Customer reviews

This park is the cleanest park we have been to and there is something for everyone with plenty of space so you don't feel hemmed in. We loved it, and the markets!
Mr P from Rochdale

Good value for money, excellent accommodation, good location. A good place for a family holiday
Mr K from Middlewich

Fantastic accomodation and location. Brilliant and relaxing family holiday.
Mr I from Bradford

Excellent family site. We have booked again for next year only longer!!!
Mr R from Blackburn

Excellent family site that isn't a constant drain on the wallet. Excellent value for money.
Mr R from Blackburn

This was the perfect location both for staying on site and for touring around the area.
Mrs C from Seaham

The park is fabulous and very child friendly. Offering new and luxury caravans this was a suitable base for the highlights of the East Coast.
Mrs W from Brighouse

Fantastic accommodation and great facilities. Fab playground for children.
Mrs. P from Castleford

The park is in a lovely area and the views are really nice, there is also a really nice ice cream shop nearby but we did not have enough time to try all the flavours! A very central location to get to Hornsea, Bridlington and Scarbrough - well worth a try!
Mrs W from Runcorn

A fantastic location - very close to a beautiful, unspoilt beach.
Mrs S from Rotherham

We have a dog but the caravan we stayed in at Skirlington was amazing and I have already recommended it to family members who will be joing us when we return next year!
Mrs H from Bradford

This was our 2nd visit in a row and we were not disappointed at all. Extremely good value and an excellent location - thank you!
Mr A from Walsall

This site is in a great location - ideal for exploring Yorkshire. Lovely cliff walks and interesting beach. The caravan itself was warm and had everything we needed.
Ms D from Dunfermline

I frequently recommend caravan holidays to others. Modern caravans cannot be compared with the caravans that used to be. They are large, extremely comfortable, well heated and have super showers. I also like the fact that they are not cluttered with unnecessary things. I have already booked for next year.
Mrs D from Sheffield

Very relaxed site in a lovely coastal setting.
Mrs. C from Bolton

A great location for all attractions based in the surrounding area. The layout of the caravan was excellent for two young children with plenty of space for them to play.
Mr W from Blackpool

The caravan was one of the best we stay in. If you had one down Devon i would book it tomorrow, by the beach as well.
Miss H from Dartford

The park is ideal for all ages, beautifully maintained and close to the beach and many other attractions. It gives value for money.
Mr D from Dronfield

I felt this holiday was great value for money considering what we spent and for an added bonus we got a brand new static caravan for 2009 so the caravan was in tip top condition and the fixtures and fittings etc were great!! Thank you Skirlington - we had a great holiday!!
Mrs G from Manchester

The caravan was really nice and it had a freezer which was helpful. We enjoyed our stay with our grandchildren and will be booking again shortly.
Mrs H from Sheffield

A beautiful place with lots of ammenties and close to the beach. We were very impressed with the caravan - big, spacious, well equipped, very clean and beautifully presented with everything to hand. The central heating was a bonus to dry our towels after swimming on the rainy days! The beds were very comfy and I was impressed with the ensuite WC, large wardrobe and dressing table in the master bedroom, especially the king size bed - something you never have in hotels abroad. Every morning at 10am we enjoyed our daily swim, knowing the girls were safe really made a difference and the site shop had everything you needed including 'Calpol' for a poorly tummy! We even liked going to the amusements just to see how many cuddly toys the girls could win - 18 to be precise!! We thought the holiday was excellent value for money, we all had a fantastic time and would love to come again.......the highlight for the girls was the magician......how did he do that!!
Mrs G from Liversedge

This was an excellent park, and the accommodation was above our expectations.
Mr W from Baildon

I would certainly recomend this type of holiday for a young family like ours. It was ideal for us.
Mr B from Nottingham

We would very strongly recommend this holiday to any of our family and friends as the whole stay was a very enjoyable one. We found the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble and the park was very well kept and clean.
Mrs C from Derby

I have been going twice a year for the last 20 years and never ever been disappointed with either the park facilities, or the quality of the caravan which are updated regularly.
Mr S from Bradford

the caravan was very spacious with a large fridge frezzer, superb furniture, the staff were very helpful and polite and my dogs were very welcome with good walks on site.
Mr N from Alford

Would recommend this site. Accommodation excellent, central heating on for 24 hours a day during our stay, very clean. Good location, only 20 minutes drive from Bridlington. Staff very friendly, would go again.
Mrs W from Ossett

