Being adults only it was quiet, peaceful and in beautiful surroundings. The lodges are brand new (2009) and very luxurious with everything you could possibly need. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners and you feel very welcome. Mrs T from Bourne

Longnor Wood is a delightful park set in a terrific and very private location. Our lodge was described as 'luxury' and we could not argue against that description. The staff at the park were extremely helpful and friendly. Mr B from Shefford

The accommodation is excellent and caters for everthing you need in terms of facilities and equipment inside the cabin. Great for walking around the villages and visiting Buxton and Bakewell. The park was very peaceful and the cabin proved to be of a high standard. Mr L from Melton Mowbray
Excellent lodges. Very helpful staff. Stunning scenery all round the area. Brilliant for walkers with Tissington and Manifold Valley Trails along old railway lines. Also miles of footpaths across country. Marvellous Pubs and eating places. Particularly recommend Duke of Devonshire in Hartington. Mr B from Burntwood
Accommodation superb, quiet (no children), well placed to reach anywhere in the park and surrounding towns by road. Perfectly suited to those wishing to enjoy the park and area rather than a (younger) family holiday. Mr R from Broxbourne

An excellent park with first class lodge, ideally situated for exploring the area. We had a lovely relaxing Easter. Mrs R from Hatfield
This was the most wonderful place! The service, the accommodation and the area were all superb. We had a lodge with a hot tub and came back feeling totally rejuvenated. The village of Longnor is a 2 minute drive (it was December so we didn't fancy the walk and it's very dark), and we had two fantastic meals - I would highly recommend The Horseshoe. We were made to feel very welcome wherever we went in the Peak District. A fabulous winter break, but I only wished it could have been longer so we could have visited more wonderful places. Mrs B from Spalding
It was a wonderfully relaxing holiday and just perfect that it was just adults only. Mrs C from Cleethorpes
Excellent accommodation. Mr D from Norwich
Excellent staff -welcoming and helpful. A lovely quiet site with great views and central for Bakewell, Buxton, Leek and Ashbourne. Ms G from Newcastle Upon Tyne
