Very muddy no lights basic caravan. Average site overall
Barbara (21 April 2018)

The caravan we had was close to the main road which was noisier than expected at night. We were disappointed to find there were no walks directly from the caravan and we felt the menu in the bar was limited.
Sally from Bournemouth (13 April 2018)

Our 3rd year going to looe bay, had a great time. . we had no bedding, on arrival in the caravan, but was brought up to us quickly, when asked for it. Great location
Michelle from Plymouth (09 April 2018)

Loved the holiday only part was no paths to caravan hated getting muddy every time we had to walk out of caravan and also the seagulls on the roaf of caravan was annoying
Kelly (06 April 2018)

Lovely location and indoor pool. Only downside is many caravans have no path so it all gets a bit muddy
Michael (06 April 2018)

We had fantastic time at looe bay for easter week, brilliant staff so sorry for understaffed in bar management ( paul ) you really should address this problem as only reason we would not return, waiting 15 minutes to get served for breakfast in a big long que where only 1 member staff taking orders, working the till and making the coffee, come on please that is so unfair not only on staff my customers too. Despite the rainy days we had fab time in looe , plymouth and st eval kart racing. Caravan basic but spotless and homely .. well done looe bay
Lynn from Dorset (06 April 2018)

We had a lovely stay over the easter holidays. The club house could do with some modernisation but saying that everywhere was clean and tidy. Very friendly and helpful staff even when they were run off their feet.. perhaps staffing levels should be looked at for busy times of the day and evening. Caravan was clean on the service but when we went to use the oven dishes, mugs and wine glasses we found these had been put away unwashed and covered in grease. . the bedding was clean.
Michelle from Bristol (06 April 2018)

Great place, good food.good entreitment. Very friendly staff.
Anna from Swindon (02 April 2018)

We and a basic caravan, this wasn't a holiday for us but a base for us attending a family celebration. The caravan was fine for the cost, clean and basic..with a surprisingly comfortable bed. The weather was wet and cold, we were able to heat the caravan adequately but as there are no foot paths to and from the caravan the mud was a problem especially as we have two dogs. I would recommend creating pathways to avoid this problem.
Georgiana (02 April 2018)

Pool doesn't open til 10am for children. Then shuts at 4.15. No club for children over 11. I've came here very year for the last 5 years. But doesn't seem to cater for children age 11 and over anymore. The kids clubs used to be great and inclusive.
Shelly from Somerset (30 March 2018)

Had a great weekend away with our grandsons ideal location for short break
Christine (26 March 2018)

Didn't actually book this park, our original booking was changed the afternoon of our arrival owing to the original park having no water. In hindsight, this was the better park but were hounded by flies in the caravan. Rectified by purchasing flyspray but still annoying. This was mentioned in a review when the original booking was made, one of the reasons we didn't book it in the first place.
Carel from Portsmouth (23 March 2018)

Had a lovely weekend the weather turned really cold but we were nice and warm in our lovely caravan
Anita from Ottery St Mary Devon (26 February 2018)

Caravan was lovely , some problems ordering food in the restaurant, holiday park very well presented
Antonia from Halesowen (26 February 2018)

Can’t complain for the price, but the caravan was cold, the outside light not working, we told the security guy and he couldn’t care any less cause no one fixed. Caravan very small, cold coming thru the windows. But would go back but to a bigger caravan.
Maria from Barnsley (16 February 2018)

We visit looe bay over 6 years ago before we had children and loved it as it was in a lovely location, however had no real need to use any of its facilities back then so this time with our 6 year old son in tow we made full use of what was available and to be honest, we were quite disappointed. . the showers in the pool had no hot water at all and the restaurant was not taking card payments thus we had to take cash out of the cash machine in the arcade which charged us £1.75 each time. the restaurant was also shabby with light fittings missing and chipped paint and the not everything was available from the menu. . the staff were all very friendly and worked hard but I don't think we will be returning again i'm afraid :(
Kelly from Swansea (16 February 2018)

This was our first time here at looe bay and even tho it was raining and fail force winds on 1 of our nights in the caravan we loved it we still went out every day apart from the wed whete we went to get partys and stayed on complex alday my kids were running back and forth to arcades as our van was right next to it its very clean and friendly the caravan was very clean and the heating worked a treat it was so warm my girls loved sash shes crazy keep up the great work x
Barry from Basildon (16 February 2018)

End of season and I accept that but still paid only 30 less then july rates yet certain food wasn’t available and the takeaway place was closed and the atmosphere felt like they were waiting for us to leave. Entertainment was lovely, lots of enthusiasm
Samantha from Essex (11 November 2017)

