We needed somwhere we could safely bring our large (well behaved) dog and Sandy Bay was ideal. Admittedly, it was early in the season and Sandy Bay was nowhere near full so the park was comparatively quiet, but everything was open to the public, well appointed, clean, and all the staff were welcoming and helpful. I would recomend for a short break but it would have been far too quiet for a week or longer. We arrived one day late for our break and the 3 days was long enough onsite.