The whole holiday was fabulous, clean site clean facilities (arcade, shop, swimming pool and fish n chip shop) all excellent. The caravan was out of this world, never did I expect this caravan to be like it was, nice and very warm at night, great value for money and myself my son and my father (all 3 generations) had a fab time to remember for a long time. Thanks Hoseasons for a great holiday again.
Mr B from Stockport

Excellent value for money.
Mr T from Sutton-In-Ashfield

Great accommodation and friendly, helpful staff at pool area.
Mrs D from Stockport

Yes, would have no problem recommending Skirlington, we have been to other Hoseasons and enjoyed them but we like Skirlington. It's a good sized campsite with good facilities, the pool is good, there is plenty to do if you have children, we keep coming back, we came years ago with our children and our friends. Now our children are grown up, just the two of us come and we really feel relaxed there. The staff are friendly, as are the regulars who you will find there most weekends, there's just something about this place. The Sunday market is something to look forward to as well, we have now stayed six times.
Mrs H from Bury

A five star park and the best on the east coast. It cannot be beaten for cleanliness, customer care, facilities, security, and not forgetting the unbelievable value for money! We will carry on coming back year after year - keep up the fantastic work!
Mrs. B from Liversedge

The park was very clean and the accommodation and childrens play facilities were of excellent quality. The local market and on site entertainment was excellent, and for children who like horse riding, riding lessons are available. All in all the holiday was great value for money and we were all very happy with the holiday.
Ms P from Preston

An absolutley lovely, clean park and great accommodation.
Mrs E from Carlisle

A lovely park, great for children and everything you need is here.
Mrs G from Manchester

Fabulous accommodation and the park is well placed for local attractions and it is easy to get to other beaches and Bridlington. We would be happy to book for next year!
Mr P from Consett

The parks location was very convenient in relation to local attractions, etc Whitby, York, Hull and Scarborough are all within an hours drive. The accommodation was to a very high standard as were the parks facilities. Access to the local beach is within a 10-15 minnute walk and a large Sunday market/car boot sale on site. The holiday was very relaxing with plenty to do and see.
Mrs E from Bridgend

A perfect holiday to go on with younger children. The swimming pool and public toilets were spotless and the beach is very close. Me and my family had the best holiday and are going back next year!
Miss M from Lockerbie

There are so many things to do on and around the park - great value!
Mr M from Gourock

The standard of the caravan was excellent, very modern and clean. There is lots to do round about within driving distance. Mr Moos ice cream place and the Sunday market were excellent! Good value for money when compared with Haven and not so "holiday campy".
Mrs W from Paisley

The standard of accommodation was excellent!
Mrs P from Haddington

An excellent, clean and well-run park and the staff were very friendly. A wonderful Sunday Market on site and an ideal location for visiting places along the Yorkshire coast. I would particularly recommend the nearby FarGrange golf course - a small par 3 nine hole practice course at only £4 a round, and the very good clifftop 18 hole course for £14 - nice friendly cafe, bar and club house. Also try the icecream at Mr. Moo's just down the road - yummy!
Mrs. N from Dunoon

Relaxing and a good position for getting around the area.
Mrs H from Liverpool

Have holidayed at many parks (mostly Hoseasons), who are always excellent, but Skirlington must definitely be the best so far. Also the caravans are new every year! We even had a full size freezer and a king size bed - we can't wait until next year!
Mrs W from Lowestoft

No access to beach unless walk to next site.Would prefer direct access when carrying beach kit for all. Too far for some members of family with slight walking difficultiesShop far too expensive Not enough benches around park to sit on, especially market day around market area. Would be able to stay around longer sit and eat, drink, ice creams etc.enjoy the occasion, but not catered for unless sit on floor, had disabled and elderly family with us unable to get on floor/grass area etc so had to go back to caravan.
Mrs M from Barnsley

The caravans are very clean and well set up in a lovely area with good views and full of smashing people.
Mr L from Scunthorpe

This was our first family holiday in UK as we normally travel to Asia, but it won't be our last as we will be back again as one of our holidays. Good, reasonably priced food both in the bar and the fish shop and a great pool.
Mr R from Wakefield

We really love everything about this park - we go back year after year and will continue to do so!!
Mrs H from Normanton

A fantasic site, the accommodation is superb, the sea views are outstanding and it is so close to the beach - I would highly recommend this park.
Mrs B from Littlehampton