Staff so very helpful. Caravan clean and jyst the job. Great facilities. Restaurant nuce and good food. Overall a lovely site. Def be back.
Darran from Colne (11 November 2017)

Good
Ian from Plymouth (30 October 2017)

Some aspects of this park are good. The swimming pool is nice, and the entertainment for children was lovely. . . if you decide to go when the weather isn't so warm, and it rains then expect mud and lots of it!. . caravan was not ready by 4pm so having to hang around waiting with 2 young children wasn't ideal.
Amy (27 October 2017)

Really disappointed we went for our october break paying a lot of money, although the caravan was nice, there were dead flys everywhere so my 1st job was to clean..we went to the onsite pub which was very expensive and the smell in there was awful stale and musty but my girls had to come here each day to use wifi..the club house again very expensive but what really upset us was we had paid alot of money for the site/caravan and drank in the club house only to be shocked at it closing along with the amusements at 10.30 each evening!! now when theres bad weather, and octobers is pretty quiet u would expect to be able to spend ur time in the clubhouse and pool but the pool was never open either .wasted time and money.
David from Looe Bay (21 October 2017)

Site very dated
Linda (20 October 2017)

We spent very little time on the caravan park due to it's lack of facilities - looe bay itself is a beautiful
Tracey (16 October 2017)

Caravan shower was a bit small. Second bedroom door didn't and didn't the bathroom door. There was no way else to take a shower
Steven from London (16 October 2017)

The caravan was really nice and clean, staff were helpful
Jane from Birmingham (13 October 2017)

We had a brilliant holiday, the caravan was. Clean, warm & very comfortable.
Sue from Buxton (22 September 2017)

The caravan was fine as were the staff in the dining areas, but the rest was not enjoyable, the entertainment was very poor and we were back in our caravan by 10.15 every night
Michael from Chatham (16 September 2017)

No issues, apart from it was a bit of a walk to the sea
Helen from Waltham Abbey (16 September 2017)

Staff marvellous, site just needs a spruce up its looking shabby. Line upon line of the same type of van makes it look like barracks rather than a fun place to be. Children's entertainment not inclusive and age relavent. Putting a blaring disco which includes nursery rhymes on is not entertainment. Bar and food very expensive and very poor quality. Kids had a cheese burger that had no cheese they had run out! the burger was about the thickness of a pound coin dry and hard. Come away with the feeling we got charged the maximum for the minimum.
Lily from Bristol (09 September 2017)

Great location for looe..having previously stayed at tencreek this was a little closer and being on the busier east river side. Most useful was the regular bus service. Good clean van. Great facilities..even had stowfords cider! to be fair I didn't use much of the facilities, as I preferred to get out and about..but what I saw looked very good.
Christopher from Worcester (09 September 2017)

Not good parking at all.not many spaces. You should be able to park next to your caravan . laundry left outside in rain getting flithly . the shop on the site is not very good at all. And very expensive .
Louise (08 September 2017)

Friendly staff. Happy to help. Lovely basic but nice caravan. . didn't really like location, no nice sandy beaches local - only one was looe bay but that was it. Wasn't it the greatest of locations for us. . onsite pool was quite small and basic, didn't like the fact it was shut from 1-2, why not rotate staff? as myself and my partner had got ourselves and our 4 month old baby ready for swimming to be turned away as they were on lunch! just found that annoying, of course everyone deserves a break but on a holiday park it should be open all day. Basic onsite facilities a arcade, shop, golf in middle of caravans (could be dangerous?)had breakfast one morning which wasn't that nice and quite expensive, was a nice staff but had better holidays and wouldn't return unfortunately.
Kirsty from Onsite Pool Was Quite Small And Basic, Didn'T (08 September 2017)

Loved the site although we did miss an outdoor pool. Location was good, plenty nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful. V dog friendly. . disappointed overall with the caravan. Booked a high spec (kingsand) and felt it wasn't value for money. Felt small and more geared towards 4 people although stated an 8 berth. Decking was small and outdoor table seated 4.
Rachael from Bolton (02 September 2017)

Caravan smelled extremely musty and there was mould on the wallpaper and curtains. Bought a pizza on site and when I opened the box the centre was still frozen.
Philip (02 September 2017)

One criticism is the seating area to the left of reception was not up to scratch, the large windows and the fascia and soffit have not been cleaned for years.
Gerald from Atherstone'S (02 September 2017)

