Great time
Elizabeth from Shotts (16 April 2018)

Beautiful setting. View as you approach the park is spectacular. Quiet, peaceful break away. Beautiful walks on beach or surrounding area.
Carolyn from Glasgow (13 April 2018)

A fabulous week, even the snow became a holiday memory! the only downside was not being able to park next to the caravan for loading and unloading the car everyday, however this wouldn’t have been an issue if the weather had been kinder to us.
Joanne from Inverurie, Aberdeenshire (07 April 2018)

We were right on the beach which was beautiful. The restaurant and bar were warm and comfortable. The food was good but no choice for vegans. it rained all week which was unfortunate but we had plenty of nice day trips out including a lovely day at paxton house which I would recommend. We were an extended family group in three caravans with everyone from babies to grannies so it suited us all. Will definitely return.
Anne from Isle Of Lewis (07 April 2018)

Great location and lovely caravan, staff very friendly. . only downside hot water in the kitchen lasted about 1minuwt and there wasn’t a little path the the caravan door like on many of the others
Tanya from Only Downside Hot Water In The Kitchen Lasted Abou (11 March 2018)

Overall very happy with this break. The staff were very welcoming on arrival. The heating had been switched on and a bottle of prosecco left. They called in an hour after checking in to make sure there were no problems. The caravan was immaculate and every there that we would need. The setting is lovely with a private beach. The only down side for us was that there are no facilities within walking distance from the park, so we missed shops and a local pub. For a quiet getaway or a family holiday i'm sure this site would be perfect. Definitely very good value for money and we came away wanting to purchase a static home!
Beverley from Rossendale (09 March 2018)

We had a lovely week here, the shower in our lodge was only giving us cold water so we got upgraded to another lodge, the staff were very helpful.
Elaine from Stockton (26 January 2018)

Loved it, best place we have stayed in a long time
Andrew from Mansfield (18 December 2017)

Beach is stunning, fab park great for kids cant wait to come back x
Lee from Bellshill (27 November 2017)

The caravan was great I cannot fault the staff or the site
Roy from Burntwood (17 November 2017)

Lovely holiday fantastic setting caravan good for what we needed it was a base as we made the most of the great places to visit staff on site good and the food in the bar was excellent would use this park again no problem
Patricia (03 November 2017)

Best place on earth
Moira from East Calder (03 November 2017)

Lovely long weekend break we were welcomed by the heating already on and glow from the loung lamp after a 6 hour journey from staffordshire
Lynn from Staffordshire (30 October 2017)

Wonderful place to stay for great views and watching the sea . the site has been made better with more activities for children and mid week quiz was hilarious restaurant was good value too
Margaret from Whitburn (20 October 2017)

Great wee break really enjoyed it , caravan clean and had everything you would need and comfortable
Julie from West Lothian (13 October 2017)

Absoulout brilliant. great place. Always has been. Now with the new bar and restaurant, amazing. X
Betty from Falkirk (29 September 2017)

Lovely location right by the beach, caravans were nicely spaced out and not to close to each other I will probably visit this park again.
Charmain (29 September 2017)

Pease bay is a fantastic place to relax and as a central place to venture out from. I was able to enjoy the leisure facilities at thurston manor also. My only criticism is that what was termed as a 'superior 3' accommodation turned out to be the site 'basic' accommodation. It was comfortable and clean but the term superior leads you to believe that you are getting something better than basic. I had a fabulous time there.
Ian from Biggar (11 September 2017)

As always pease bay was fantastic as we have been visiting for over 25 years , first time in a lodge and it was nice though there were a few dents at end of worktop , dirty splashes on the living area roof and was generally looking like it was getting a bit tired looking and for the extra cost aposed to a caravan in my opinion not worth the extra money . also there was no cd / dvd player . thanks
Richard from Bonnyrigg (11 September 2017)

My children dogs and I had a fantastic break. Caravan lovely new and clean . only thing I found as a responsible dog owner is some didn't clean up after their dog . i'm surprised as it looks like lots own their vans.
Stef from Durham (01 September 2017)

The park & it's facilities were perfect. the caravan was excellent, being fully equipped & spotlessly clean. the restaurant served reasonable priced delicious food, of which we were frequent visitors. (well who wants to cook on holiday?) over all with the beach on our doorstep, & the stunning views, it all contributed to us having a fantastic & very relaxing holiday. Many many thanks.
Michael from Cardiff (21 August 2017)

