The location is great and there is lots to do in the caravan park for kids (kids club, farm, tennis, bike hire, kids play area), and also a great place for taking dogs. The local community in Silloth are extremely friendly, and the prices for eating out are very good. The park also has a fantastic restaurant for quality and price of food. We stayed in a eight berth caravan in late October. The weather was rainy, cold and very windy, but the caravan luckily enough was centrally heated and heated up very quickly, plus the shower was excellent. You have no need the leave the park if you want the kids to run free and the adults to chill. But if you want days out - Carlise Castle and Gretna Green are within driving distance. There is loads to do and see in the day, and at night the park offers you entertainment. The farm on the park is a lovely touch and the children loved this, the pool and the play area were a big hit too. If you have children this is the place to go. Great park, soft play area, farm, site train, pool and lots more. The area of Silloth is nice and clean. Friendly locals and the towns around the area are well worth a visit. Mr D from Warrington