The caravan itself was a little dated and tired, but generally ok.. however carpets and furniture where dirty and covered with dog hairs, and when you have kids who play on the floor was less than ideal! needed a good clean! the park itself was good however and close to looe which is beautiful!
Helen from Derbyshire (02 September 2017)

I am writing this on behalf of my family who stayed ay looe bay as I booked their accommodation and have asked me to comment. They thought the complex was very good with good amenities. The caravan was a little smaller than they thought, but this was mainly due to their disabilities. However the caravan was very well equipped for their needs. . they were really impressed with the entertainment in the evening, thought it was very well organised and really enjoyed it, along with my nephew who is 14. . they go away at least 4 times a year and i'm sure they will be returning to this site
Edward from Glastonbury (01 September 2017)

Looe was lovely for a family holiday, we had a great week. My only issue was the caravan smelt of dog and there was a lot of dog hair on the chairs and carpet.
Helen from Chester (01 September 2017)

Great holiday amazing place with so much to do and so much to see. Would definitely recommend this place.
Vihan from Chelmsford (01 September 2017)

Stayed in a caravan that was very clean and tidy. Everything was fully functional and in good condition. Lots of activities to do around the park. My 5 years old was very happy and well occupied. Staff extremely helpful and polite. Thoroughly enjoyed our time and would have loved to stay longer if it was possible.
Shahid from Poole (28 August 2017)

Lovely caravan clean all you need for a three night stay went with my daughter and two grand children they loved it
Jacqueline (28 August 2017)

It was clean, staff was very nice friendly and helpful. Entertainment was excellent. Swimming pool was nice.
Kirsty from Peasmarsh (28 August 2017)

We had an amazing holiday
Rhaelia from Burton (26 August 2017)

Clean caravan and site. . entertainment good. . plenty of parking.
Lynette from London (26 August 2017)

Had a lovely holiday apart from needing to visit a&e. We cut across the grass near the crazy golf and my dad slipped over on wet grass. The grass was soaked by a leaking drain with the staff who came out to him seemed to be aware it caused problems during the day when it overflowed. In my opinion if they are aware that a drain overflows the area around it should be roped off until the reason for the overflowing is fixed. Thankfully my dad wasn't badly hurt but he could have been. . I also don't think it's very sanitary to have drains overflowing near the play and games areas. it was running down the crazy golf towards the games courts.
Heather from Gainsborough (26 August 2017)

Excellent location , friendly staff . would stay again
John (26 August 2017)

Shortly after arriving had to compile a list of repairs to the caravan ie; bathroom floor unstable making the toilet lean towards hot radiator maintenance duelly temporarily jacked up, was the main concern. Location too near main road constant heavy traffic keeping us awake and next to main entrance parking was poor. The evening show was too loud unable to understand dj. We understand the staff enjoy performing but you need more entertainers from off the site. Overall the staff were helpful and pleasant and the site was clean and tidy. Would I stay again no.
Robert from North Warwickshire (26 August 2017)

A good base for traveling around cornwall. . clean and friendly place
Jacqueline from Leeds (26 August 2017)

Our caravan was very dirty however the staff handled it well and gave us a better caravan. The swimming pool was basic with no slides etc and general cleanliness of the resort inside was ok.
Janet (26 August 2017)

After complaining about our mobile we was told that's all was available, yet it wasn't what we paid nearly a £1000 for totally disgusted and we intend to go to the papers about it what you do is totally wrong and people should be told !
Mark from Marlow (25 August 2017)

Awfull smell from sewage works right near where we were staying whole place needs renovating bar prices very high area was nice though plenty of places to visit
David from Southamoton (25 August 2017)

Nice site in a good location for visiting attractions in cornwall. Caravan was a good standard. Would stay here again as it was good vdaslue for a last minute booking.
Marianne from Cambridge (25 August 2017)

I'm sorry to say this I had a very bad experience with looe ba. The accommodation was smelling of old moisture me & my family could not sleep, having blocked nose. There were spiders everywhere in the caravan at night, my daughter had a fobbier of spiders. There was a broken hair dryer, from the beach all I wanted is to wash my hair & my daughters & dry it but unfortunately I was told that it will be supplied the following day.
Emmily from Oxfordshire (25 August 2017)

Went to loose in may fantastic had bar out by pool loads of staff apart from smell from sewage farm on site and meals from the restaurant not good cold order not right ran out of food ran out of beer. We went again as it's so close to looe, this time aug no beer no guinee's food still not good sent out chilli nachos without chilli then said ran out caravan mattress needed changing caravan not clean curtains kept falling down loo seat broken so on so on..no staff no bar outside reception closed and no emergency help had to hunt someone down..function room entertainment cost cuts same thing same people over and over again and again and again ... pets had been in static so I was poorly all the time dog hairs everywhere..not good this time...
Nicola from Walsall (19 August 2017)