The only reason I have a low score for facilities is that there is no swimming pool and a number of the the machines (including the change machine) in the little arcade on site we're out of order.
Samantha from Warrington (05 August 2017)

Absolutely beautiful park..friendly staff, clean caravan and beautiful setting
Alison (22 July 2017)

Family of 4 on a four night stay tidy clean site helpful staff caravan excellent plenty to visit around about definitely be back
John from Bellshill (14 July 2017)

Brill
Robert from Aberdeen (03 July 2017)

Excellent place for quiet, peaceful walks with the dog. Great that the dog could be off lead on beach and in nature reserve. A lot of dogs staying but all under control. Caravan warm, comfortable and well equipped.
Mrs Margaret from Whitley Bay (03 July 2017)

The caravan was very dated . the remote did not work and they could not replace it. The cooking utensils were fit for 2 people not 6. Entertainment very limited and boring
Pallavi from High Wycombe (03 July 2017)

The site, scenery and staff were fantastic. Everybody was cheery and more than happy to help. The caravan standard was amazing!!
Pamela from Whitburn (01 July 2017)

Nice clean and tidy lodge however it's position is next to a road and foot bridge going over a ford. this was quite busy at times with other people going over and the lodge didn't have any blinds or net curtains for a degree of privacy. also it's postion is opposite the recycling bin area! not near the sea as thought it would be. would go back again maybe a different cabin or caravan. bar and restaurant really good and staff friendly and food good value for money. If you have dogs the beach at the site is a great way to tire them out! !
Rebecca (23 June 2017)

Beautiful bay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only negative; the 4 steps to caravan weren't secured to anything and husband fell to the ground when the steps fell to the side. Staff quickly secured to the ground but we're still a bit shaky. Dog wasn't comfortable using the steps. Visited over camp sites and they had same steps which were bolted to the caravans. More secure than ours. . a bit worrying if your mobile isn't 100%. apart from this incident I would recommend this holiday. The caravan was spotless, well maintained, well equipped and the site was quiet at night. nice peaceful holiday.
Andrea from Beith (16 June 2017)

Main criticism was lack of indoor play areas for young children, important when dealing with scottish weather!
Ceri from Edinburgh (22 May 2017)

Lovely tranquil place to chill fan walks and scenery and caravans fab. Have been going since I was a child
John from Tranent (08 May 2017)

Enjoyed a very peaceful week.it was a bit different from 50 years ago which was the last time I was there but will be back again. Thank you for your choice of caravan which helped with our mobility problems.
William from Bonnyrigg (06 May 2017)

Beautiful surroundings. Staff really helpful. Enjoyed our stay & will be back.
Colette from Dunfermline (01 May 2017)

Love coming to pease bay and am sure will return again many times more. it should be a well kept secret for those that know, as the spot is just perfect! the quiet site is perfect for the kids and the newly revamped bar and restaurant are lovely - and still serving good food. the beach? what can you say.. stunning. love the local area, always visiting dunbar, cove harbour and eyemouth. i'm not sure i'll ever tire of it. Can't recommend it enough.
Liz from Gateshead (01 May 2017)

Nice park and caravan, sadly no food in the clubhouse tuesday to thursday . went to sister site at thurston manor for evening meals. Unfortunately as a result of this had to take the car and unable to drink.
David (29 April 2017)

Was a bit sceptical booking a pet friendly caravan however need not have worried caravan was great no complaints whatsoever. Not a lot to do on site but good base for touring local area. Site right on beach so ideal if you have a dog and would be even better if the weather was good.
Elizabeth from Airdrie (21 April 2017)

Loved the area and the site, the only downside was the first night somebody decided to have a party and made a lot of noise and we all had a bad night's sleep.
David from Ashington (17 April 2017)

Wonderful relaxing beach holiday. only 30 mins from edinburgh but feels completely remote and idyllic.
Reet from Edinburgh (07 April 2017)

We went end of march so was very quiet and peaceful. Lodge was lovely very clean and cosy. New decor in bar area was very nice. A great stay thanks.
John from Rosyth (31 March 2017)

We had great holiday only thing for us was the beds the mattress needed replaced in out caravan there where not in a good way
Angela (27 March 2017)

Lovely holiday in a great location.caravan was clean and . . comfortable and came complete with linen and towels. The . . restaurant and bar were good with reasonable prices. The . . location is perfect with lots of towns to explore close by.
Robert from Dumfries (27 March 2017)

Our caravan was beautyfull and been so close to beach was wonderfull and surroundings everything was just great
Bridget from Manchester (24 March 2017)