The accommodation, park location and facilities were all excellent - we had a brilliant time!
Mrs W from Cleckheaton

Skirlington offers superb value and excellent quality caravans, also being able to take our dog is a big plus.
Mr W from Walsall

We can find nothing at all that you could do to improve on our holiday. The whole week was excellent and we wished that we had booked for two weeks instead of one!
Mrs B from Coedpoeth

Good value for money, good food and a very relaxing holiday in good accommodation.
Mr H from Bury

A good standard of park and caravan with good walks and close to the beach.
Mr H from Derby

Excellent accommodation, great location overlooking sea.
Mr K from Workington

From the first time I phoned with a query to the day we left, all the staff were outstanding. Friendly, helpful and speedy.
Mrs L from Caephilly

Third visit to this park. Friendly Site - Great Location Modern new caravans - Very High standard. Great value for money, will go back again.
Mrs C from Oldham

Have recommended it to my parents.
Mrs G from Paisley

Skirlington holiday park is a very welcoming site it has so much to offer for all ages its clean, friendly and well located on the eastcoast . Thank you for a great holiday and we hope to be back soon ms s hargrave.
Ms H from Leeds

The caravans at Skirlington are brilliant - clean and tidy. The beach is only a few yards away and the people are very friendly and helpful. You need a car to get around but there are some good places to go to not too far away.
Mrs H from Stoke-On-Trent

I found the site very friendly tidy and the staff very helpful. I would recommend Hoseasons again and again.
Mr A from Walsall

Situated in a quiet location this is a peaceful park. The caravan was of a high standard and very confortable.
Mr J from Keighley

Excellent site well planned with plenty of space between caravans.Superb clean comfortable accommodation including a king size bed.
Mr S from Leyland

Fabulous holiday very relaxing our kids had a thoroughly fantastic time - loved the childrens entertainment in the family room. Weather was poor but did not spoil a very enjoyable holiday - would return.
Mrs M from Hebden Bridge

The accommodation was excellent - the best we've stayed in so far - we have holidayed in static caravans with Hoseasons for the last 5 years and this caravan was by far the nicest.
Mr B from Lancaster

Quiet if you want it, entertainment and fun if you want it. The ideal combination!
Mrs P from Lincoln

Very clean and comfortable site. An enjoyable holiday.
Mrs B from Grimsby

This park is absolutely great for children the facilities are better than some other parks we have visited. the meals in the tow bar inn were delicious and very good value for money, the kids disco was brill as the kids were entertained by the DJ while the adults sat down with a pint!!
Mr S from Houghton-Le-Spring

it was the best site we had ever visited, caravan was super even though we took our english setter dog with us we were given a top quality caravan. with other companies they tend to think if you have a dog you will not respect the caravan. 10 out of 10
Mrs C from Middlesbrough

I would recommend Skirlington to anyone especially as pets are welcome.
Mr S from Bradford

Value for money.
Mr I from Mid Gamorgan.

Good value for money.
Ms T from West Midlands.

We would find it very difficult to criticize this holiday and park, it suited us as it was quiet and well maintained in a nice area with lots to see and do.
Mrs R from Nuneaton

would reccomend this holiday park as the standard of accomodation was wonderfull. The onsite staff were very friendly and helpful and the cleanliness of the holiday park was outstanding. It was the first weekend myself and my husband had been away together alone, after raising our 2 children. We had a wonderfull time relaxing on site and the Sunday market was great. We even made friends with the onsite ducks that frequently visited us at our caravan, they even greeted us when we returned having been out for the day.A wonderfull enjoyable holiday with lots for everyone to enjoy.I certainly will be back.
Mrs R from Leeds

This was our first family holiday and we found it a lovely park to take our baby daughter to, the caravans are great and the reception staff are really helpful and the food at the restaurant is gorgeous!
Mrs F from Barnsley

The accommodation was fantastic, flat screen TV, en-suite bedroom and a proper shower! As this was the first time we had taken a holiday in the UK we were most impressed by the facilities on the park and would recommend to all families and couples looking for a good base to tour the North East. The food was also good value for money, as was the whole holiday
Mr K from Wednesbury

The accommodation was really outstanding and overall the holiday was very good.
Mr P from Telford

This caravan park was lovely, clean. You do need access to a car to go anywhere, but it is not far to drive into bridlington. The caravan was modern very clean and well looked after.
Mrs M from Castleford