A fantastic week at looe bay - it was unexpectedly brilliant, with great entertainment on every night, (one particular fabulous night), and great family facilities. Beautiful looe harbour and beach only a mile away. We would definitely come back!
Steve from Carlisle (19 August 2017)

Fabulous holiday at looe bay, the kids really enjoyed the evening entertainment
Mark from Nottinghamshire (19 August 2017)

All was perfect
David from Oxford (18 August 2017)

We were recommended this holiday park after our original booking in devon was cancelled due to maintenance problems and was told they were wavering nearly £600 and 'upgrading us'- the caravan was musty and damp. The entertainment staff tried hard but a tough crowd when entertainment for young children was at 7pm! the food was nice in the evening but breakfast was not great- I had a fair amount of eggshell in my egg and cut my gum- the staff were apologetic and polite. The takeaway on site was disgusting, we didn't have any food from there after seeing the area they were working in to prepare food. . the area is stunning though and looe itself is beautiful. . on a positive my children, who are blissfully unaware had a superb time and the staff were really friendly.
Leanne (18 August 2017)

Lovely site and facilities in a stunning area. Only down side was caravan could have been cleaner
David from Sheffield (18 August 2017)

Great place looe bay. Caravan park clean and tidy .. our caravan upon arrival had hairs all on the mat as we arrived .. caravan cleaning i'd say is below standard.. the entrainment .. what entertainment kids party disco .. quick show at 9 then more disco . and cost of a pint of shandy was just over £5.00 £4.95 a pint then being charged the extra for lemonade .. asked was told that's what we have to charge .. no wonder there's always seats in the club house .. the pool is a little on the small side and restricted .. there are activities there but u have to guess where to book them as we wasn't told anythink when booking in .. and staff always walk around with miserable faces on . a nice little caravan side if it was cared about .. one member of staff was that miserable even my 7 years old didn't want to even speak to her .. the staff at the on side shop was so friendly and welcoming .. the best part about our holiday was spending the time off side in the beautiful looe bay and surrounding bays xxx it's beautifull and breathtaking . more of a place just to sleep than use the actual site.
Emma from Birmingham (18 August 2017)

Hard to be upbeat about a holiday when the caravan we stayed in wasn't in a great condition!
Gemma from Ashford (12 August 2017)

Lovely tidy site, caravan well equipped, friendly and welcoming staff. Well done looe bay!
Tim from Devon (12 August 2017)

This was a great site and would definitely stay there again. Nice clean well laid out caravans. Only about a mile or so from looe itself.
Richard from Dudley, West Midlands (12 August 2017)

Caravan had ripped bedding ripped net curtains burnt table from a cigarette (no smoking) broken toaster broken lights toilet seats always came off well worn furniture was not worth price we paid very shabby .if I had complained I would have been up and down all holiday so we just got on with it and there was no stepping stones between caravans and path and it was ridiculous.
Philip from Newport (11 August 2017)

We loved our long weekend at looe bay holiday park and would definitely go back again
Tracey from Honiton (07 August 2017)

Reported that the shower was leaking in to the master bedroom making the carpet wet through and making the carpet smell, very unpleasant when the doors were all closed all day whilst out. We thought it had been repaired but obviously not. On the day of departure our car wouldn't start so we informed the reception staff that the breakdown company were on the way but may not arrive and fix the car before the departure time of 10am. The reception staff were not very helpful at all, all they wanted to know was if we could get the car off the caravan parking spot not sorry can we help in anyway.
Pamela (05 August 2017)

Looe is a beautiful place. It's not a place for kids. Not much for kids to do, miles from anything else. The entertainment was more for the little kids. We have got 4 teenagers and they got bored very quickly. It cost us a fortune to keep them entertained on the slot machines.
Lee from Sutton In Ashfield (05 August 2017)

We arrived on holiday to very small caravan and we couldn't put our travel cot up in the frontroom where me and my husband slept as there was no room. Caravan wasn't very clean at all. There was no lock on toilet door and no cupboard or shelves to store toiletries on. Walking to and from the carvan to reception, even in the car with windows shut, you could smell the sewage which was very very off putting as when ever we left the caravan we had to pass this horrible smell and with a autistic child this was very hard to deal and explain to him.
Helen from Plymouth (04 August 2017)