We will definitely be back, myself and boys loved every minute of our stay.
Ashley from Penicuik (20 March 2017)

E for excellence all round. we did not use the eating/dining area but that was our choice. The caravan was amazing, clean, fully equipped, warm and cosy (could have done with a couple of hooks in the bathroom for clothes, towels etc. But found a use for a skirt hanger that worked a treat.) our only gripe was a member of staff who insisted on motoring up the roadway with a very noisy golf buggy at 7am every morning - we were on holiday!!!
Jacqueline from Bradford (18 March 2017)

Nice break made better by good weather stay at holiday park excellent . only critism was the regimental layout of caravans
Alf from Hexham (17 March 2017)

Had a lovely break however amusements werent open
Angela from Shotts (13 March 2017)

Beautiful setting, lovely beach area.
Jeanette from Glasgow (26 September 2016)

Very nice caravan beautiful location lovely meal in restaurant will definitely be back
John from Fife (23 September 2016)

Lovely camp and area. Caravan very clean, spacious and well stocked . quiet when we went which was what we wanted. dog friendly.
Kim (16 September 2016)

Overall good break but being dog friendly we would have expected to have an area other than the beach to give the dog some freedom, a green area, also the dog was not allowed in any areas of the club. We appreciate where food and children are is no go but surely a small area in the bar could be set aside. Apart from that it is a stunning place and the caravan was spotless.
David from Kirkcaldy (12 September 2016)

All good except for being double booked on the friday and having to go to another site till saturday
Margaret from Stenhousemuir (12 September 2016)

The location was lovely with the views and beach and the caravan was really nice too. However the bar/restaurant area was very dated without much atmosphere. we also went to use the iron and ironing board only to find that it didn't work and the staff didn't seem to know that it didn't work and were not very helpful when we pointed it out which was a huge disappointment as we were attending a wedding and had to go to the wedding in creased clothes.
Helena from Reigate (15 August 2016)

It is ok for a break would not buy a holiday home at pease bay though.
Richard from Bo'Ness (06 August 2016)

Just great.
Carol (22 July 2016)

Really enjoyed our break, especially travelling to places like st abbs and other places. Pease bay was in an ideal location.
James from Glasgow (08 July 2016)

In love with this place booking for end of month then bk for week in oct then over newyear
Janice from Newcastle (04 July 2016)

Relaxing
Elizabeth from Falkirk (17 June 2016)

Can't fault the caravan, excellent value for money. Everything you could want, large, ensuite in bedroom, double shower. Beautiful area, beach clean. What lets it down is the facilities in the site. The club is small and old fashioned and the site is far away from anywhere. You would need a car as there really isn't anything to do apart from the beach. Would definately come back if the club was modernised, so much more could be done for kids.
Susan from Glasgow (13 June 2016)

We have 2 dogs we take with us and it was the 3rd time we stayed in 51 bayview, never again, it was dirty the smell of dog when I opened th door was overpowering. I had to clean the carpet once I had emptied the hoover and took the filte outside and cleaned it, I set about hoovering , I got half a small sandwich bag of hair and more when I took a damp cloth round the edge of the carpet. A bottle of febreze later and it smelt a lot better.
Lorraine from Fife (10 June 2016)

Been going there for 20yrs, they used to have caravan hire all over the park, now its only one area, also used to take tourers but no more, pity that) over all its beautiful at pease bay! the beach is stunning. Go at low season and get a good price, go at high season and expect to pay a fortune!
Jackie from Bathgate (20 May 2016)

Good value. the accommodation was very good and the caravan was immaculate as was the bedding.
Richard from Glasgow (13 May 2016)

Lovely relaxing place. Very clean site and clean caravan with everything we needed. Local pubs meals were good and staff were very nice.
Stuart (14 March 2016)

Beautiful location an very clean site.staff very helpful an will definetly be going back again
Lynda from Livingston (14 March 2016)

Very nice caravan and a nice clean site, had a nice quiet and peaceful stay, looking. Forward to another stay in the future
William from Kirkcaldy (07 March 2016)

Great site but only downside was those that own there caravans as always think they can speed about and don't need to put there dogs on a lead. The staff in vans where speeding about as well. Apart from that it was a great site!
Andrew from Scotland (30 November 2015)

Enjoyed your site only thing was the caravan .it was clean but it was not the one we booked it was for people in wheel chairs. we would have liked a caravan with a view of the sea .
Margaret from Milton Of Campsie (09 November 2015)

