Mr M from Whitstable

We stayed in this caravan on a short stay basis and took our small dog with us. This site is perfect if you like both the sea and the countryside and some peace and quiet. The caravan was very clean and warm (we went in late October). People on the site were also very friendly and there was a pub and restaurant nearby if you did not want to cook. We liked it so much we are going back again very soon.

Mrs M from Keighley

We have used Hoseasons twice this year, once in Scotland and once in England and both were excellent value for money. The web site is good for finding what you want at the right price and the choice of destinations is very good. I recommend the site to people i know all the time.
Mrs. L from Stirling

A great location next to the beach.
Mrs B from Manchester

We went to St. Bees for our honeymoon, and our only regret is that we didn't book for longer! This is a traditional seaside with no amusements or the hustle and bustle of a busy resort. It's a small place with one post office/shop and 3 pubs near by. There is the Seacotes Hotel within walking distance that you can use, for meals and entertainment, which we highly recommend. St. Bees is a slow paced community and houses such friendly people. We took our own food but found that the food in the Seacotes Hotel was fantastic so we came back with our own food! For shopping there is a small Co-Op in Egremont, but the main shopping stores are in Whitehaven both just up the road a few miles away (a 10 minute trip there). We can't wait to go back there in 2010 for our 1st years anniversary as we fell in love with St. Bees!
Mrs C from Barnsley

Me and my husband have just had a wonderful hoilday at St Bees. We had a lovely welcome when we arrived, the caravan park was lovely and clean and also the caravan too. A very peaceful place to go and discover the Lake District - I will book again, thanks again.

Good if you want to get away and relax in peaceful surroundings, enjoy the beach and walking and be in a good base for lakes.
MRS A from Burnley

This was our first holiday with a dog and I was very suprised at the standard of our accommodation. The caravan was lovely and clean and well kitted out, I expected it to be more basic since animals were allowed. The beach at this park is a huge bonus, the kids and dog loved it. The sand, rock pools and well equipped childrens play area kept them amused for hours - we will definitely be coming back.

Definitely the place to relax and unwind after a good day walking or hiking. Not for those who like noise and bright lights but certainly for those of you that appreciate the sound of sea, surf, gulls and sheep while sipping a glass or two in the early evening. The scenery was breathtaking and the walks along the miles of beach were beautiful. It was close enough for trips to the well known lakes for some retail therapy!
Mrs W

The park is situated very close to the beach and is very good for walking the dog. We have been to this park with Hoseasons many times over the years and enjoyed all of them, the people are all very nice and I would recommend this park to anyone.
Mr B

Excellent accommodation in a really great situation and handy for the Western Lakes without all the travel problems of being in the Lake District itself.
Mr B from Ilkeston

Our first caravan holiday - we always went abroad until we had our baby. We enjoyed ourselves immensely - so much so, we are booking again for August.
Mr B from Mirfield

Super site, lovely beach, we thoroughly enjoyed it and so did our dogs! Thank you.
Mrs G from Keighley

St Bees is a sleepy village but very peaceful with lovely beaches and cliff top walks on the doorstep. The Ravenglass miniature railway is a delight for young and old with scenic Wastwater unbelievably breathtaking! We were only there a few days but have every intention to return and explore more of the area.
Mr Q from Warrington

We returned to Seacote Park again this year as we loved it so much last year. It is situated directly on the beach which our children and dog love! Its back to nature just the way we like it, no amusement arcades or club houses, just sun, sand, walks on the cliffs and beautiful views - wonderful!
Mrs M from Sidcup

The staff were accommodating and very helpful, the accommodation was immaculate and the site views and location were amazing. A general all round perfect holiday experience, even for the Lake District in the middle of February!!!
Mrs A from St. Asaph

Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely sea views, and cosy and warm caravans.
Mrs W from Nottingham

A lovely park with spectacular views and we had a very warm welcome from the reception staff on arrival. Unfortunately the weather was not too good. but that did not stop us from having a really nice, peaceful weekend. I would not hesitate in booking again.

Miss S from Bradford

Very good value for money, the accommodation was excellent, and a relaxing holiday.
Miss N from Swadlincote

I would recommend St Bees to anyone, what you see in the brochure and on line is accurate, it's value for money and very clean and friendly.
Mrs C from Thornton-Cleveleys

We would recommend this holiday to others and have as we find that Hoseasons have the best caravan plots on the parks with the best views. The vans are well equipped and very comfortable with plenty of room.
Mr S from Cramlington

This holiday park is ideally situated right next to the beach, away from any busy main roads. An excellent base for walking.
Mrs L from Congleton

Great value for money, helpful staff, clean and high end furnished accommodation...never realised you could get an en suite caravan!!!!
Mrs L from Pudsey

Seacote is a quiet site 100 yards from the sea, the staff are excellent, nothing is too much trouble. The caravan was absolutely superb and spotlessly clean. There is a hotel within easy walking distance of the site which serves good food at reasonable prices and many good pubs in the area. Whitehaven boasts one of the best fish and chip shops in the country (Crosby's) and a portion of their fare is a must. Seacote is an ideal spot for walking holidays, The Lakes are about 70 mins from the site, over The Narrow Fell Road nearly 2 hours and very challenging for the driver. However the scenery is stunning, we really enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in recommending the holiday to our friends.
Mr P from Bristol

The accommodation was 5 star and location perfect.
Mrs G from Liversedge

A beautiful park, excellent accommodation and the caravan was very clean.
Mrs B from Coventry