Very nice. Enjoyd looe bay. Very much
Philip from Halesowen (04 August 2017)

Lovely and quiet resort, walked into looe and got the bus back,as bus stop was outside the resort. Would definitely return.
Anne from Surrey (04 August 2017)

Food was not very nice at all. Accommodation dirty upon arrival, had to hoover and remove dead moths from the bedding. Would not stay here again very disappointed
Michael (04 August 2017)

Enjoyed the holiday very much, however wouldn't go near the pool again. . far to small, gents changing rooms disgusting and just gets to crowded. If invested in bigger pool would make it far better. . shop very expensive for groceries etc but apart from that really enjoyed stay
Ben from Haydock (31 July 2017)

We stayed in one of the 'budget caravans' but had everything we needed for an enjoyable holiday. The staff on site are nice enough, but show signs of having too much to do, which impacts engagement with them. The site is nice and the location is excellent for getting to explore cornwall's south coast.
Adrian from Leeds (29 July 2017)

All facilites very dated. We have paid just short of £1000 for 7 night stay and all resort was dirty (soft play smell of damp). entertainent not amusing at all. . we rented new in 2016 caravan that wasn't bad but still lack of cleaning shows here and there. Would not stay there again.
Philip from Hull (29 July 2017)

The place was ok, nothing special
Nigel from Portsmouth (28 July 2017)

Entertainment is monotonous with only 2 live acts during 1 week. The entertainment staff do work hard but their continual singing every night is draining. . . reception staff helpful but not customer focused (went into the reception area twice and had to interupt personal conversations and had to face 2 backs whilst I waited for their attention). . meals were excellent in the resturant, starts are shocking though. Breaded mushrooms, 5 for £4.95 - 5 mushrooms which were overcooked and tasted of fat were a fiver. Calamari really wasn't calarmari, never seen square calamari before. Or burnt. . . caravan was ridiclously small but livable. Waited a week to get a pair of dirty trainers removed, gave up in the end and put them in the bin myself. . . could do with walkways to caravans, not too nice when it's been raining to walk across wet grass.
Claire from Manchester (28 July 2017)

Lovely site.shop far to expensive.bar on the expensive side too.entertainment good.staff lovely and friendly. Overall had a good holiday
Trevor from Plymouth (28 July 2017)

Looe bay is a lovely clean and well maintained site with good facilities for children ie., swimming pool, park, football and basket ball court, disco and kids entertainment, arcade virtually and crazy golf (which we didn't get to use). . our caravan was a basic one which was fine it had all the things you need, although is small. you can't walk either side of the bed. . there is a beach virtually next door at millendreath which is lovely and quiet and looe it's self is just down the road and it is a beautiful place.
Nicola from Bolton, Lancashire (21 July 2017)

Park could do with more additional things to do. Says theres bowlingo on website but it wasn't there anymore
Emma (14 July 2017)

We had an amazing holiday here. Absolutely beautiful destination in cornwall, so central to everything and so much to do in looe. We will definitely be back!
Robert from Knutsford, Cheshire (09 June 2017)

Lovely park and the evening entertainment was great for the kids. Also did a day time kids club activity which was good value for money and really enjoyed by the kids. . . lots of noisy crows around the site which could be a bit disruptive at times, especially first thing in the morning. . . the restaurant was not great and over priced considering the quality of what you got. . . the play area and soft play were good but pool was too small and very basic and over crowded which meant we couldn't actually use. Would've been a different experience i'm sure if it had been out of school holidays.
Victoria from Weston-Super-Mare (03 June 2017)

On arrival beds were not made up had to track down lady bedding in, had breakfast on the last day but we had to have money back as it was cold and burnt lovely people to deal with felt bad we had to complain. bad smell of sewage middle of site every one holding noses everytime you went passed. no pool hall as stated, some of the activities were cancelled due to lack of equipment but nothing els to replace activity.? apart from that it is a lovely site friendly staff and location is fantastic to looe and the beach have booked again in aug for two weeks.. wish there wasn't a sewage farm so close to the site as this would be perfect ..
Nicola from Walsall (03 June 2017)

Fantastic holiday, great site and location, caravan very clean only moan would be that we had ants that covered the kitchen and lounge, went to reception a few times they gave me one little ant trap which was pointless ended up buying a big tub of ant powder and covered the kitchen and lounge. Would definitely recommend the site.pool fabulous and hot, entertainment great, great value for money. Booking up for next year.
Sara from Bloxwich (02 June 2017)