Site was really nice. All staff really pleasant . we had a few issues with the cabin but it didn't spoil our holiday.
Jenny from Thornaby On Tees (06 November 2015)

I love pease bay. Such a beautiful location for a relaxing break and our lodge was lovely. The only thing I would suggest is the park needs more lights. There was no light at around our cabin and the ground and paving is uneven and I fell quite badly and hurt my shoulder and leg. I actually fell into a wall I couldn't see in the pitch black. I was holding my sons hand so I took him down with me. There are no lights at the playpark either which is a shame as it was so mild for october and they wanted to play there. A small floodlight would have been perfect.
Sharmaine from Perth (23 October 2015)

Luved every thing about it
Gillie from Eyemouth (12 October 2015)

Thouroughly enjoyed a nice quiet, relaxing week, my daughter booked with her husband the same week my husband and I went, just to see how she like it,food in the resturant has definately improved since last time being there, staff wre lovely and very helpful, reception staff were so helpful too. Would definately come back and I have recommended to friends too,if you enjoy the tranquility & peace & quiet then peas bay is definately the place .
Caroline from Livingston (03 October 2015)

Fantastic location, beach on doorstep and great for walking.
Vivienne (25 September 2015)

We had a lovely weekend at pease bay caravan really nice apart from sofa had a tear would have been liked kids entertainment to have been earlier as too late for us
Jacqueline from Bonnyrigg (21 September 2015)

Had a lovely holiday weather was great beach is perfect two min walk the only thing was there was not enough entertainment we only got one night and that was the night we arrived food in restaurant was lovely good selection

Really nice place to stay and very friendly staff. . a little disappointed with the arcades as there wasn't a lot of choice and most of it didn't work. . . the caravan was the nicest we have ever stayed in. . . there was disabled parking but these where just normal parking spaces and left no room to get out of the car. My husband had to reverse to get me in and I had to get out before he could park which was a little tricky. It wouldn't have been any good if i'd had need to use my wheelchair! . . the beach was amazing and clean and very easy to get to. . . I would stay here again although there was a few things that where disappointing the view and pleasant staff made our stay worth while.
Dawn from Billingham (01 August 2015)

Excellent caravan really comfortable helpful staff.a nice bonus being provided with towels

Have been coming to peasebay as a family since childhood and now my own children age 23 and 25 count it as one of their favourite places. Our party consisted of my mum, 76, myself 50 my daughters and a puppy and we all enjoyed the park equally, a special family time. Obviously it has changed since the days of the "malcolm's" but despite becoming part of a holiday network the staff are all really friendly and the site remains greatly unspoiled. It is an oasis from the world and a morning walk in the morning just sets you up for the day. The lady in the shop was great too and the caravan perfect for my elderly mum who has a heart condition.

Pease bay is an absolute find. this was our second time here - to get away from it all and enjoy the amazing views. the beach is stunning, we love just sitting and watching the waves and the park staff are so friendly and helpful. the shop has everything you could ever want and the bar and restaurant provide a nice atmosphere and good food.

An excellent place to either lounge or sight see. I fully recommend pease bay leisure complex. The staff are both friendly and helpful. Be sure to try a meal in the on site restaurant, the food is excellent. If you are a surf bum this is the place to be.

Really relaxing, great beach ,not much very near but great for visiting edinburgh . dunbar nearest civilisation 8 miles includes great food places harbour with seals and cheap trains into edinburgh.great for couples. If taking older children just remember that mobile and internet access could really only be got in the clubhouse ..great for us oldies though

I gave it a 9 instead of 10 only because of the lock on the caravan door I felt could have been higher out of reach of young children. I would have had better peace of mind knowing they could not get out. Luckily there was two adults to always keep an eye on the children.

Samantha from Glasgow (06 October 2014)

Accomadation fantastic
Confirmed Holidaymaker (06 October 2014)

Cleanest caravan I have been in and by far the most spacious I have been on holiday in to
Robert from West Lothian (22 September 2014)

We had an amazing stay and the kids absolutely loved it, already recommending to friends!
Sarah-Jane from Wakefield (30 August 2014)

This is a fantastic place to stay if you like the beach. Direct easy access straight onto the sand and then rockpooling when the tide is out all meant that we spent hours on the beach with our children. The club is a little tired looking but the staff were very friendly. Be sure to go for a walk in the nature reserve behind the site, we weren't told about it and only stumbled across it by accident and the kids loved seeing the wild deer that were there. We are already planning our next visit to pease bay
Alison from North Yorkshire (29 August 2014)