I really enjoyed my stay at the park and the hoseasons caravans are top notch. If there is anything wrong you talk to reception whom are very helpful. A good holiday park for the family.
Mrs M from Bishop Auckland

We have had Hoseasons holidays for many years and can find no fault. we have tried other major holiday companies but always prefer to use Hoseasons for an all round good service that is value for money.
Mrs G from Manchester

Skirlington is a wonderful holiday park as all the caravans are of a very high standard. It is nice not having to queue up for linen on arrival, makes such a difference to the start of each lovely holiday.
Mrs G from Manchester

Our holiday at Skirlington was great and I would recommend it to anyone. The park was in a beautiful area and the surrounding farms and villages are wonderful, situated close to the big resorts on the east coast.
Mrs T from Ashton-Under-Lyne

This park is my favourite in the country, its location is fantastic and the staff are genuine and helpful. Theres always loads of thing to do and nearby places of interest to visit.
Miss G from Rotherham

Mrs H from Macclesfield

The booking of the holiday to the actual end of the holiday was a fabulous occasion for me and my family. We have gone through Hoseasons so many times now, and have never been disappointed.
Mr S from Hull

A very pleasant park with excellent accommodation.
Mrs B from Beverley

Skirlington is the perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. The facilities and park are tranquil and beautiful, and this unspoilt part of East Yorkshire is ideally situated for the traditional attractions of both Hornsea and Bridlington, whilst offering its guests a 'get away from it all' holiday. The park is quieter than some of its neighbours but is all the better for it and there are some lovely villages to visit close by - highly recommended!
Mrs A from London

An excellent, well kept park, the caravans are clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Mrs O from Ireland

The camp was spotless and in a good location to travel around from.

I totally recommend Skirlington to anyone with children. There are many things to keep the children happy including a playpark, ball pool area, swimming, and when the weather allows there is a nice beach. The tow bar gives you lovely meals at reasonable prices. The nearby town of Hornsea is very nice and not far away from there is Freeport if you like shopping.
Mrs M from Bishop Auckland

Excellent value for money, nice accommodation and I would highly recommend!
Mr B from Rotherham

We would definitely recommend this park. Our accommodation was spotless, as were the parks grounds. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our week went too quickly, and our children 14, 9 and 8 didn't want to get in the car to go home! We will be booking again without a doubt!
Mrs H from Daventry

A lovely pool, sauna and steam room, it catered for all ages, the club and restaurant was very good and it was reasonably priced.
Mr T from Plymouth

Mr M from Wakefield

A lovely, peaceful location with excellent facilities and spacious, clean and comfortable accommodation.
Mrs H from Bacup

Everything about the park and location was excellent - well done!
Mrs C from Hull

I would certainly recommend Skirlington to families as it has a lot to offer. We will certainly come back because there was something for all of the family - my husband is a keen fisherman and he was fishing at the lake everyday which he thouroughly enjoyed. There are not many holiday parks that have fishing, entertainment, shops, parks, and let dogs stay - they either have some things and not the other but this park had everything!
Mrs M from Bishop Auckland

Excellent value for money and a really good family holiday location with plenty to do on site and lots of places to visit nearby.
Mrs C from Bristol

A great park in a wonderful part of the UK - the whole family loved it and will go again!
Mr M from Gourock

I would certainly recommend this park as it was spotlessly clean, well maintained and of a high standard - the holiday was fantastic!

Mr H from Oakwood

I would definitely recommend this holiday as the park is lovely - my two children loved it, and the Windsor Caravan we stayed in was really nice and clean. I have been visiting Skirlington since I was ten years old - the park is one of the best I have ever been to and the accommodation like a home from home!
Miss H from Leeds

This is one of our favourite holiday parks!
Mr B

Perfect for a weekend break, excellent accommodation, friendly, helpful staff and great pub grub!
Ms F

We know the Skirlington park very well, having had holidays with you there for some years!

Mrs C from Bolton

The caravan accommodation was first class, as was the site and I would definitely recommend this short break holiday to others. I will definitely be booking again.
Mr S from Batley

Yes i would recommend the Skirlington Leisure Park, we have been to numerous sites with Park Resorts, Haven, John Fowler and have always had minimum gold standard caravan, but none were a match to the caravan here. The full family were really impressed with the facilities and the standard of the caravan was superb for the price we paid. Thank you for a great mini holiday break.
Mr T from Kilmarnock