All very good very good very disappointed with only 1 tennis court to use'had trouble in restaurant every day for breakfast my son had different number of pancakes, spoke to manager they said new kitchen staff where not looking at spec proberly. The evening entertainment was fab, over all a lovely holiday site with plenty of beautiful places to visit near by
Sarah from Newbury Berks (02 June 2017)

Last minute booking, lovely holiday park in a great location.
Sheila from Tamworth (02 June 2017)

Was perfect short holiday. Nice place in good point if u want to travel along cornwall. Only minus for swimming pool opening hours. If u want use it u can't go more far then around cos is close at 5pm :( disappointed on that. That holiday place should to be open minimum till 8pm. Rest of them was great
Ewelina from Manchester (29 May 2017)

Had a great time staff friendly welcoming had a problem with electric when had shower all electric want off could not be fixed till the sunday but no problems after that
Jackie from Tamworth (27 May 2017)

The big disappointment for us was the foul smell from the sewer treatment plant which is adjacent to the site, I dread to think how bad it would be in the height of summer, so for that reason we wouldn't dream of staying there in the future.
Lesley from Anglesey, North Wales. (22 May 2017)

The staff were amazing. Especially the troopers very kind to our daughter. Would definitely be coming back.
Paige from Essex (20 May 2017)

A very relaxing break with friendly, polite staff and lovely surroundings.
Zoe from Weymouth (19 May 2017)

A lovely site with a good clubhouse & pool
Elizabeth from Loughborough (24 April 2017)

Lovely site spoiled by some irresponsible people leaving household rubbish outside the caravans at night for the gulls to spread all over. . the staff were very helpful and any problems were dealt with swiftly and efficiently. . just one very small thing that I would alter is the width of the parking bays, they are quite narrow and if you suffer mobility problems getting in and out of the car could be a problem. . all in all a pleasant stay and we would go again.
Alan from Hythe1 (21 April 2017)

Great location, some facilities not working like golf and pool shut quite early. Caravan was ok. Liked the kids entertainment.
Nicola from Bury (10 April 2017)

All okay. Very expensive food and drink. . entertainment not good. It was totally focused on bingo. shame. For such a big site i'd have expected more.
Charles (07 April 2017)

Had a great holiday when to the restaurant food was very good just waited a long time for ot to arrive but overall very good holiday booked to go back in july
Steve from Torpoint (07 April 2017)

Very enjoyable stay at looe bay.
Lisa (25 February 2017)

Dirty caravan, lots of things broke in the caravan. Empty shop on site
Gareth from Manchester (24 February 2017)

I know it was the first day of the season but our caravan was very cold on arrival even though we had heating, it made the beds feel wet it was that cold....! . but it did warm up over the weekend though.. . we found the staff very helpful . & friendly...! . the pool was a lovely temperature but the changing rooms were cold & so were the showers....! . the golf was a little warn out & dated but we still gave it a go...! . overall a good holls....!
Lisa from Plymouth (13 February 2017)

Very good for families.
Samantha from Chichester (02 January 2017)

Accommodation was tired and in need of an upgrade. otherwise a cracking short break
Chris (02 January 2017)

Great location, lovely staff. . . the buildings are just a little bit tired. Needs a good lick of paint and a general overhaul.
Poppy from West Sussex (02 January 2017)

Weekend away mixed bag of weather but the sun shone for our day shark fishing.
Ron from Kent (03 October 2016)

Very enjoyable
Lynda from Stevenage (23 September 2016)

Bar prices to expensive.food overpriced and not up to standard in the restaurant.on site shop not open late enough .site kept nice and clean .entertainment poor.this was our second visit would go again after a six hour drive you should be able to check in if your caravan is ready instead of a,mass check in with questions right out the door with 2 people trying to check everyone in .will definitely take all a,our food with us if we visit again .
Gary from Stalybridge (09 September 2016)

Great holiday camp, very clean and comfortable caravan with everything you need included, helpful and friendly staff
Pauline from Berkshire (09 September 2016)

Caravan abit small for two adults and two teenagers.but still enjoyed it.fab
Michelle from Cardiff (03 September 2016)

Great holiday, amazing location loved it will be back!
Alice from Wolverhampton (03 September 2016)

We have stayed at looe bay holiday park many, many times. however, we were disappointed to find that the caravan was mouldy and one of our party suffered with asthma due to the condition. . also, on arrival, we could not order any food from the bar as the member of staff had not turned up. we did eat in the restaurant on one evening. the meal came to £86.00 but my meal was inedible. I found more than one lump of gristle in the sausages and the mash was actually 'smash'. . I never complain but on this occasion I feel I have to.
Wendy from Basingstoke (03 September 2016)