Excellent location. The park was well maintained. The club house needs a makeover but we self catered so only watched the football. The caravan was not good vfm when compared to renting a house in the same area. The caravan wasn't particularly well equipped - worn out frying pans and not enough side plates,
Ron from Newcastle Upon Tyne (23 August 2014)

Lovely site. Lovely beach
Claire from Dalton In Furness (16 August 2014)

Park was lovely for a quiet, family beach holiday.
Kathryn from Haltwhistle (16 August 2014)

We have holidayed here for several years, in those years the site has started to look tired. The cleanliness of our caravan was not of the standard we have usually found.
Mark from North Yorkshire (09 August 2014)

Lovely quiet and relaxing caravan park, beautiful surroundings. Great that all the caravans are so close to the beach, great for popping back for lunch etc. The only negative would be that there was no sitting area outside the pub.
Lisa from Chester-Le-Street (25 July 2014)

Log cabin was beautiful and very accomodating, there is not enough on in regards to entertainment, and the food this year was really awful considering how good it was the first 2 years we stayed at pease bay, something really has to be done about that as going. Out of the bay every night for dinner is a lottle inconvenient with young children
Fay (14 June 2014)

Lodge located next to waste dumper & oposite empty scrap caravans. Only lodge to accept dogs so no choice
John from Durham (06 June 2014)

Previous customer so fully aware of the park.
Alan from Bonnyrigg (02 May 2014)

Love this place! peaceful and beautiful. Magnificent- we keep coming back!
Alison from Middlesbrough (09 December 2013)

Beautiful location
Helen from Ancrum (18 November 2013)

Nice bay and nature reserve, but quite close to a cement works and nuclear power station!
Pamela from Peebles (14 October 2013)

The location was good easy access to countryside, beaches and towns and cities of interest. Helped by unexpectedly great weather.
Jane from Ashbourne (11 October 2013)

Lovely views of the bay. Quiet setting. Visited a lot of places within the area. Negatives not able to get a reception on mobile phone but some might think it is a blessing. Reception if you went to the top of the hill. Would go again.
Linda from Shipley (05 October 2013)

Nearness to beach
Anne from Lesmahagow (21 September 2013)

All was good
Kirsty from Midlothian (16 September 2013)

Everything was what we wanted
Lewis from Newcastle (06 September 2013)

Peacefull with lovely beach right on hand
Raymond from Leeds (02 September 2013)

Quiet. Close to beach close to supermarket
Stuart from Warwickshire (24 August 2013)

Excellent location. Customer service
Nicholas from Rochester (24 August 2013)

Beautiful surroundings, quite tranquil
Danielle from Edinburgh (23 August 2013)

The location is beautiful. The children spent every day playing on the beach. Our caravan was absolutely lovely. We enjoyed the activities at the club and all staff members were friendly. The beauty of pease bay is that it is not overly commercialised as many other sites are. This allows for a very relaxing break with the opportunity to use the club and facilities if desired.
Pamela from Armadale (16 August 2013)

Beautiful setting and very relaxing, just being able to stroll onto the beach from your caravan then back for lunch or just a cuppa was a real bonus, some lovely places to visit just a short drive away, north berwick / dunbar and berwick upon tweed to name just three.
Lynne from Kingston Upon Hull (10 August 2013)

Excellent location, great for kids, peaceful
Carole from Hull (10 August 2013)

Childrens entertainment was very good. The restaurant food was lovely and good value for money. The beach is beautiful and well kept.
Fiona from Motherwell (03 August 2013)

Marvellous for grandmothers and grandchildren alike. The caravan was good: plenty of room, and the site was wonderful for children to enjoy freely. The sea even laid on a couple of dolphins one afternoon.
Margaret from Edinburgh (03 August 2013)

The beach was clean and close enough to walk although having been I would pick a lodge at the other end of the bay as my husband has mobility problems and walking in the sand was hard for him. It did not stop us having a great holiday .
Margaret from Cumberna (03 August 2013)

Beautiful setting ,easy to get to places, beautiful beach
Julie from Salford (27 July 2013)

Lovely location. Food in the restaurant was excellent.
Rhona from West Lothian (26 July 2013)

The site is kept clean & secure
Neil from Biggar (26 July 2013)

Fantastic location and great facilities. Staff very helpful.
Margaret from Motherwell (19 July 2013)

Super site for a safe relaxing break. Not commercialised..yahoo!. secluded tranquill spot,we love the site and surrounding area.
Neil from Consett (03 June 2013)
