The cottages are lovely and the park is immaculate and well situated for Filey and Scarborough. There is loads to do nearby and it is an ideal family holiday destination. Ms P from Stockport
The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to help us when there was a problem with the launderette. The lady at reception used her personal tumble dryer to dry our laundry for us! Very grateful. The playpark was great and so was the mini railway.Overall, I would recommend the park to friends. The cottages were beautiful and set in gorgeous landscaped garden with raised brick beds and little paths with arches covered in greenery. I took photos of this before I left. This park is set in a small village but it has everything you need should you not wish to travel - a chinese, a chippy, a bakery, a Co-Op and a pizza shop, plus three public houses that are very welcoming and a few other shops for those little holiday gifts. It is also a good location for days out and the surrounding seaside resorts of Filey, Scarborough and Bridlington should you want to venture out for the day, but I would recommend that you return to the park bar when its open for a drink at the end of the day! The site was lovely. It was quiet and is great if you have children - the play area and railway was a big hit with our 2 year old son. We rented a cottage it cost the same price as you would pay for a caravan at other big holiday parks and we couldn't believe the quality. It was clean, very spacious and well equipped.