One of the worst caravans we have stopped in for price location n looe it's self beautiful !
Kelly from Wolverhampton (29 August 2016)

Good value for money comfortable and nice location. Prices bit expensive for drinks.
Lynsey from Crewe (22 August 2016)

Entertainment staff were very hard working and put loads of effort in. However as a family with older teenagers there was little for our children to do in the evenings. Things were aimed at either young children or adults, nothing for those in between. Even bingo was for over 18's! during the day they were limited as well, as lots of the day activities required an adult. At 15, they wanted some independence. . the onsite shop was good, with helpful staff and a wide variety of goods. We found the bar expensive and lacking. My husband drinks non-alcoholic beer and they ran out several times in a week, once on the day of the delivery. Drinks were frequently served in plastic glasses as the empty glasses were left piling up on tables, even when the bar was not busy. . the site itself by caravans etc was kept tidy but inside was quite grubby and everywhere seemed to need a good wipe over or dust.
Clare from Portsmouth (15 August 2016)

The caravan was very tired, carpet coming up and dangerous, the steps outside with rubber on is unsafe as not glued down, caravan door doesn't clock properly, bathroom needed cleaning, shower has mould in it. wouldn't stay again.
Linda from Nottinghamshire (15 August 2016)

Overall had a good week at looe bay with the family. . the holiday park has good facilities, and is kept clean & tidy. The children really liked the pool and crazy golf. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The caravan was roomy & modern, and we all slept well. Can't comment on the restaurant, as we didn't eat there. Went to the bingo a few times , but found the bingo and bar prices steep. . the nearest beach was mildenreath, which was lovely and we went several times and had a couple of beach barbecues. It is a bit of a hike from the holiday park though, although there is a free beach car park I noticed. Didn't fancy driving down the very narrow blind lane to the car park though. . the only negative about looe bay are the swimming pool changing rooms and showers. The shower tiles are very mouldy, horribly off-putting. I showered afterwards in the caravan after a swim. The pool changing rooms really let this otherwise lovely holiday park down.
Rachel from North West (13 August 2016)

Looe is a great locstion for families. We had a great week in august stopping at looe bay. Will go again
Martin (13 August 2016)

Loved it and would go back again. My children loved it too.
Alexander from Ashford Kent (12 August 2016)

I would return to looe but wouldnt stay t the park again, I think it is over priced , tired, in need off refurbishment.
Joanne (12 August 2016)

Absolutely loved our holiday!! looe is an amazing place to visit with such quaint little streets full of shops. there is something for everyone. Will definitely be going back!
Janine from Ashford (12 August 2016)

Looe bay is a lovely friendly place to stay the only things that let it down are the shabby tatty caravans, which could be lovely with more care, and for the price you pay are really quite shocking. The other thing that lets it down are the prices of the drinks and how variable they are depending on the staff serving. The kids club and entertainment are fabulous and you can really see how much effort goes into this.
Sarah from Southampton (06 August 2016)

Lovely holiday site and staff very friendly and helpful.
Lesley from Birmingham (05 August 2016)

The caravan was a very poor standard. I appreciate that we probably paid less than the average but I would not expect a caravan to be so worn on any camp site to be honest. . . the pool also was just too busy for the size. . . all in all - the campsite was okay but the above, combined with lack of phone signal mean that we'd be unlikely to return to this particular site. When we needed a phone signal in an emergency, we had to drive 6 miles to make a phone call (it is possible to pay to have a mast installed on your land).
Ian from Rotherham (05 August 2016)

Excellent in most ways. only issues were staff member swearing during children's show and noise during two nights from bar. woke kids up.
David from Kenilworth (01 August 2016)

The site was a bit too far from the beach, you couldn't really walk anywhere. The bedrooms in the caravan were ridiculous. You had to climb over the double bed to get to the other side. You hit your head on the wardrobe when you turned over. The seat in the caravan on one side was broken, so you couldn't sit on it. The caravan was equipped well with utensils etc & the tv was good. The wi-fi didn't work anywhere on the site. I think that this site was over- priced for what you got. We had an ok time but came home early. We probably wouldn't visit again. We do like cornwall but found that nothing was really near to where we stayed.
Helen from Manchester (01 August 2016)

