Customer reviews

Lovely peaceful site, I would recommend to anyone who wants a lovely holiday, many places to visit and friendly helpful staff.
Mr N from Poole

An ideal venue for coastal walks.
Mr W from Drybrook

A beautiful location, excellent surroundings, the grounds are well maintained, the staff are very friendly and great accommodation. It was a real pleasure to stay at Newlands, so much so, it was difficult to leave! But we are looking forward to going back soon!
Miss B from Walton-On-Thames

A good base for visiting other resorts.
Mr W from Hailsham

The campsite was wonderful. The views across the valley were rural and green and serene and it made a good holiday better. The staff were attentive but not pushy, helpful, well mannered and cheerful.
Mrs. P from Newport

I highly recommend Newlands Campsite. The facilities were excellent, especially the children's play area and indoor pool which we used a lot with our three year old. We had a fantastic week away and would certainly stay at Newlands again of we are down in Dorset.
Mrs N from Bolton

A great park in a great location, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the beach is close and the kids loved the pools. We wanted to stay on the site!
Miss S from Southampton

There was too much to do in the area for one week. Membership of English Heritage opens even more doors (even temporary membership available for non-UK residents). The sandy beach at Cobb (Lyme Regis) is a gem, that is worth getting to early for a parking space.
Mrs W from Abbeyknockmoy

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the childrens playground had something for all ages which was great.
Mrs W from Bolton

Very peaceful with opportunities to see squirels, pheasants, bats and other wildlife. Very good facilities throughout the park and very helpful and friendly staff.
Mr M from Edinburgh

This was our second visit!
Mrs C from Witney

All the staff were very friendly and helfpul.
Mrs C from Witney

Lovely quiet posistion.
Mrs M from Bedford

When I arrived at Newlands Holiday Park it was not what I expected at all. The caravan was spotless throughout. The dog run area is an absolutely fantastic idea it was wonderful to have somewhere save to exercise my dogs especially as I don't have this luxury at home. The local beach were beautiful and not touristy at all (which I prefer!). There is also a fabulous butchers where you can get your sausage egg and bacon for breakfast in the morning!
Miss S from Crawley

Difficult to fault!
Mr B from Rochester

Our hoilday was fantastic, it suited my whole family, my two year old was excited from the start of our hoilday right to the end, I will definitely using Hoseasons for our next holiday and feel anyone looking for a good hoilday should too.
Mr S from Woodbridge

Well-maintained and equipped. Superb even on the rainiest days!
Mrs R from Norwich

Great location, lovely site and staff.
Mrs S from Stoke-On-Trent

Quite a few families there but still peaceful and the communal areas were spotless. Our dog went with us and there was a "doggy walk area".
Mrs M from Wolverhampton

Very atrractive well maintained park providing good clean facilities that will appeal to campers especially.
Mr C from Brentwood

The park was very well maintained and pleasing to the eye with good facilities on site and an ideal based for exploring, with the beach nearby and Lyme Regis only 10 minutes drive away. We all had a brilliant time with lots to do!
Ms G from Croydon

Such a great Holiday. We had a fantastic view across to Lyme Regis and could see all around Charmouth. The Dog excersize area was great too with more great views. The swimming pool was lovely and clean. The same goes for the Jaccuzzi. Staff were pleasant and helpful and we were made to feel very welcome by the campsite and also the locals in the village. A great place to stay. Would love to visit again one day.
Mrs F from Fareham

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the play area was nice and varied for the children and it was also fantastic to have a centrally heated caravan. We look forward to returning to the park in the future as we enjoyed a lovely family holiday!
Mrs M from Wantage

The whole family had a fantastic holiday and the park was fantastically located for lots of beautiful places and superb walks. The accommodation was a real home from home and we would happily have stayed for longer. We have already recommended this park and Hoseasons to all of our friends and family and will continue to do so, and we very much hope to go back ourselves very soon as well!
Mr W from Erith

A really great break and the kids had a fab time - especially the fossil hunting on the beach!
Mrs T from Waterlooville

Excellent location and the cleanliness was also more than expected - we were thoroughly impressed and will definitely visit again!
Mrs N from Stirling

A lovely break on a well maintained park in beautiful and scenic Dorset. Our caravan was clean, well presented with sweeping views over the countryside. Close to Lyme Regis and the Jurassic Coast it was great for exploring, adults and children loved it and we will definitely return to this area!
Mr R from Cheadle