We stayed for a 4 night break in St Bees and were pleasantly surprised. The caravan was modern and spotless and the park was beautiful. We had a lovely stay and wished we had booked for 7 nights. The perfect base for visiting Whitehaven, Maryport and lots of other places, and the nearby hotel served excellent food and children were more than welcome.
Mr H from Oldham

The park was welcoming with a very high standard of accommodation, and the location is ideal for the Cumbrian coast and the lakes.
Mr M from Glasgow

We would recommend this holiday as we found the caravans were to a very high standard, and we rate this holiday a 100% and we look forward to using Hoseasons again.
Mr R from Bishop Auckland

We would recommend this holiday as we found the caravans were to a very high standard, and we rate this holiday a 100%, and we look forward to using Hoseasons again. We also liked the fact that we could take our dog on holiday too, as we got him from a dog refuge we didn't think he would settle in a kennel as he would think we were abandoning, like his previous owners.
Mr R from Bishop Auckland

A very relaxing break in a good location.
Mrs B from Blackpool

It was the most relaxing holiday we've had in a long time! If you want to get away from the world for a few days then this is the perfect place. A great price, and really good value for money for a few days of quality time together. I would definitely book again!
Miss N from Manchester

This holiday was peaceful and quiet, and the caravans were very clean and well positioned near the beach with some lovely walks and views. We will be returning next year!
Mr E from Nottingham

Perfect location for families, walkers, dog owners.
Mr S from Belper

For a relaxing break with unspoilt countryside and beaches, St Bee's has still got a lot of old fashioned charm.
Mrs W from Gosport

Mr G from Wrexham

If you want to escape from the hussle and bussle of everyday life then this is the perfect holiday for you!
MRS C from Mansfield

The park is next to the beach, there is no cliff to negotiate and the park is on a relativley flat site. There are lots of places to sit along the promenade so this makes it an ideal place for anyone with walking difficulties. We will definitely go back again!
Mrs T from Newcastle Upon Tyne

This is an ideal location for the whole family and pets. The park is well laid out and just 50 yards from the beach which boasts firm beach for walking, rock pools, rugged cliffs and rocks for exploring and safe bathing. It has an open promenade and tea rooms which cater for all your basic needs, whilst further inland the village has a well stocked post office and several pubs. The golf course have a very challenging 9 holes but again welcomes visitors. Everyone was very friendly and it was a pleasure to walk along the beach in the evening, and for our pet dog to meet other dogs who again were equally friendly. A great time was had by all!
Mr O from Lincoln

An ideal base to explore the Lake District, stunning coastal views and a quiet location.
Mis W from Leeds

This park is well situated for exploring the Lake District as well as relaxing at night as there are no on site facilities, however you are situated as close to the beach as you can get and there is a lovely park suitable for all ages as well as a large grassy area for children to play.
Mrs M from Glenrothes

Ms M from Margate

A great seaside location that is within easy reach of some of the nicest parts of the Lake District.
Mr N from Livingston

The park is a great all rounder. Most of the caravans have a sea view and we were only about 50 yards from the beach and the coastal walk was almost on our door step. The staff were very helpful, the condition of the caravan was A1, and the hotel was about 200 yards away - the food was excellent and the entertainment was good. The cafe and shop was also good with great staff. The walks into the village took about 15 minutes where there is plenty of pubs, a shop and the Railway Station in the village is very picturesque. The sea was lovely, clean, clear and very warm - a wonderful holiday for all ages!
Mrs G from Ilminster

The location was great, not many places can boast being within 2 minutes of the beach and the peaks!
Miss C from Hertford

The park was fantastic, very relaxing and chilled out, magnificient views and a lovely beach. We are going back later this year!

Mrs H from Shotton Colliery

Lovely accommodation which makes such a differance, and it was secluded, quiet and very well maintained - we had a great time.
Ms M from Corby

We had a brillaint time! The weather was perfect and the kids and dog loved the beach. The Seacote Hotel do lovely meals and we ate there most nights, and one day we even had lunch as well! Brekermont, the next village along has a lovely pub and do lovely meals - the pub is called The White Mare and it is very friendly and child friendly. If you want a quieter walk then go up to Tarnside Park, the sister park to Seacote, and the beach there is fab!
Mr H from Durham

We have never holidayed in a caravan before, but we chose St Bees as we grew up nearby and were visiting family. We were very very surprised how much we enjoyed the break. The caravan was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the park was also clean, quiet and very well maintained. We were made very welcome on arrival, the reception staff went out of their way to explain about the heating, etc. The location is wonderful and the view from our caravan was brilliant. I was particularly impressed by how clean and safe the beach was - our granddaughter loved the rock pools and making sandcastles. It was also nice to see the cows and sheep grazing so close to the park. Whitehaven, Cleator Moor and Egremont are all close enough to grab a takeaway or indulge in a little shopping, The Beacon is also well worth a visit. The Lakes afford some wonderful walks, all within a short drive and The Duddon Valley is magnificent at any time of year. It is also worth walking along the beach towards Braystones and Nethertown - we will be back!
Mrs C from Wisbech

If you are looking for a quiet, well placed park then this is ideal for exploring the area.
Mr W from Peebles

ST Bees is a lovely site to take children. The beach is nice and close with rockpools and sand to enjoy without too many shops or much commercialisation. The cafe provides icecream or a nice hot brunch on a rainy day. We have now visited three times and look forward to visiting next year.
Mrs B from Chester

Excellent access to a clean beach from the holiday park. The childrens park on site and the sea side cafe are good.