Nice enough site. I think our caravan was the cheapest on offer, nice and big but seen better days. Little things like baking trays and matches to light the oven/fireplace would have been nice! we stayed at the same site a few years ago when our children were 6 and 7yrs old and it was great, clubhouse/arcade had enough to keep them occupied, nice play park too. Now my children are older, there wasn't enough to keep them entertained when the weather was bad unfortunately. Nice, friendly staff, a good base for younger families or adults to visit the many interesting places in cornwall!
Sarah from Dunstable (01 August 2016)

Nice location and wasn't pestered by seagulls but closer to the beach would have been better. some nice facilities but not enough to keep kids fully occupied. quite a tough walk into town for young children. restaurant struggled to cope when half full. caravan smelled of dogs although was meant to be pet free.
Ian from Dorset (29 July 2016)

Brilliant family holiday with our dog everyone so friendly
Tanya from Havant (23 July 2016)

Beautiful setting and very clean.
Susan (23 July 2016)

Excellent
Kevin (22 July 2016)

Very pleasant friendly staff.clean caravans.expensive drink in the bar.noisy birds on the caravan roof from early morning.
Ian from Dumfries (18 July 2016)

Good park good entertainment take away food is lovely. Penny arcades are ticket so the kids can save up till the last day of their stay. . park is set in pretty grassland lots of wild rabbits (ahh) dog friendly. Only drawback is the phone signal and internet connectivity is next to zero.( no fault of the park just it's location) so consider a dongle or other method of data connection. The park wifi is very poor too. Apart from that yes it's a lovely park.
Gaynor (16 July 2016)

Unfortunately the park accepted a school booking of noisey foul mouthed boys from a watford school that stayed in a variety of caravans close to ours. They ran all around the caravans shouting and jeering until very late at night during their stay. This ensured that our three year old daughter had very distrupted sleep. Neither the park resorts staff or the school did anything to fix this. Hot water also failed to work on two separate occassions. Very lumpy bed.
Christine (16 July 2016)

When we arrived at the caravan it smelt very badly of smoke. Not great as we are non-smokers. Its also the first time I have had to clean the work tops & sweep the very dirty floor. The sofa cushions were very worn with holes in some places. There was a price. Ticket stuck to the table and sticky tape on the badly worn and fraying carpet. All this after arriving early and being told unless we paid a fee we could not get in to the caravan as it was being cleaned!!!. we had an expensive and mediocre meal in the restaurant. Then avoided it for the rest of the week. Personally I think there needs to be an older more experienced person to run it as my husband had to help the staff find us a table. (there was only 3other tables being used and the rest not booked until an hour and 1/2 after we wanted to eat).the saving grace to the holiday was beautiful friendly looe and the surrounding area. Extremely dog friendly and very welcoming. I will definitely be back but unfortunately not to your holiday park
Melinda from Alton (02 July 2016)

Great location to get to beautiful surroudings
Janet from Southport Merseyside (20 June 2016)

Very nice holiday park . my mum loved it .
Louise from Edinburgh (17 June 2016)

It's a nice place to stay but the on site facilities such as on site entertainment venue, shop and restaurant could do with having price reviews to try and make food and drinks more affordable.
Mark from Langold (17 June 2016)

Shop and restaurant prices too expensive .
Kevin from Leeds (13 June 2016)

Visit to looe
David (11 June 2016)

Will definetly come again. Caravan was very clean. We stayed in the pensilva and there was enough room for x4 adults. Twin beds are a little narrow but very comfy. Kitchen had everything you needed. And about 5 mins to get to centre of looe by car. Will be booking again next year.
Christie from Caerphilly (10 June 2016)

Restaurant over crowded and a bit over priced. Staff great but obviously stressed because of the density of the seating.
Peter from Waterlooville (04 June 2016)

The holiday was great, but the caravan which we stayed in was poor. It was very old and smelt of dog so much I can to go out and purchase air freshners and bleach in order to clean it. . we had ants in the living area and I was worried for my little baby who is only 4 months old and sleeping in a travel cot in this area. We loved looe but we wouldn't be returning to looe bay holiday park. It needs an huge update.

A lovely setting . reception staff were friendly and most helpful.
Jeanette from Stoke-On-Trent (03 June 2016)

The caravan was beautiful and very comfortable. We also visited some nearby national trust gardens and parks. It was a worthwhile experience.
Mac from West Sussex (03 June 2016)

Holiday good but caravan too small.
Mary from Nude Cornwall (03 June 2016)

Park is tired looking and pool area outside was neglected there was a tired old bar there but all closed up .the sunday carvery was awful !caravan stunk of dog although we asked for pet free owing to allergies .as booking was mixed up at the beginning and we were given a 2 bed and had to ask for a 3 I really had no desire to complain about the dog smell ! would not book again
