"Delightful traditional refurbished two storey farmhouse. Ground floor: Large family kitchen leading through to conservatory and garden. Dining room, lounge and separate sitting room. Family Bathroom and shower room. First floor: Two double bedrooms, one ensuite and one twin bedroom. Family bedroom with one double and an adjoining twin room (ideal for children). All non smoking. No Pets."

We booked a lodge at Pound Farm for a steal of a price and so didn't have huge expectations about what the accommodation was going to be like. How surprised were we? It was absolutely brilliant - clean, spacious, tasteful decor and, perhaps most importantly, very practical for the needs of 7 people. Particularly impressive as we ranged from 7 - 70 years of age! The park itself has an area at the back which was great for playing "outdoorsy" games, and the location was excellent for accessing the Lakes. It also gave us the opportunity to take advantage of the numerous surrounding off road tracks, so if hiking or biking is your thing, this is the place to come.
