Customer reviews

The location was perfect for families, dog lovers, walkers and nature lovers. The caravan was cosy and warm and the lady who showed us around was extremely helpful, directing us to local shops etc. All in all a lovely weekend and we will definitely be booking for next year.!
Mrs M from Manchester

A complete get away from it all - quiet, relaxing, a lovely place!
Mr. S from Chesterfield

Lovely relaxing holiday - lots of good walking areas ideal place for dog walking.
Mrs O from Preston

An absolutely brilliant park and accommodation for people with dogs. The many different walks offer splendid views of lakes, mountains and the beach.
Mr W from Accrington

You couldnt improve it any more for us, it was perfect - as a couple in our early fifties this place was ideal!
Mrs W from Newton On Ouse

Port Haverigg was a lovely place and we had a very well equipped caravan.
Mrs P from Chester

A nice, quiet park overlooking the sea and close to both Millom and Port Haverigg.
Mr H from Chorley

A good location with peace and quiet and a great place to exercise our dogs. This was our second visit but not our last!
Mrs W from Nottingham

I have family in Millom so use this sight 4+ times a year as do my parents. The lady that meets you can not do enough all you have to do is ask. Plenty of places to walk if you don't want to use the car. Millom and Haverigg are small places but they were booming in the early years before the iron works closed. And very friendly people.
Mrs G from London

Location was great, holiday home was also very clean and well presented and there was plenty of friendly people on site willing to stop and give advice.
Mr P from Sale

Always recommend and my parents stay there to. I always book and they pay. My sister has stayed to and other friends of ours have stayed there to over the years.
Mrs G from London

The accommodation is faultless and very clean, the food and service at the restaurant and bar was second to none. Overall a fantastic place with fantastic people!
Mrs W from Altrincham

I would certainly recommend the site to water sports skiing enthusiasts, as access to the lake and club ski bar were our primary reasons for booking the holiday. The fact that it was dog friendly was also a plus. it is our intention to use the park a couple of times a year.
Mr R from Manchester

This is our second holiday at this park and it won't be our last, the caravan was well equipped and comfortable. It is located so near to all the lakes and next to a beautiful long clean beach, such a friendly site - so relaxing!
Mrs I from Liverpool

For those looking for a relaxing, peaceful holiday then Port Haverigg is the place. Untouched by tourism Port Haverigg has an unspoilt charm and is ideal for walkers and nature lovers being situated by a large lake and the beach.
Mr F from Bradford

Good accommodation, close to beaches and a nature reserve and also easy walking distance to the nearest town.
Mr A from Northwich

I found on this holiday you can be as active as you wish - there are walks, ski-ing, swimming, mountain climbing and if you wish you can take your bike. We tried everything and we also found time to sit and relax fpr a few days as well!
Miss M from Liverpool

A fantastic location and a lovely, quiet and friendly park that suited us, the children and the dog perfectly!
Mrs P from Warrington

Excellent walks, lovely to watch the wildlife and just a 20 minute drive to the lakes. Port Haverigg is a well run park, - it is clean, well laid out and the staff are friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this holiday location!
Mrs R from Telford

A ideal break for those who love to be surrounded by water. You have the coast, watersports lake and little inlets for with boats and jet skis moored.
Mrs B

A great cheap holiday, exactly the same facilities as there are to be had abroad.
Mr M from Wigan

The caravan was lovely - I'd say the best we've ever stayed in.
Mrs R from Leicester

Great location, quiet, friendly staff.
Mrs W from Nottingham

We stayed in one of the best equipped caravans we have ever been in, the lady who met us was very helpful, and the park was beautiful and quiet - just what we were looking for, many thanks!
Mrs B from Blackburn

The accommodation was above our expectations. The location on the edge of the lakes was easy drive to some great walks, terific scenery, castles, stone circles and wildlife.
Mrs F from Coventry

An ideal park for young children with a playarea, sand and swimming pool, but not over commercialised. A thoroughly relaxing holiday!
Mrs S from Warrington

We've never been on a caravan holiday before and expected it to have some very basic facilities. Although the pictures on the site indicated that the accommodation was going to be good, we had to see it to believe it! Our expressions on entry were 'WOW', and that says it all. Spotlessly clean and very well furnished - it was a delightful experience from the very start. We were late in our arrival but the person in charge was very gracious, helpful and welcoming. Besides the accommodation, the area around too was good for wee walks. All in all, a fabulous time in a fabulous place!
Mr M from Glasgow

The whole family enjoyed their stay here , will be looking to go back next year again.
Mr J from Duns

We enjoyed the quiet side of the Lake District, also the fact that it is situated on the coast.
Mr M from Bolton

A very quiet part of the Lake District, not well known with no loud music or loud groups of people. Highly recommended for families or couples wanting a quieter holiday.
Mrs G from Oldham

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at Port Haverigg, the accommodation was excellent as was the scenery around the park. Mountains at one side and the sea at the other and plenty to keep the little children entertained.
Mrs D from Dewsbury

This holiday location is an ideal base for visiting the beautiful Lake District. There is lots to do very close to the beach and some lovely walks are to be had around the nature reserve. We've been here twice now and are booking again for next year as the caravan was very reasonably priced and it is an ideal getaway for any family.
Mr B from Hull

The holiday was very competitively priced and the caravan was excellent with great accommodation.
Mr. C from Accrington

If people want a restful holiday then it is ideal, and there were plenty of grassy areas for children to play ball games without being a nuisance to others.
Mrs H from Whitehaven

The caravan was very clean and comfortable, and having two toilets was indeed a luxury! We all had an extremely pleasant holiday.
Mrs B from Willenhall

An excellent location and a nice quiet place with very nice and modern caravan - we will be back again!
Mr P from Stowmarket

A park on the beautiful Cumbrian coastline at the very northern end of Morecambe Bay with the sand/sea at one side and the Lake District Mountains at the other with its own micro climate. Also situated within 200 metres of a free RSPB site. A lovely, quiet location.
Mr B from Bradford

A perfect getaway for long strolls along the beach, and it is only an hour or so from the lakes.
Mrs R from Windermere

A great location to visit the West Lakes.
Mr H from Southport

A lovely, quiet location, a warm welcome and the cleanest caravan we have stayed in. Highly recommended!
Mr W from Accrington

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday - the caravan was excellent and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you so much!
Mrs C from Buckley

We would recommend this park for the quality of the caravan, the water sport facilities and the friendly atmosphere.
Mrs C from Liverpool

If you are looking for a quiet, way from it all holiday then this is the place to come. If you want to see the lakes and surrounding areas it is an ideal base.
Mrs J from Middleton

I would recommend the holiday because the caravan had everything we could want and more - it was clean and lovely. The staff couldn't have done more to help - it was just great!
Mrs J from Morecambe

A very quiet park - somewhere to get away from the usual busy life - able to walk from the park along beach or the sea wall and no need to use the car!
Mr M

If you like to holiday by the coast and yet be able to access the Lake District, then this is the ideal park. Close to all tourist spots but at the same time, away from it all.
Mrs M

The best caravan we have ever stayed in.
Mr O

There's an away-from-it-allness about the area around Haverigg and a sense of exciting industrial history. It is perfectly situated for exploring this part of the Lake District.
Mr A from Livingston