The park and amenities were very comprehensive. We enjoy walking and peace and quiet and the location was ideal for our requirements.
Mrs G from Alvaston

A most enjoyable way to relax, whatever the weather!
Mr G from Market Drayton

We had an excellent time and this park was an excellent find for us. The staff were helpful, the facilities very good - in particular the cleanliness of the accommodation. The park was not too big and not too small, overall we had a lovely, relaxing time.
Mrs J from Altrincham

I love to recomend this holiday. It is a splendid base for that area of Engand. So much to do and see, something for everybody. I wish we could of stayed longer!

A fantastic break at a fantastic park - great location, good facilities and really, really clean. Took three children aged 11, 6 and 4 and they all thought the park was fab.
Ms D from Wells

Only spent a short break but thoroughly enjoyed it, would like to visit again in the summer season.

A fabulous location - Charmouth beach is idyllic and only a short walk away. Good daytime activities for children, in particular the magican, the majorette session and the pottery painting session were extremely popular and well done.
Mrs T from Pinner

A brilliant park, ideally located, well kept and helpful staff in every way.
Mrs W from Milnthorpe

A good location within walking distance of the local town and beach. Very clean and excellent restaurant food.

Ms H from Bournemouth

We enjoyed our holiday at Charmouth - all the staff were very friendly and helpful and the park was very clean and well maintained.
Mrs H from Bicester

I would definitely recommend this park, it is convinient to nearby beaches, the caravan was clean, bright and spacious and the facilities on site were excellent. We had a very enjoyable holiday and will be returning again!
mrs B from Northampton

Since returning from our holiday in Newlands I have already recommended the park to friends and family. Even though we had booked the basic caravan, it was exceptionally clean, tidy, and had plenty of room for a family of 5. The park was very well maintained, the pools were clean, the entertainment was great and the staff were very friendly.
Mrs L from Croydon

Great for all ages, we took our grandchildren and we all had a great time!
Mrs S from Southampton

With a bit of searching it was possible to find some really good fossils on the beach.
Mr E from Witham

A lovely break away in a lovely place! Will definitely be returning at some point.
Mrs C from Horsham

Fantastic location, great facilities.
Mr G from Romsey

It is a very lovely part of the country, very relaxing and very good value for money!
Mr E from Gravesend

An excellent location for touring East Devon and the surrounding area. A good choice of accommodation, and a friendly, peaceful park with wonderful views over surrounding countryside, yet within minutes of reaching major roads. Good amenities and facilities, and it was great occupying a caravan with heating throughout if one required it. Our holiday overall was excellent value for money and we will certainly return in the near future!
Mrs H from Worthing

I would recommend this park for the location for visiting places of interest, and for walking.
Mr L

Nothing could be improved, excellent value for a short half-term seaside break.
Mrs N from High Wycombe

The location and standard of accommodation was first class for what was paid for our five day break. We will certainly consider repeating it.
Mr R from Bristol

Well equipped site. Conveniently located in lovely countryside near to beautiful coastline
Mr D from West Molesey

If you are looking for a small, friendly park to have a relaxing holiday in then this is it. The staff were so helpful and polite. Nothing was too much trouble. The park was beautifully clean, as were all of the facilities.
Mrs G from Swadlincote

A very family friendly park. Everything is close so there is not too much walking, the on site food is also very good.
Mr S from Chipping Norton

We all had a really good and relaxing time. The park was lovely and quiet as it was off peak and the accommodation was far nicer then we had originally thought.

Mrs L from Watlington

Lovely holiday and accommodation.
Ms S from Wallasey

We took our two grandsons who loved the swimming pool and particularly the outdoor play area which they spent hours on trying to stand up and balance while it moved, I'm afraid i fell off, much to their amusement!

This is a very well family run park with friendly and efficient staff. The indoor pool is a lovely temperature, and although we no longer have small children the childrens enjoyment of their disco evening was a delight. The on site shop was very friendly, the prices were very reasonable and the fresh french bread and croissants were to die for - well at least to get up early for!

If you have children then this is the ideal place to stay as it is a relaxing holiday with excellent views and plenty to do, if you are more interested in visiting places than sitting on a beach.
