The whole place is relaxing and tranquil. Oxford is a must, use the park and ride, it was inly £4 return for a family of 3. If you wish to get away for a total relaxation break in luxury accommodation then Oaksey Country Cottages is just for you. We stayed in the Badminton cottage (don't be misled by the word cottage as this to me conjures up - small, tiny but this it definitely wasn't)! It was excellent - 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs, 1 shower room /toilet downstairs, a fabulous kitchen/dinning room, patio doors leading from the kitchen or lounge into a secluded area at the back of the cottage where you have your own private hot tub. There are also patio doors leading onto the courtyard from the other side of the lounge - there is also a restaurant and bar at the park (they also hire out DVD's if you forget to bring your own). We had a great break even though the weather was awful, and so I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this park to others if they too want to get away from it all for a while.
