for money. I have been on many holidays where everything the kids do carries a fee - here all the kids evening entertainment was free, loads of competitions etc, and all the kids got little gifts, sweets, hats, certificates for joining in - it was a refreshing change. We had a great holiday and will go back!
Mr V from Johnstone

We had such a good time, and would definitely come again.
Miss B from Skelmersdale

Solway Holiday Village was a superb park for a relaxing holiday, with access to many great walks and close to the lakes for great days out. Highly recommended as a holiday venue.

I went for my birthday weekend and all I was looking for was relaxation. Sitting in the private hot tub having some strawberries, reading a magazine under the March sunshine was just what the doctor ordered - and finishing off the day with some really really good fun entertainment in the Nags Bar was the icing on the cake. We're already looking at our calendars to see when we can go back!

The evening entertainment was brilliant and kept my two year old amused, the staff were very friendly and the site was perfect.
Miss R from Workington

Our holiday party age ranged from 1 year to 55 and we could not fault the facilities as there was something for all age groups. All the staff we came into contact with were friendly, helpful, efficient and knowledgeable of all our queries. Our stay could not have been more pleasurable!
Mrs M from St Andrews

An excellent value for money holiday - we will be visiting again very soon!
Ms M from Morecambe

Really good value for money. The kids club was great and the two young girls who entertained during the night were marvellous - they made my grandchildrens holiday! Your staff went the extra mile to make our break a good one.
Mrs O from Ferryhill

Excellent value for money! We have been 4 times now and we will be going back again!
Mrs O from Wallasey

a Great family park, well equipped and good for children of all ages. We have 3 ranging from 3-12 and have used this park since the youngest was a baby!
Mr S from Chelmsford

Fantastic accommodation, very modern and clean and great beaches and places to visit.
Mrs E from Woodbridge

A fabulous park, and this was our second year. We like the play area, indoor heated pool and there are great gounds for the kids to cycle and roller-skate safely. You have no need the leave the park if you want the kids to run free and the adults to chill. But if you want days out - Carlise Castle and Gretna Green are within driving distance. I'll be back again next year!
Mrs M from Maidenhead

A peaceful location and pretty scenery.
Mrs E from Wilmslow

Plenty of things to do around the park as well as nearby.
Mrs C from Glasgow

This is the first holiday we have had with Hoseasons and we were very impressed with the facilities and standard of accommodation. We are already looking forward to booking another holiday with you for next year and have recommended you to all friends and family - thank you!
Miss T from Radcliffe

This a great place especially if you have a pet, less than 5 minutes to the sea front and clean, good size chalets. I would go again and even the kids enjoyed it!
Mrs W from Bolton

Very good value for money with good childrens entertainment and facilities.
Ms V from Redruth

A very good, value for money park in an excellent location on a beautiful coastline - handy for the Lake District.
Mrs H

Good for families, with plenty to occupy children.
Mr F

Excellent accommodation with superb, friendly staff. We always felt welcome.
Mrs L

Good all-round family entertainment. Everything you need/ want catered for in the one complex local to all areas of accomodation.
Miss P from Carluke

There is loads to do and see in the day, and at night the park offers you entertainment. The farm on the park is a lovely touch and the children loved this, the pool and the play area were a big hit too. I would definitely go to this park again as everyone is friendly, and the accommodation has ample room and is clean.
Miss H from Manchester

The park has excellent facilities for families. There was plenty to do onsite and the beach was within walking distance. The accommodation was good, large bedrooms and living room. Would recommend this holiday for families. We would not hesitate in going back.
Mrs C from Glasgow

Solway Village is a great destination to relax and have fun, the place is beautifully located near the sea front and close to nature....amazing place to de-stress loved the place, would have loved to continue for some more days if only had more vacation.
Mr B from Milton Keynes

Good value for money, accommodation clean and bright, lots of activities for the kids.
Mrs S from Alexandria

The accomodation was perfect for us - warm, clean, close to the facilities and the park was outstanding - a train, play park, farm, sand pit, bar, take away as well as being right on the beach. It was so much more than we were expecting and we will certainly be going again!
Mrs W from St. Albans

Great value for money!
Mrs A from Ashford

An excellent value park for families in a nice, quiet location with very friendly and helpful staff.
Mrs D from Menai Bridge

If you have children this is the place to go. Great park, soft play area, farm, site train, pool and lots more. The area of Silloth is nice and clean. Friendly locals and the towns around the area are well worth a visit.
Mr D from Warrington

Lovely family friendly park ideal for young children. My children aged 2 and 4 loved the train that took us to the farm.
Mrs L from Flint

We had 5 days at Solway Holiday Village and were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the accommodation. I felt that the holiday was outstanding for the money and all our needs were met in the spacious and comfortable chalet. The children loved it and I would recommend it to others and happily go again! Thanks for a lovely break.
Miss S from Cheadle
